I am ok... just very tired and feeling a bit weak and faint

TheNatty · 01/08/2009 23:32

aw MPW bless you! i was stuck at home for ages without pain relief (midwife got lost on route to us..) it was frustrating having to wait for the gas and air!

good luck, how exciting!

MakkaPakkasWilly · 01/08/2009 23:33

Natty they drugged me up good and proper when I was there earlier, I can hardly feel a bloody thing

TheNatty · 01/08/2009 23:35

MakkaPakkasWilly · 01/08/2009 23:37

RiaButterflew · 01/08/2009 23:43

bye and good luck.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 02/08/2009 07:48

Why does all the fun always happen after I've packed in for the night?

Hope all is well with the Willys!

FrazzledFairyFay · 02/08/2009 11:50

Just seen on fb that MPW has had her baby

LittleMissNorty · 02/08/2009 12:29

YAY - he's beautiful. Congratulations :-)

TheNatty · 02/08/2009 14:07

aw he so lovely, makes my little charlie look massive!
i cant believe four weeks ago i was in hospital.. it goes so fast

well done you MPW, looking forward to the birth story

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 02/08/2009 14:46

Well done MPW! Look forward to hearing more and seeing some pics when you are bit brighter.

We took Jamlet to the paddling pool and then to the swings this afternoon. Lovely afternoon out

RiaButterflew · 02/08/2009 19:49

well done MKP, welcome to little willy, what a gorgeous gorgeous name too.

lovely day with dsis here at a gala and car boot sale on a the cliff tops. home before tea and wine though as DS2 was sick

the boys did well at the show - DS2 got a 1st for his flower arrangement, and 2nd for both his painting and jame tarts. DS1 got 2 2nds - painting and sewing, and 2 3rds for his lemon cake and flower arrangement (so it was worth trawling the garden early this morning in my PJs cutting sweet peas)

DH had a good day at work and got fed a massive roast dinner when he fininshed. And found out his DD went home from hospital on Friday (nice of them to let is know, we could have been to visit at the hospital this evening).

Sputnik · 02/08/2009 21:02

Oh well done Fury, great news

TheNatty · 03/08/2009 11:16

well done to you LO ria.. bless them

i am joining SW this week, not just to lose weight but to make sure i am eating right, atm im not eating all day and then eating stupid amounts of chocolate and takeaways in the evenings

LittleMissNorty · 03/08/2009 12:36

Well done to your boys Ria

Lovely day here and I can't be arsed to do anything! No change there then

My house is peaceful atm....both DCs asleep and dog out on his walk

ursulashipton · 03/08/2009 12:56

of sleep norty. couldjust do with a nap myself. DS1 & 2 are out at an art activity day until 3pm. I can't be bothered with anyhing either, but am going to have to sort laundry at least. I just want to sleep.

tis Ria BTW

am a bit cross as DH has decided he's going out for the day on Wednesday to do some stuff and visit his DD - no mention of taking us with him (not to visit his DD as a, I thnk it would be too much for her, and b, I'm not going to ExWs house), we could have gone to York or something while he did his visiting. I don't want to spend all the holidays stuck inside! Also it's his b'day on Thursday, but he works then, so I thought we might have had a family day out.

Don't wnt o be in anyway as an old school friend is visiting her parents with her 3 DCs for 3 weeks, and she alwas calls on me when she gets annoyed with her DM, but we aren't 14 any more...

sorry, am brimming with misery todat

Sputnik · 03/08/2009 13:20

Why don't you just ask to go with him Ria?

LittleMissNorty · 03/08/2009 13:39

Yes Ria, just say, Oh we'll come along for the ride

How's the new house Sputnik?

So Ria....what's the new name about? (showing my ignorance here )

ursulashipton · 03/08/2009 13:53

here Norty.

I didn't ask because he listed the things he was doing, and there was no space for us in the list (job interview, chasing up wages owed, etc), if I think I can bring it up without causing a huff later I will. (just got grumped at for hanging out washing as it hinders the lawn cutting progress and am now stuck inside with baggins as DH can't cut the lawn if he has to supervise him.

BIL was in a funny mood yesterday too, must be something in the air in these parts

Sputnik · 03/08/2009 13:58

Won't be in the new house til end of august, and we took a break from going there this weekend. DH works nearby so keeps going in at lunch times and after work to take up furniture, or screw another leg on a kitchen unit or whatever.
We have nearly bought all the furniture that we need to move in though, which is a start. Just have t build it all!
Have also organised phone/internet, we couldn't possibly move in without that!
DH has next week off, so might make a bit more progress.

LittleMissNorty · 03/08/2009 14:22

Just in time for school then I assume Sputnik? Sounds good!

Just got a date for my op - 17th August......arrgghhh!

All the things I've been avoiding have come together....coil next week and gall bladder the following! Will my nerves hold out I wonder??!

MakkaPakkasWilly · 03/08/2009 19:31

here but can't catch up etc no Internet at hospital home tomorrow!

ursulashipton · 03/08/2009 20:05

norty, but a good idea to get it all done with at once!

sounds stressful sputnik.

ursulashipton · 03/08/2009 20:07

DH must be shattered today from being such a twat...

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 03/08/2009 20:29

Good luck Norty. Deep breaths remember, and come let out all your tension and anxiety here! (OK, it might not be quite that simple but...)

My sore throat is back And I ache from the gym yesterday, and I have period pain/PMT, and just generally feel shit
