sounds nice jammy. Don't think I'll look at that thread TBH. I think we might have hit rock bottom this week (due to my online shop and a cock up with the last of DHs ESA), but it will be OK now cos DH got paid today, so it was only Sunday-Weds.

I have been using the extended schools cluster JBM, excellent for keepuing DS1 amused, and DS2 has been to a couple.

norty. is gall bladder an overnighter? I'm sure you'll be OK though. I think a hotel near here might have had it a couple f years ago, quite soon after they got closed down for norwalk.

am going for a nice long bath to wash away the sand. DH has said DS1 can stay up late to watch the meteors, and suddenly they are watching some kind of bizarre film I wouldn't watch.

Also I get to be the bad guy tonight. DHs DD has tried to claim on her insurance for her accident, and it seems she isn't covered (apparently the person on the phone was very rude). Unfortunately (for me) I used to work for the company in question so DH has brought the policy home for me to look at, and even though she requested a certain type of cover, it obviously wasn't done right, and she obviously didn't check her quote properly I have said I'll take it in for my old boss to look at, but as far as I can see there's no hope, and I feel like it's my fault with DH ranting about liars and con-men (one of the reasons I never went back after ML)

RIAlityBites · 13/08/2009 20:35

Ria's back!

ursula obviously hated me.

DH has been a twat beyond belief today, it was a relief when he went to work. He'll be back any minute so he'd better be in a better mood.

hope everyone else is OK.

LittleMissNorty · 13/08/2009 21:58

Hello

horrible knackered day today with a cranky teething DD...but have had my coil put in - not nearly as bad as I expected (always the way!)

Yep staying in overnight Monday Ria - but no-one is allowed to bath or shower there

RIAlityBites · 14/08/2009 17:56

hi Norty. glad your coil was OK.

"bookmarking" for later!!!

Ohforfoxsake · 14/08/2009 19:58

de-lurking. hope you are all fine n dandy

RIAlityBites · 14/08/2009 20:00

hi foxy, how ya doing'?

Ohforfoxsake · 14/08/2009 20:03

yeah, alright thanks Ria. Busy, busy, you know how it is!

Are you OK m'dear? Very quiet on here these days. I don't have much to say for myself.

In fact, I bore myself most of the time!!!

RIAlityBites · 14/08/2009 20:09

come and bore us then!

is daisy back tomorrow?

all OK-ish here thanks. think DH maybe has stopped being an arse. a bit down tonight though, I suppose it's the after-effects of arguing

friends coming over tomorrow evening, not looking forward to that TBH, then have to think of something for Sunday (am avoiding the ironing!)

see, I'm incredibly boring!

Ohforfoxsake · 14/08/2009 20:30

the day to day of school holidays - yawn!

LO now says 'Oh bugger' when she drops something, screams 'shudduuuuup' at her siblings and lies "DS1 hit me". DS2 meanwhile has perfected the 'arm-pit fart'.

Oh its all happening here!

RIAlityBites · 14/08/2009 21:02

kids hey.

baggins and DS2 can scream in a perfect tonal harmony!

"stupid man" is a favourite for baggins when we are driving with DH/Dsis

DS1 has discovered Jeeves and Wooster (have to take him to the library tomorrow to authorise the borrowing of P G Wodehouse).

DS2 is perfecting the art of the tantrum

last night baggins and DS2 did sleep all night in their own beds, probably because I was in there with them (very exhausted tonight, incredibly uncomfortable) as our bed broke yesterday and DH was in too much of a huff to fix it before he went to work (with some snide comment about how it would be OK so long as I didn't go on it), he has now put a pile of books underneath. Any bets it'll still be like that at christmas?

Sputnik · 14/08/2009 21:18

LOL at bed fix.
Nice to see you Foxy. Must be really hectic for you with all 4 at home.

We have been industriously getting our new flat ready, and actually stayed the night there last night, as we managed to assemble the sofabed. The kid's room is livable so DS got his first night in a proper bed, though he did get out at one point, I heard a noise and he was sitting on the floor, asleep.

It's strange for me living surrounded by so many people, but ok except for the neighbour's 2nd hand cigarette smoke drifing in at 3 in the morning . Could be worse.

