sometimes she's distressed first...then she's all calm. sometimes the milk just pours out of her like she produces it..

and yes we're still bf... had a good few days and then tday she's back to chomping on her poor mother...

I've not even thought about periods! Too caught up in everything else... Heaven forbid I get one soon! If I do the gods and I are going to have a 'discussion'

i reckon i got a wee infection, would explain the pains...jeez its one thing after another!

Bronze - that never stops me

Lauren - if you think possible water infection, off to the doctor with you! If it is presenting with loin pain (as opposed to just burning when peeing), it could be right up in your kidneys, not just a straightforwards lower-down cystitis!

I've had a million things wrong with me too Lauren... I too swear it's never ending, so you have my empathy...and I think I should get my own personal room at the surgery.

I've got this lovely new perfume ladies... called 'Eau du curdled milk' it's the newest highend perfume...very exclusive range and difficult to purchase.

I have that perfume too, ladies, it is being worn here in the bobo heaven that is the Luberon.
Along with clothing artistically splattered with white abstract motifs, tending to the cream/yellow in places.

Lauren, I didn't get my periods back till after I stopped BFing DS1 (13 mths). It was a nasty return to reality...

Well I'm off to the supermarket to pick up some groceries for entertaining my sister and her lo ...anyone need anything?

Oh and if anyone has any ideas how to fix my stereo...it seems to issue strange crying/screaming sounds every 2-3 hours no matter what cd I put in or what channel I have it on... I would be very appreciative

wow auldalliance - am very of you not getting your periods back till then - was annoyed to get them back at 6 weeks last time. hope it'll be longer this time.

ds1 is back. thomas the tank engine is on the telly - things are back to normal

right i might go a bit TMI here but you guys know better than me, juw am a bit worried cos it is like a dull pain where id imagine my right ovary to be...? and when i wee it doesnt hurt til the end of the wee i feel like i should be still weeing and it hurts then, not a stinging just a pain. my descriptions are terrible lol!

this is lauren btw, name changed finally, to what dp calls me now i have mountains instead of boobs haha!

bleu could do with more breast pads - can never have too many breast pads!

Mine are just hideously large ghostly white withered wineskin looking bags... they do not make me feel the least bit sexy (and I was hping for some lovely plump jugs to make up for the 'firey tatoo' I have around my navel)

oh breast pads! I almost forgot

Hi everyone

I am gutted because breastfeeding has not worked out this time. This is very hard for me because I breast fed my older girls with no problems but this baby is just different. She is small and seems to find it tiring. If I don't stay on her case she will sleep for hours and hours without feeding. I have tried loads of techniques, have had loads of support but it just isn't working out.

Unless I pump all day long I am not going to be able to feed her my milk in a bottle all the time, although I'm doing that as much as I can. However, today she has gained a much needed 9 ounces and I guess I should be happy about that.

But I am finding the whole formula thing very hard to swallow The ants in the kitchen have now migrated upstairs to feast upon the formula-vomit encrusted bibs!

Can anyone tell me the answer to this question(s)

• Do we really have to make up each individual feed as we go along?

• At what temperature are we supposed to add the powder to the water?? Today the HV was saying I probably need a thermometer - sod that!!

Any advice?

Looby - any other symptoms? Have you got increased urge to pee, or sense of having to rush to do it? Have you got a temperature? Any discharge?

Possibly it is just period pains coming - I'm sure MW said 21 days post delivery is the earliest point at which it could happen. Keep an eye on it though - if in doubt see GP and take a pot of wee along!

Juw - no discharge or temperature, bad backache last night and this morning though, and i was freezing cold this morning couldnt get warm til i had some painkillers, my backache is only in one side though, but i did have epidural and i know a symptom can be backache after, feel like i need a wee all the time then when i get there i dont..
