Glad you're feeling a bit more positive scorps, but don't let him off the hook yet! LOADS mroe grovelling needs to be done I reckon!

Oooooo I am SO excited about my London trip this weekend! Though am also quite sad about leaving Mol and worrying about how she will be without me. Sure will be fine but keep panicing that she will be traumatised forever. Is unlikely I admit though.

bunnyrabbit · 19/08/2009 14:46

Aw bless you Ellie. It's natural I'm afraid. We're programmed to worry! She'll be absolutely fine, but you will worry anyway .

So looking forward to seeing everyone, although I won't know who you are and I'll never remember who's DC belongs to who. Any chance we can all wear badges/labels with MN name, real name, and DC(s) name(s)?? I had a notoriously crap memory before I had the boys it's basically non existent now!

BR

EllieG · 19/08/2009 15:16

I will be the blonde lady standing around looking confused. I have to meet my sister at 1.30 does that give us enough time for lunch?

bunnyrabbit · 19/08/2009 15:51

Well I'll be there at 11 as I have to leave at 1 (we have guests coming at 3) so we'll be eating early together . You'll need to line your tummy if you're off on the lash!!

MistergodthisisSal · 19/08/2009 18:58

I'll be there for 11 too, so should give us a good chance to talk rubbish discuss important matters. I'm the big-bummed, black shoulder length hair one. Who's bringing babies? I think I'll leave R to spend the morning with dh, but is still in two minds, so not entirely sure yet.
Oh Ellie, she'll be fine!

Scorpio, I'm so glad for you re test results. It would probably be easier moving forward now. Ooh, and I'm SO excited for you for your spa day! Bet you can't wait!

KnitterInTheNW · 19/08/2009 21:56

I'll be there a bit before 11 hopefully, our train gets into Euston at 10:12 (delays permitting!)

I'll be the shoulder length brown haired one with a super cute boy in a blue stroller! (Or the shoulder length brown haired one running round after a super cute boy because he's not in his buggy...)

I have Ellie's, Sal's and MHAH's mobile numbers, do I need anyone elses?

OP posts:
bunnyrabbit · 20/08/2009 16:13

Not sure I'll get time to facebook before Saturday (out tonight and tomorrow night) but if I do I'll send you my number.

Once again, please please excuse me for not knowing anyone's names, or their DCs or their history or anything really except possibly my own name.. possibly!

BR

KnitterInTheNW · 20/08/2009 16:43

I don't think we're FB friends BR?

email me on katie wignall (at) hotmail (dot) com without the apaces.

VeeEsss · 20/08/2009 18:39

Argh. I have a panda with flipping swine flu.

Glad you had a fab time at Pearl jam sal

Also glad you're feeling more positive Scorp, you know where I am if you ever want to rant.

MistergodthisisSal · 20/08/2009 19:42

Oh dear VeeEss!!! Hope you and poor Panda are coping ok. Anyone else in the family affected? And do you all have to stay in now, or not anymore? x
PS: Thanks for the Pearl Jam clip - R loves seeing it on my phone, jumps up "dancing", it's hilarious! :D

Bunnyrabbit, don't worry, I can't remember my own name half the time!

I'm so glad it's almost weekend - busy week here.

Ooh ooh, this is exciting (well, in my boring week anyway) - I went to a power plate class at lunch. Was fun, all those wobbly bits, hehe. )

EllieG · 20/08/2009 21:32

Oh poor Panda! Hope he is better soon VS, have a most unMNetty hug from me ((()))

Right, I will be there for 11. I know sal and knitter and MHAH's names but I have forgotten ladybee's RL name and never knew BR's so we have to do that straight away or I will keep calling you your MN names and be embarrassed. I am of course easy, being Ellie everywhere as am rather unimaginative

sal - you won't have a big bottom cos you are losing weight at a ferocious rate and doing power plate classes in your lunch hour, which I am SO impressed about.

scorps - enjoy your spa day!

Off on early flight tomorrow so no MN - see some of you sat! Woo! (and the rest of you next week)

MistergodthisisSal · 20/08/2009 22:13

Have a good flight, Ellie. Can't wait to see you.

I'm more than happy to go under just Sal (some friends call me that anyway), so 2 names easy to remember already!

Hmm, ate loads of bread and half a Camembert, so I think it's safe to say diet's slightly derailed tonight...

Denny185 · 20/08/2009 22:37

You should all wear something red Have lots of fun I shall be thinking of you all whilst I am sitting on a Thomas train.