Ohforfoxsake · 14/08/2009 21:33

Hey Sputnik

Remind me, did you move to Rome?

Ohforfoxsake · 14/08/2009 22:06

See? Its 10 O'clock now. I've been on here for hours when I should be doing something else probably.

MN just sucks you in...

I'm off to bed. Night all xx

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 14/08/2009 22:35

Having a nice time here with my sister visiting (not just saying this because she is sitting next to me, honest) but just popping in to see what's happening. Good to see you back Foxy!

We were out shopping today, which was better than I had expected with Jamlet, who normally hates the shops. My sister's grazed knee fascinated her though and kept her entertained while I was looking at clothes. And she suddenly got very affectionate and I got lots of spontaneous cuddles and kisses, which was lovely. Must remember that part of the afternoon rather than the tantrum in the ice cream shop

RIAlityBites · 14/08/2009 22:38

indeed jammy. the kisses from baggins when I got him out of the car were far nicer than him "surfing" in the seat of the trolley all the way round the supermarket!
Glad you are having a nice time.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 14/08/2009 22:38

By the way I bought this and this to wear to my brother's wedding in 3 weeks.

RIAlityBites · 14/08/2009 22:46

tee-hee

RIAlityBites · 14/08/2009 22:48

I love that top jammy

MakkaPakkasWilly · 15/08/2009 10:46

Hey ladies
been very quiet on here.

I am doing a little better now - I had an iron drop earlier in the week which saw me back at hospital and some days I feel much weaker than others, plus also I am still bleeding fairly heavily, but I am getting there.

DS2 is on a combination of EBM and FF and had a bad reaction to SMA and HIPP so we have him on Aptamil Easy Digest now which (touch wood) is proving successful.
I have thrush in my boob. I think I deserve a medal for my martyrdom

I'm so tired. DH is back to work on monday, thankfully DS1 is back at nursery full time so I can continue to try and rest.

TheNatty · 15/08/2009 12:27

been so busy with the mother and baby awards stuff this week! i had soooo many reviews to write as some of the products required 5 each and i had a total of 26 products..

thank god its over now
i have enjoyed myself tho

hope everyone is ok, off to catch up. i will be on later prob when kids in bed x

LackaDAISYcal · 15/08/2009 21:16

Helllooooooooo

Just popping in briefly to say Congratulations to fury and welcome to the world baby R ......I just knew you would do it as soon as I disappeared off on holiday . But, from a quick skim, it looks like things have been a bit tough

holiday was.....challenging. Weather was fantastic, too hot for the babies really, but I loved it. None of the buggers would go to sleep at night though and then bumble, after a promising start of missing his 1am feed for two nights and then sleeping through the next night, went tits up and has been awake three times a night since then . Norfolk was just fab though and I want to go and live there in a converted windmill or a houseboat . I'll try and get the photos uploaded tomorrow.

off to catch up but may disappear for a couple of days as I'm collating all my emm and bee stuff from my testers and filling out the forms for the next couple of days

Hello

Nice to see you Natty and Foxy and welcome home Daisy

My beautiful smiling baby has turned into a miserable, tearful and stroppy baby who is in pain with his teeth. Was up screaming every 2 hours during the night and has been dosed up with bonjela and calpol but is still very miserable. OMG I hope I'm not going to have this every time he gets a tooth. I'm beginning to realise how lucky I was with DD.

My 8 M&B reviews were not fun so sympathies for you with big items. Did you not have 5 testers or were you all five?

I'm supposed to be working.....

LackaDAISYcal · 15/08/2009 22:05

i had some testers helping norty, but stooopidly said I'd do all the inputting of reviews .

LackaDAISYcal · 15/08/2009 22:07

oh, and sorry for DS's teeth, poor thing . bumble seems to making hard work of his as well.

he is mobile!!! He sort of swims across the carpet, butterfly styleee; very funny!

OP posts:
LittleMissNorty · 15/08/2009 22:09

must be a male thing Daisy....his dad is a bit of a drama queen

Blimey....mobile ....my DS is on his tummy 99% of time trying to move and getting very fustrated....and rolling around.

Bollocks, he's crying
