I'd like a teeny tiny bottom too
Sounds like it came out of the coat R, lucky you!

LittleMissNorty · 08/09/2009 16:46

Did you do that test Daisy? You never know, you might have a teeny tiny bottom again

MakkaPakkasWilly · 08/09/2009 17:17

Ria, I can't even believe you are asking this.

FINDERS KEEPERS!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 08/09/2009 21:06

If it were me Ria, I would put the money aside and allow a certain time limit (2 weeks say?) for the owner to claim it and then I would consider it mine. If it was a lot of money I might do as someone suggested and tell the charity shop that you found something in the pocket of a coat if anyone is asking.

No cash found here, but I opened a cupboard in the kitchen here and found a bar of chocolate, some Jammy Dodgers and a bag of Haribo that a previous holidaymaker must have left behind. DH thinks the chocolate has been poisoned . Me and his parents tell him that he needn't have any if he is worried!

LittleMissNorty · 08/09/2009 21:12

Blimey, you are all very honest. I'd get a takeaway for everyone and then dream about how I was going to spend it (and then pay a bill oor something really boring with it).

Watching the tennies....very depressing!

LittleMissNorty · 08/09/2009 21:12

tennis

LackaDAISYcal · 08/09/2009 23:05

la la la I'm not listening.....yes, but it's too soon. got what might have been construed as a line ...but no line in the control window so the test hasn't worked! Will test again if no AF by the weekend.

OMG, watching some car crash TV...real housewives or some such shit; these women are un-fucking-believable . what sort of reality is this?

OP posts:
TheNattyTheHippy · 09/09/2009 08:00

ooh daisy i must have missed the convo about ur being late. are you VERY late or just a bit?

been to hospital with tom for another developmental check (he has them 6 monthly) he has been diagnosed with tongue tie! i feel really that i hadnt realised. he cant lift his tounge up at all, the doc reckons he is gonna have to have it snipped.
he has been tell everyone that his tongue is "stuck" and the doctor has to cut it!

LittleMissNorty · 09/09/2009 08:11

Hello Natty ...will they snip Tom's tongue under a general or just a local?

Blimey Daisy....you are brave....I'd have been down Tesco's there and then buying every early predictor test going.

Need to goto the GPs today to get some more ADs and I've woken up all anxious...fucking doctors are obviously the root of my issues . I feel really guilty cos I can never get a pre-booked appointment so I shall just ring in 20 minutes and get an emergency appointment, but what can I do....I get very jittery as I'm getting low on tablets (jeez, makes me sound like a nutter )

What was you watching Daisy? I was up till 11.30 watching the Worlds strictest parents thinking what a tosser the American bible basher was, and ended up thinking he was quite a good hearted bloke (if a little controlling). I didn't mean to watch it, but got sucked in....

FrazzledFairyFay · 09/09/2009 09:52

Daisy, I'd be in Boots too, buying every test going.

Natty, that he's got to have a procedure done but presumably it should help greatly with his speech?

LackaDAISYcal · 09/09/2009 10:20

NAtty, sorry to hear about Tom's tongue tie, but don't beat yourself up about it; these things often get missed (as witnessed by all the threads on here). It's a simple op thugh and will make a huge difference to his speech.

I was watching "Real Housewives of Orange County". Lots of Nouveau Riche trashy americans. This one woman was under the impression that her (rather ugly and not very talented) DD was going to be a great actress and was pushing her through loads of auditions and stuff...poor kid. I was then watching some trashy comedy show (the kevin bishop show?) where in the first few sketches they were making paedophilia into a joke. Not my idea of a good laugh . Channel 4 has gone downhill...or else I'm just getting too old!

Lovely day here so we're off out to the local urban farm to see the animals and have lunch in the rather nice cafe.

oh, and not sure if late or not natty as I have no idea what's happening with my cycle at the minute! and I'm paranoid about DH's as yet unconfirmed lack of fertility after his snip. It's nearly 14 days since I ovulated though and still no AF!

norty, sorry to hear you're feeling anxious ....have they not got your ADs on a repeat prescription? Can you ask for that so that you don't even need an appointment next time? Mine are reviewed three monthly at the minute.

OMG Daisy.
It'll be ok.

MakkaPakkasWilly · 09/09/2009 12:37

Daisy, get thee to a chemist!

I have just discovered goats milk formula - omg I wish I had known about it for DS1.

