Poor DH is home from work already and it's looking much worse He says he feels really fluey now as well. But, his boss has basically given him the all clear to call in sick tomorrow.

What with his poorliness and my utter fatigue (bumble and I saw every hour on the clock last night), DD's headache, plus DS1's usual stroppiness, we are all on great form here

LittleMissNorty · 15/06/2009 17:23

Daisy, if he is fluey he needs to go to hospital .

Can you get your ILs to have DS1 and DD?

Wish I was closer x

Sputnik · 15/06/2009 17:41

Your poor DH Daisy
Get into the hospital.

HellHathNoFury · 15/06/2009 18:26

Daisy DH needs to go to a hospital, and not tomorrow either x

Sputnik · 15/06/2009 18:45

Hopefully he is there now

Rialentless · 15/06/2009 18:51

hope DH is OK daisy.
you and the DCs get yourselves a duvet day tomorrow if you have another bad night. wish I was closer too.

LackaDAISYcal · 15/06/2009 20:18

He's still at home; no temperature so he isn't worried .....I think I may have Munchausen's-by-proxy as I'm getting more upset about it than he is.
Silly arse is talking about ordering the timber for building a deck in the back garden at the weekend

LittleMissNorty · 15/06/2009 20:59

Why don't you ring the hospital or NHS direct Daisy? Does sound like it needs attention. Men eh?

LackaDAISYcal · 15/06/2009 21:08

He wants to give the ABs a chance to do their thing Norty. I wish he would stop bloody scratting at it though. I'm going to tie socks in his hands if he doesn't stop!

OP posts:
Rialentless · 15/06/2009 21:31

could you give him some piriton?

DH waiting for his OU tutor to ring.

baggins watching Rosie & Jim.

LittleMissNorty · 15/06/2009 21:41

Hope it calms down. I have some sympathy with the itching....must be sending him scatty!

Rosie and Jim at this time lucky you Ria.

I've just been looking at the Tomy website and wondering whether to start buying things for Xmas yet . Daisy, did you see the pic on FB of tinky-winky that used to belong to your household on DDs potty? My DD now wipes its bum and put a nappy on it...walking around saying "dirty, dirty" . I also caught her with one of DSs bibs and bottles spraying formula all over its face!!

Rialentless · 15/06/2009 21:53

it is very relaxing Norty!

Rialentless · 15/06/2009 22:11

wasn't ignoring your earlier question - DH can't go to pain clinic until he finds out there is nothing more the consultant can do

LackaDAISYcal · 15/06/2009 22:36

Ria, he is on industrial strength anti-histamine as well.

Ach, he'll live, but it is looking likely for a visit to hospital tomorrow

for DH daisy

TheNatty · 16/06/2009 09:25

hope DH is ok daisy

ive got a scan today tee hee... i wonder how big this baby is? they had better not say 10lb otherwise my normal birth plan might go a bit wrong.. lmao

what is everyone up to today?

HellHathNoFury · 16/06/2009 09:50

How is DH Daisy?

Natty, I am working today.
DH & I both got paid yesterday so I have been paying bills.

Also did some online shopping with Ocado and M&S, so much for trying to save money.

Am wondering how I can afford to have 2 in childcare when it costs about the same as I earn....hmmmmmm

TheNatty · 16/06/2009 09:52

lol fury thats why i didnt go back after having ellen!

i am looking into doing a part time course in september.. am i mad?

HellHathNoFury · 16/06/2009 10:00

It's not mad Natty, it's proactive and good for keeping your brain active and skills current. What were you doing before you had Ellen?

I am also making the most of the sunshine and laundering all our pillows. I have dust allergies so try to do it when I can!

LackaDAISYcal · 16/06/2009 10:26

DH will live!

The swelling has gone down a bit and the outline of it has retreated so he has gone to work as normal. He's off visiting a supplier though and should be home at half three so isn't going to bother going back to the office....I suspect he will want to disappear off fishing though

DD has just eaten three peaches one after the other.....I have been online and wasn't paying attention but thought she was taking ages to eat a peach; a quick check of the fruit bowl and it is devoid of peaches!

Right, laundry doesn't sort itself

Rialentless · 16/06/2009 11:08

that'll be something nice to look forward to daisy glad Mr Daisy is well enough to be out of the house!

DH has had his stitches out this morning. Another day of him trying to track down wages today!

I am working at lunchtime

baggins had a crap night but seems much perkier today.

And ... we were ready for school so early this morning that we walked [shocked] the long way round

and I still lost 1lb despite my bender over-indulging on Friday and not being very good since (though if I stepped on the scales with the other foot first I'd lost 3lb) Am going tto try much hardernow as I'm not that impressed with what the SW website predicts I'll weigh by the wedding!

hope your scan goes well Natty.

Sputnik · 16/06/2009 11:11

Glad your DH is ok Daisy

Rialentless · 16/06/2009 11:17

are M&S doing the Dine in for £10 atm?

LittleMissNorty · 16/06/2009 11:19

Morning

Glad DH is ok Daisy.

Not sure the answer to that one Ria....Tesco's do a finest version for £9

Happy Birthday to Tallulah's DD

Sputnik · 16/06/2009 11:29

Yes good luck with the scan
Not mad to think of a course at all, sounds like a good idea, as long as you get DH on board with childcare.
