ALBS Dylan not far behind on the 31st

alittlebitshy · 06/06/2009 10:06

how's it with your dad today so far dizzy?

Miamla · 06/06/2009 10:16

ah ha but my DS jumps in the birthday queue ahead of Dylan because he was the 30th

dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 10:53

ALBS did you not see the above AARRGGHHH

welcome back Miamla

I cannot believe how DD2 is being, she's been on great form for weeks now and has suddenly decided to go backwards in terms of behaviour these last few days - of course my father is from the 'seen and not heard' generation which makes it all the more pleasant

she has gone to the potty twice this morning of her own vocation so I suppose I should cut her some slack - trying to pick up DD1 by her hair earlier was a tad much though

TwilightSurfer · 06/06/2009 13:09

Dizzy AARRRGGGHHHH away. I'll be joining that tune soon I'm sure.

Sazzles you may gatecrash any time you like. I could use your charm today so COME ON.

DH mowing the yard (it's 8am[shock[). All that's left for me to do is vaccuum and sweep. OH AND SHOWER. Party's not till 1pm but knowing my family I'll have folks arriving around 11am.

After the weekend hoopla passes I'll dust off our birthday list. I actually look forward to getting it all tidied up. It was great fun doing all that administrative work. Gosh do you all remember our moaning and anticipation this time last year.

Off to wash off the stink. Have a wonderful day.

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 14:07

moaning?!? how very dare you, we were all veritable saints at this point

Miamla · 06/06/2009 15:26

veritable saints? erm, actually i beg to differ!

the first post was

Morning all
Woken up with a nose bleed and what I suspect is conjunctivitous in my left eye. Oh joy! No chance of seeing a doc today so will have to wait til monday. Hope everyone else is more cheery than me this morning

and the last post of the day was...

By dizzydixies on Fri 06-Jun-08 23:16:16
night sazz am not far behind you to be honest, am up at 5.30 for early shift should've been in bed hours ago

most of the posts that day were about an amazing tingly leg cream!

also it would appear i have missed an important anniversary today... on the 6/jun/08 i had my first ever krispy kreme! in fact, it would appear i had my first, second, third and fourth all on the same day

(at mum's atm so I had better jump off her computer!)

dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 15:28

ROFL - I cannot believe you went back and looked

but happy anniversary all the same

PlumBumMum · 06/06/2009 16:03

Sorry ((hijack))Dizzy but could you look here just a little thankyou!

Miamla · 06/06/2009 19:12

i only looked because i didn't imagine for a moment that we were veritable saints but do find it v amusing that it was me that started the day off with a moan and that it was you that finished it off with a moan

dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 19:17

was only being supportive of course, didn't want you to feel alone in your plight

Miamla · 06/06/2009 19:20

your support was very much appreciated then and still is now

so girls, what does one do in the evening when one has a sleeping baby and an absent DP?! This is a very unusual concept for me (the sleeping baby bit, not the DP bit!)

Miamla · 06/06/2009 19:23

hold that thought, one of the above is no longer true!

good point Sazz, i won't mention the S word again

ha ha i have a non-awake baby again!

dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 21:11

right ladies, nits are topic of the day - what am I looking for? girl in DD1's class had them last week and she's scratching tonight - have had a look, can't see anything apparent, bought the stuff in Tesco just in case but can anyone shed some light?!?

Sazz very of new curtains, the splashback in the kitchen is finally done after waiting 2yrs but the blinds shall remain an ongoing project

dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 21:18

ignore me, have googled, am now itching all over and I think I'm going to have to treat the wee one in the morning

DD1 will be ok but DD2, who doesn't let anyone touch her hair, will go mental all before church when they will no doubt announce to the congregation that we're infested

dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 21:30

has anyone heard from sausage&mash or steaky recently? not that I'm always thinking about food or anything

Miamla · 06/06/2009 21:30

surely they'll just barr you from entering the church, no? otherwise there's a risk you'll contaminate the place

arse! freeview box is broken so now i've got a non-awake baby, an absent DP and only you lot for entertainment!

dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 21:37

probably, which would be about right as its my joining ceremony thingy tomorrow too

Miamla · 06/06/2009 21:38

sorry, i meant it more that you lovely ladies all seem to be having a RL tonight and i was on here all by myself!

i am a genius when determined enough though... freeview now fixed!

dizzydixies · 06/06/2009 21:44

well done for not being as technically inept as me!

am waiting on DD2 to stop kicking about upstairs and then I'm off to bed, am hoping for another good night, if early wakening, so I can start to feel a bit more human

Miamla · 06/06/2009 21:47

although to be fair, i should be able to fix such things given i used to be a sys admin for a 5 branch firm!

oh no! how long do you think she'll be up for?

Miamla · 06/06/2009 21:47

lol, its been a bit of a miamla/dizzy show today!

what would happen if you went up before she was settled?