Scorps enjoy your spa trip you could do with a bit of r and r.

VE, hope panda recovering quickly from the swine flu.

LadyBee · 20/08/2009 23:50

yay, yay I have just been told that I can meet mystery hen thing an hour later so I can stay and chat for longer with you lot of reprobates. I'm going to ask DP whether he'd mind taking DS home if I brought him along for the meet.

I'll introduce myself with my RL name but it's unusual and most people forget it immediately so it's fine if you just want to call me B. Am very excited. One more day at work to get through...

MistergodthisisSal · 21/08/2009 00:14

Ah brilliant!

Soooo glad it's Friday tomorrow. Well, today then... Off to bed.

bunnyrabbit · 21/08/2009 11:00

1 day to go... actually quite nervous about meeting you all. My otherwise angelically behaved DS2 will probably turn into hell child over night and embarrass me, I can't manage my new haircut so will have that 'just dragged through the hedge backwards' look, I'll have a panic attack so will spend the whole time traipsing to the loo and back and not being able to eat, and I probably won't sleep so will look like an escapee from True Blood.

I should be easy to spot!!

I do get called bunny actually as it's how I refer to everyone else, as I can never remember names, even of people I've known for years.....

I think I might make myself a s/s so I can keep track of who's who!!

BR

KnitterInTheNW · 21/08/2009 11:15

lol BR!

I'll have been up since 6:30 and G would normally be ready for a nap by the time we meet, so he'll prob be devil child too. I'm actually not nervous of meeting you lot, only of the train/tube journeys with G. Gulp! Out of interest, does anyone know how much a one day zones 1 & 2 travel card costs these days?

OP posts:
SuzeMcG · 21/08/2009 12:53

I won't be able to make it tomorrow unfortunately but have a lovely time.

VeeEsss, hope your DS gets well soon.

Scorpio, enjoy the spa.

Sorry about your aunt, Knitter.

bunnyrabbit · 21/08/2009 13:09

Knitter, I think you're better off using an Oystercard if you have one...I have you in face book but with a different last name.. am I going mad?

Suze, we'll raise a glass in your honour.

VeeEss Missed that your Panda was poorly. Hope it's not too awful.

BR

KnitterInTheNW · 21/08/2009 13:17

Bizarrely, she's perked up a bit now!

Prognosis is still the same but she's eating a bit again and when mum & dad go to visit she's been chatty and recalling things they did together years and years ago! Great that at least she's a bit happier again, but odd as mum & dad went back home early at the beginning of the week because she wasn't expected to last the day...

OP posts:
bunnyrabbit · 21/08/2009 15:43

KITN, that is good news. Do you think you'll visit or leave it? COuld still be pretty distressing.

For all those coming to the meet up, please check your journey as there is 3 ton of engineering work this weekend and not all tube stations are pushchair friendly.

I've actually decided to take the bus from Liverpool street (well Moorgate actually) as I won't have to change and it's quicker than taking the tube and then walking from Westminster.

Journey Planner is good as you can state if you can use stairs/escalators of not and your preferred mode of transport, and the maximum you'd like to walk.

BR

KnitterInTheNW · 21/08/2009 17:39

Thanks for that, BR. Looks like we'll be ok, but if we're late that'll be why!

I'm bringing our sling aswell as the buggy for easier getting up and down escalators. Waterloo has lifts but Euston doesn't.

OP posts:
Scorps · 21/08/2009 18:47

I am of you all meeting up, and may never talk to you again ....though i cant do an Xmas meetup either as hopefully i will be birthing my dd2

DH has gone to get Zac, he is here for the next 2 weeks. DH is taking time off though to 'help', plus he will keep boys entertained anyway

Had nice afternoon at friends house and chips for tea and i am going away tomorrow, yes going away

TBH am worried about leaving DH alone; but if he does anything to me again then he will be a very foolish man. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!

Scorps · 21/08/2009 18:50

Is Maisie too twee to go with Millie (Mimi?). is it better/worse than Lacey?

DH hates Lacey but he knows he has no say this time. I shall call her Ermitrude if i like, as far as he knows

Also i require a middle name - 'normal' but not Rose/Grace. Is Lacey Jane/Jean silly?

KnitterInTheNW · 21/08/2009 19:24

I doubt your DH would have time to misbehave with 4 DCs, Scorps!

Personally I prefer Maisie to Lacey, but Jane would work as a middle name for either... I'm Katie Jane and your 2 names end in the same sound. I thought you wanted an initial that you haven't already got, though?
