night jammy, have a nice day tomorrow.

what is a photo book?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/08/2009 07:50

Photo books - you get the photos printed directly onto the pages of a book, rather than putting photos into an album.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/08/2009 07:51

And would you believe that Jamlet slept from 6pm - 7am?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/08/2009 09:46

And is now having a little nap!

LittleMissNorty · 09/08/2009 10:05

Mine just gone for a nap as well

DS just eaten a whole weetabix with milk and pureed mango . Then sucked a finger of toast to death

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/08/2009 12:26

Well the nap didn't last long. But we have been out for a walk. It was so painfully slow though walking back from town, looking at every flower, wall, fence, gate, lampost etc etc. And when we found a ladybird she was delighted. So we let it crawl about on my finger for a minute, then hers (which was obviously just the best thing ever!). But then it flew away which really confused her - and there it was gone! So we had to wait for an age until she was convinced it really wasn't coming back before she would move any further. All in all I'm glad she is tired now and trying again for a nap before our guests arrive this afternoon, because I'm knackered!

ursulashipton · 09/08/2009 15:30

and jammy.

baggins had a nap this morning. DS2 won't have one, despite looking like poo. He has no more symptoms and says his throat doesn't hurt just now, but has big black rings under his eyes, and the skin on his face looks "bumpy". He was lolling around in his PJs til about 2pm =[th''o/ugh (baggins helping!)
DS1 has had a funny tummy and I have a headache (luckily the twist in my back last night had gone by getting up time)

am tidying the living rooms today, have done the floor and swapped the sofas over (and washed down the sofas I've moved out, but not the ones that have been in the conservatory - too big and too much like hard work!) one of the cupboard doors has just fallen off, so I'm going to make it into a toy cubby hole. and I'm packing away the playpen (mainly to stop everyone filling it to the brim with toys when they "tidy up")

ursulashipton · 09/08/2009 15:30

FGS - crying in stereo...

I resign.

ursulashipton · 10/08/2009 11:23

sciatica

MakkaPakkasWilly · 10/08/2009 12:05

Hello
I'm baaaackkkkkk

I have not been very well, neither has DS2, I keep having iron crashes and fainting and stuff, plus I needed an enema, and I split my scar. I have been in a pretty bad way and in and out of hospital.

Plus DS2 kept vomiting blood and it turns out he is probably allergic to the dairy proteins in formula, and I was planning to FF, so as well as feeling like shite I have had to pump like a bitch to get a milk supply up which isn't going particularly well either, esp with all the medication etc I am on. I take like 20 tablets a day plus I have to inject myself in the stomach twice a day.

Sooooo all up I think I have skirted around one of lifes low points. Plus people (dr's/mw's) keep calling DS2 miracle baby as he is ok after my placental abruption, which then makes me all tearful.

ursulashipton · 10/08/2009 13:26

fury, I saw your FB profile and wondered how you were doing. It doesn't sound much fun but at least you're home again. Is it a long-term thing for DS then, or will he be able to tolerate formula as he gets bigger? Hope it all goes well for you now.

LittleMissNorty · 10/08/2009 17:27

Glad to hear you're home Fury and you are improving. Is their not an allergy free formula you can give DS2? Can get it on prescription as well.

Quiet around here - must be lots of lurkers with nothing to read!

My poor DD is getting all four of her back teeth at once.....her gums look SO sore . Think the other one is teething as well....gaviscon making little difference here as I have changed the cot twice today, him four times and me twice as well as mopped up highchair and carpet as infinitum! They're going to love him at nursery!

LittleMissNorty · 10/08/2009 17:27

god grammar is crap

ursulashipton · 10/08/2009 18:18

poor DD norty. I wonder if that's what wrong with baggins.

DS2 went to baking this afternoon, and came home and decided he was helping cook tea as he would make it taste better (It was a SW recipe so I actually doubt anything could have made it taste better)

DH has gone away for a couple of days - he got offered a couple of days temping through the agency, and he's not tied here at the beginning of the week. He did say he wouldn't go if I didn't want him to, but how can I say no (even though I wanted to) when the money will be nice? I have had to ask a favour of a friend tomorrow to get DS1 to his archery day, I hate asking for help.

