dizzydixies · 05/06/2009 17:24

oops the cat will learn as quickly as our dog has had to, I SWEAR she sighs every time we come home with a new baby

miamla hope you're feeling a touch better soon

CC consider it done, loving the fact your fav cake is the same initials as your MN name meatballs and rice is too catery iykwim? the next project is to get a sports centre/community centre opened up within Tayport and we will have industial catering facilities in it - at that point we'll start 'proper' cooking which will in turn supply the cafe as well as other projects - THEN I shall have you up for meatballs and rice

buckets am going to call them yuppy butties in your honour!!

TS you're party planning is inspirational - well done you

Sazz thats hysterical, how did you come across that? am showing my age by remembering the proper wording!!

have phoned poppy and you'll be pleased to hear all well within herself, tis worries over someone else and have tried to give her advice obo all of us - some straight talking a la PF, some soothing poetic words like VG and Lentil, some practical advice along the lines of buckets and cyteen, a mojito from TS, G&T from Sazz, internet shopping site from me and No1 to provide some retail therapy and some cakage from Oops!!

cyteen all the babies advance at very different stages, my cousin is about beside herself as her ds who is 2wks younger than Dylan has no teeth and not moving at all - I have tried to explain to her several times that it means nothing - Dylan was bigger, born on her due date and has her sisters as examples of what to strive towards where as her DS is the only baby and very content to be just that. Having been bitten(very harshly) and chased after her all day I am kind of wishing that she too was a bit more contented with being a baby for a bit longer too

DH has managed to get some of his second essay done whilst I had Dylan and DD2 down visiting my friend and her new baby. I was struggling on the way home because I was tired driving so when I came in I told him I was going for a quick lie down, it lasted all of 10minutes before all hell broke loose and he's still stropping about am about to stop being the concerned/supportive wife re these fecking essays - he has nobody to blame but himself that he's so late doing them

dad back from his golf trip tonight and I have some cafe stuff to do tonight so might not be on later. Can you beleive that of the 11 comments there are for the cafe, 1 is the original objection, 1 is the trust chairman, 1 is DH and the rest are friends of mine so just exactly WHERE are the comments from these fecking people who so desperately want a coffee shop in the village I'm SOOOOOO glad that I'm running about like a looney for all this, could someone please take me outside and have a word with me?!?!?

dizzydixies · 05/06/2009 17:25

Just seen that video Sazzles was very funny Shame about your friends, if I was nearer I would definitely be over for dinner. Have got a six-year old's birthday to go to on Sunday anyway, saving up all my spare calories for cake...

Dizzy thanks for being kind to Poppy for us all

Poppy glad to hear you are feeling a bit better now

Now then, anyone collecting the Tesco for schools vouchers? I have a pile at home but no nearby school wants them. Would be happy to post to any of you if you want.

dizzydixies · 05/06/2009 18:44

too much food here too Sazz as my dad has just turned up in time for tea and announced that he's already had his - good of him to let me know going to be a long weekend

hotter - we'll happily take the vouchers as I'm split between the nursery/school and the rainbows - FB me and I'll send you my address

hotterpotter · 05/06/2009 18:52

dizzydixies · 05/06/2009 18:56

Feel free to look at my MNpics for a newly uploaded photo of my banana pudding for the PARtAY tomorrow. DD1 is cleaning the mixing bowl as I type. One spoon full for her...one spoon for Reese. They are having a really good time with it.

dizzy am a little disappointed you didn't feel my inane drivel wise words of wisdom could have hindered helped Oops . Probably for the best really.

Sazzles I don't believe you. Are you off to Scotland? You'll be off to visit lwfh next!! Btw, you are always welcome in NOtts too you know. I'll start to get offended if you visit everyone else and not me

cyteen hotpot and no1. Shall we pick a date to meet up? I'm a bit manic in June (not literally, just work wise and uni wise) but July is looking good?

CaptainCaveman · 05/06/2009 20:52

CaptainCaveman · 05/06/2009 20:54

CaptainCaveman · 05/06/2009 21:05

We've booked Oliver's baptism for July 12th. I don't know why but I can't think of the word baptism without thinking of baps

sambo303 · 05/06/2009 21:06

the nct sale is in Twickenham tomorrow pertelote so hopefully there'll be some nice stuff. We 're going to a friend's for a picnic too tomorrow, and hopefully we'll get to see a few races at the Epsom Derby as well as it's near her house

miamla did you get my email?

dizzy could you get a weeny grill thing for the cafe and do fish finger sandwiches - v v popular and could be yuppified with the addition of 'leaves' and lime mayo.

dizzydixies · 05/06/2009 21:10

CC - you're a perfect booby! thats the weekend after Dylan's hopefully

sambo - George foreman is awaiting instructions

sambo303 · 05/06/2009 21:13

mmm steak and caralmelised onions too in that case (healthy to boot)

dizzydixies · 05/06/2009 21:16

I'm not sure we'll be doing too much hot cooking at the minute though

I think we'll be cakes, coffees, small brekkie menu and possibly baked potatoes and or sandwiches/panninis?

cyteen · 05/06/2009 21:26

CC lol at 'not literally' June is mad for me too so maybe July, but then all my NCT group's babies arrived in July so possibly not. We will see

oopsacoconut · 05/06/2009 21:46

Our NCT group are having a Birthday party next month all the babies will be at least 11.5 months old with 4 of the 7 already 1, except DD who won't even be 11 months. I can't believe they are all growing up so fast, can someone please stop the clock.

CC I was wondering what you were on about but was too polite to question you.

TwilightSurfer · 06/06/2009 04:03

OMG!!! I'm back on the internet!!! After my last post I did something and lost all internet for HOURS!!!!

Dizzy...pic in profile now.

Captain...will post as we reach July. The thread moves to fast for it to be worthwhile to post birthday list now. I "assume" we'll just needed Bday and MNscreenname??

Came up with creative solution for more seating...I will use two queen-size quilts as picnic blankets under our huge shade trees in the front and back yards. Viola! DH gave me a look and said "only if we really have too" but I think that's PERFECT! What does he know anyway.

Stress level still low. Wish me luck!

SLEEPY VIBES to ALL!!!!!!!