There is .... peace in this house

LittleMissNorty · 09/09/2009 16:23

Are you going to complain to Channel 4 Daisy? I think I would. How revolting.

Well the chemist next to my GP surgery is just as useless as the GP I've discovered today. GP gave me a prescription without any discussion . Went to chmist and asked for Bonjela teething gel for E who has cut his first tooth today and she refused to sell it to me. No, I said, the rules have only changed for normal bonjela for mouth ulcers and this stupid bloody pharmacist argued the toss and refused to sell it to me. So, I've come home and looked it up on the internet. I feel like printing it off and shoving it in front of her face, stupid cow . What is the matter with these people.....it doesn't even contain the same chemicals as the adult bonjela which is the one that shouldn't be given to a child under 16. Fucking prat.

As you can tell, I don't suffer fools gladly

TheNattyTheHippy · 09/09/2009 16:33

no idea about his op yet, he has to see a specialist first. hoping it will be a local, its a simple procedure.
i AM going to take charlie back and have his double checked, as his latch still isnt perfect and he has the forked tongue thing that tom has.

i am relieved in a way cos i always felt a rubbish mum because he wouldnt latch on to breastfeed, i felt really rejected.

MakkaPakkasWilly · 09/09/2009 18:59

in a FOUL mood
grrrrrr

TheNattyTheHippy · 09/09/2009 19:10

AGAIN
bloody men

whats up?

LittleMissNorty · 09/09/2009 22:03

Just found this e-bay shop for those of you who have started Christmas shopping.....free delivery as well

LackaDAISYcal · 09/09/2009 23:09

whaaaaat, you can't give bonjela to under 16s? bumble loves it!!! I just bought the rgular stuff and didn't even know there was a seperate teething grade bonjela.

I have been OUT...like out, in the evening, on my own (well with a friend); was a very odd experience. We have joined a choir; they do unaccompanied stuff with lots of harmonies.....and bloody good fun it was too . Then we went to the pub and I had a very large glass of wine. I could get used to this having a life nonsense

MakkaPakkasWilly · 10/09/2009 08:13

ooh I am going out today
I am a 'lady who lunches'
I am all dressed up to go out with the 'committee members' of the parenting group that I volunteer for.

I say volunteer, what it means is I am a website editor and I bark orders at poor developers. But I am married to a developer and I know they love it really.

LittleMissNorty · 10/09/2009 08:45

have a look here Daisy.

Good for you joining a choir....DD tells me to ssshhhh when I sing

Have a nice lunch MPW

My day consists of housework, toddler and babies ....makes a change!

LackaDAISYcal · 10/09/2009 09:29

I'm off out to a lunch thing as well; armed with my big bag of nappies hoping for some work!! Am terrified actually as I'm not familiar with all of them, only the ones I've used and I'm worried someone will ask me an awkward question that I don't have the answers to. Hopefully I'm just going to be setting up future appointments rather than actually selling today, but still.....

Right, only on here to print off some promo literature.......

gah who knew about the bonjela, was it kept pretty quiet or am I just dense? As a child of the "aspirin cures all" generation I'm not too worried about it though.

TheNattyTheHippy · 10/09/2009 09:39

theoretical risk?
so there is no proof it does any harm?
oh well i will use what i have left and i wont buy any more after that. its to expensive to waste frankly.

i cant find parsons teething powders anywhere, which is my prefered anyway. hope some comes up somewhere.

is it impossible charlie might be teething? ellen is def atm, cutting some back ones bless her.
im sure i can feel a sharp ridge in his mouth somewhere.. well my boob can

LittleMissNorty · 10/09/2009 09:53

nothing wrong with using the teething gel Natty (unless you shop in my chemist), its the gel used for mouth ulcers.

Daisy....keep meaning to ask, have you heard from Tallulah? Hope she is ok?

Where is Ria?

LackaDAISYcal · 10/09/2009 10:08

I hear from T occasionally; she is just very busy with E and the babies and doesn't get much of a chance to get online. she seemed fine, if a little frazzled. I'm off up to Scotland for a week at the end of the hols and am going to try really hard to meet up with her.

I think I might have chicken pox . A cluster of spots came up on my arm yesterday, and one of them had a teeny head on it that slowly filled with fluid throughout the day. It burst last night and is now really really itchy. none of the other spots on my arms have blistered though and although I have another couple of itchy spots on the back of my neck this morning, I can't see it they are blistery or not . I had chicken pox when I was 7 though and I didn't think that you could get it again?