My parents and sister are away on holiday together too, so I am feeling pretty abandoned

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/08/2009 19:52

Poor Norty's DD, Fury and BabyFury

Sorry you feel abandonned Ria

We had lots of fun looking at insects on the ground and fence by the bus stop tonight And Jamlet walked all the way from nursery to the bus stop for the first time But I think the ladybird bishy barnabee population suffered a little due to Jamlet'sover enthusiasm. I'm sure I saw 3 she squashed or scared to death

ursulashipton · 11/08/2009 12:25

jammy, and yay for jamlet for walking.

we have been for a walk down a lane today that I haven't been down since I was at school. I was sussing out the public footpath over the fields to town to go to the beach. Will need to use the carrier though as I don't think I couod manage the pushchair on my own, and although DS1 tries, I think he wouldn't be able to help. baggins was dog poo spotting

lovely day today, DS1 gone to an archery session, then they are having friends over til teatime and we might go to the park

still feel abandoned, but feel better about it today. what a difference co-codamol makes!

have a nice day everyone.

MakkaPakkasWilly · 11/08/2009 20:31

Ds1's nursery want to start potty training him. LOL! good luck with that, nutters

ursulashipton · 11/08/2009 21:17

DM thinks (and the HV mentioned it) that baggins should be starting too, and he can ask for wee wee toilet, but I don'think he's properly ready yet. DS1 was only just trained in time to start preschool, I think he had 1 or 2 terms at "playgroup" (where you couldn't go in those days if you had a nappy) before he started. So they were both 3 at least.

Your photos of your little bundle are gorgeous fury

boys in bed, painkillers taken, I'm on my way...

big plans for tomorrow so hoping for good weather, no pain, and ability to walk!

muchostinky · 11/08/2009 23:13

Not even lurking at the moment people - just been busy. You haven't scared me off though, but maybe you have scared the guy that was lurking too!

MPW - So sorry to here about teh probs you have been having and I hope you are feeling a bit more like yourself now or at least soon.

DS will use the potty sometimes, usually just for a wee though. But then other days when I ask him he just wants a nappy on - so who knows if he is ready of not?!

FrazzledFairyFay · 12/08/2009 08:03

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been around much recently- hope everyone is ok?

MPW - I'm glad things are on the mend, but sorry you've had such an awful time of it. I've had a look at some of your fb pics, and DS2 is gorgeous. How is DS1 adapting to having a baby brother?

I am taking my DCs to Chessington today - it's a dull day here so I'm hoping it won't be too crowded. Have good days everyone

ursulashipton · 12/08/2009 09:25

have a good day fairy, Hi mucho.

it was all those fluttering eyelashes I thin

I am walking to town with the boys to go to the beach, although DS2s friend is ill so isn't going anymore (though I'm not telling him til later - mean mummy), lovely weather for it.

DH home later

have a nice day everyone.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/08/2009 09:43

Hi Mucho, Fairy, Ria.

Teddy Bears' Picnic for us later (when Jamlet wakes up). And then my sister is arriving this afternoon to stay for a few days We had planned it, but then she couldn't afford the train fare but then her son bought her the tickets as her birthday present! Will have to be a cheap and cheerful visit though as I've found out that the pensions people were right to take an extra £250 off me this month (due to them cocking things up in the past) so I'm broke But not as broke as the "how skint have you been" thread Made me feel very sad reading that earlier.

LittleMissNorty · 12/08/2009 12:11

Hello

Chessington sounds good! I am at work today having a child free day. I'm still wearing the same set of clothes that I put on this morning as I have no-one to puke over me and my mum is at home doing my washing and ironing . I'm sitting here with lunch (all to myself) and a hot cuppa

Nice to see you MOS

Having my gall bladder out on Monday and the hospital I'm going to has just announced that 3 patients have caught Legionairres disease there (1 died) and they have suspended all showers, baths and water births . Oh GREAT - does wonders for my anxiety that one!

LittleMissNorty · 12/08/2009 22:03

I killed the thread then!

justbeme · 12/08/2009 22:11
