Auld I did appreciate that )))

I found out on 27th July!! I remember it vividly..we were due to have a BBQ at 2, I had already done 4 neg tests despite being only 4 weeks (I knew!) and I thought..I'll just pop out and get another one. Two minutes later I was shouting for DH, wondering why he was ignoring me at this crucial point in my life. I eventually found him hoovering in his pants
Not very romantic....

I then had about 50 people over and had to try and hide my inane grins. Apparently they all knew though, they told me later!

oh Juwesm, it's so you!

Guimauve · 15/08/2009 10:08

Thanks!

So here's my light catch up...

Schulte- Moo's been using the bumbo for about 2 months now and we almost have to stop because shes figured out that if she straightens up like a board she can force her way out of it the little dickens. I swear she wants to be walking all ready, but she's not even turning over reliably yet nor has she managed to figure out how to get herself sitting from a laying down position though she tries very hard (which leads to abs crunches)

Boff sorry to hear you're unwell again which is making your holiday not so great. Hopefully things are looking up on that front soon. hugs

bebemoo · 15/08/2009 10:12

Gui suits you

bebemoo · 15/08/2009 10:37

so a whiney hormonal me me me ME post -no responses needed, just need to get it off my chest really (though I'll probably be whining about it for the next month all the same so please forgive me in advance)

Dh has new contract (good) with good pay (very good) but it's in Bracknell (bad) and will be away M-F (very bad). And we went on the little holiday to Scotland to get away a bit and have some family time and relax. And as I mentioned it was not relaxing. All sorts of little things (moo not sleeping through the nights so late starts on the days/driving because I was too exhausted to get us all together and out and about; having to stop at PIL to fix computer fist so 'leaving' a day late; dh losing v expensive put cheaply purchased rain jacket and having to replace it -with very expensive one; rip/burn in brand new tarp when it fell down/onto the midge coil; rain and a host of other things too) made it not so great. We came home early so we could relax and it's all continued with tons of little stresses and worries and no 'mommy and daddy time' because dh is playing long into the night (which means I'm FAR too tired/asleep for any desire to play hide the sausage or cowgirls and porridge guns) with new laptop bought specifically for the job and so we'll be able to 'talk' at night But it's not working properly) and then a new tiny laptop for me so I can carry it in the nappy bag and have access all the time to net and my writing (which he's managed to crash by messing around and 'sorting it for me'. And I'm horribly worried about coping with Meg all day and night during the week with no 'down' time, especially since the lovely 'sleeping through the night' has disappeared like a fairy dream.

Hello all

Sorry this is a placemarking post - risking the wrath of husband by MNing when I should be taking the baby back and up to bed.

Seriously no time at the moment but will try tomorrow.

gawain · 15/08/2009 23:31

Guimauve · 16/08/2009 07:48

Was thinking 'Wot, like bronze????'........aaaaahhhh!

Guimauve · 16/08/2009 07:50

It's strange, all these new names. Everyone is going to be very confused when they get back!

PuzzleRocks · 16/08/2009 08:52

Good morning

We all had an ace day yesterday. DH and I took the girls swimming with my Mum. Holly's bottom lip wobbled at first but then she found her inner fish and it was hilarious to see her furiously kicking her little legs. They were both utterly exhausted by the time we got home.
It was at my Mums gym so not busy at all.
It used to be my gym and being there really made me miss the buzz. Not that I have the time to go, let alone the funds. Bunging on a fitness dvd at home just isn't the same.

Later we bumped into my ex's mother whom I hadn't seen since I left ex. She was very very sweet and it was actually lovely to see her and not awkward at all.
She was driving a brand new Jaguar XK

What do you all have planned for today?

thedailyfemale · 16/08/2009 15:37

I'm having an odd day
know idea why it all seems a little hazy and like Im no here really

bebemoo · 16/08/2009 17:01

We all slept to 11 (well Moo and I were up for our obligatory feeds every 2 hours still) but 11! Then we went to Starbucks with DH and had I nice relaxing coffee and read of the paper with a walk around the 'block' to get Moo to sleep for a little nap so we could have a little longer with our 2nd! cup. Back home now and after another feed and a little nap for us all, we're playing with our new toys again

How's everyone else Liking the new looks

thedailyfemale · 16/08/2009 17:52

I'm shattered. Dh is away and I'm still bloody decorating. You would think this house is huge the amount I've done. Mostly shattered though as I have to do the painting in the evenings

bebemoo · 16/08/2009 18:13

You poor thing. here's a lovely cuppa tea and some home made choc chip cookies. Have a little break.

thedailyfemale · 16/08/2009 18:17

bebemoo · 16/08/2009 18:54
