Custard, always custard!

We are actually having steak for dinner, thanks to your earlier ramblings, Juwesm

Orbit took two naps upstairs today, including one that over two hours long! This is progress.

Bedtime needs work, he's currently reclining on Daddy and just about dozing off.

Evening all - can I join you? I had a baby in April too - was supposed to be March but he decided April was a much better month to be born in!

So see we are starting as we mean to go on - smutt on the 4th post!

Feels a bit strange int he post natal house You'd think with all the decorating I'd welcome change but I DON'T LIKE IT!!! I'm whooooping inside - honest!!

I think this post will be a turning point for me - yes ladies, the DIY is DONE - dining room is finished, completely! Not even a single curtain to hang, carpets are all clean and my house is back to normal - Yay!! Do you think I can last a whole thread with our decorating a room in my house???

Can I join? I had a baby in April too I say 'baby', I mean a huge milk disposal unit with creases of fat everywhere, but it's bloody gorgeous when it's not screaming or pooing, so I let it be called a baby. Even though I'm sure they're meant to sleep sometimes to fully qualify

Ju, your little clear up of the last antenatal thread made me quite emotional. I blame exhaustion & a mild hangover (oh yes! ) because I'm sure I can't be so daft of my own accord

Thanks for the thread, Puzzle Love the title.

The best thing about soapy willies in the shower is suddenly moving out of the way of the jet of water & letting his hit the poor, sensitive thing

Well done BB! You must be so relieved! (& Kara totally had the right idea - it just wouldn't be the same here without you. Plus it'd be wrong to deny your common July shagging )

Schulte · 17/05/2009 10:05

Morning.

SpringySponge · 17/05/2009 10:06

Guten Morgen, Schulte! How are you?

BabyBolat · 17/05/2009 10:46

Ooooh thanks Nutts!

Juwesm · 17/05/2009 10:53

Hola!

Hey Schulte, did you have a better night last night?

BB - I was going to say well done for finishing the DIY, but you appear to have found some more already! So well done so far and yay for big family dinner. Was it a nice evening?

Springy? Drinking?

Juwesm · 17/05/2009 10:54

("A handbag?")

BabyBolat · 17/05/2009 11:00

Juw, I haven't found ANY - believe me I am not encouraging this!!

Yeah dinner was good although mostly getting presents from people was the best bit - My sis went to New York and I had placed orders for ridiculously expensive toys from FAO Swarz including this which he is too small for at the mo but I LOVE! Can't wait for him to be big enough to play with it! He also got lots of clothes and bless my dad he drove all the way up to edinburgh to buy a big oversized cuddly toy that we saw when I was pregnant but never got! LOVE HIM!

What'e everyone up to today? I am off to do food shopping ina bit - any orders for our new post-natal home?

LOL Karahan woke up from his sleep for a mini milk fix and has gone to sleep half sucking his thumb with a trail of milk down his chin - I am almost crying with his cuteness!

Schulte · 17/05/2009 11:26

Hazel slept ALL night with just one feed at 4am! And I am back in my jeans! Life is wonderful today

(whispers) But I am sure it was just a one off and we have plenty more bad nights ahead of us...

Juwesm · 17/05/2009 11:45

BB - Hooray for presents! I know it's the thought that counts and everything, but I don't half love the presents too! Plus, it turns out that people buying presents for H makes me just as happy as presents for me! That dinosaur is sooooo cool! I love it. And how lovely of your Dad - what a great Granddad!

Today I plan to sit on sofa most of the day being milked. Later we are popping over to FIL's as DH needs to sign some paperwork regarding his GM's will. Food shopping would be more fun.

Schulte - so pleased you had a good night It does indeed make the world a better place.

BabyBolat · 17/05/2009 13:16

I know juw - tis strange because I LOVE presents and k's presents do make me happy - in fact when work asked me what present i wanted for myself i said nothing - spend it all on k - now if you knew me that is something that would never ever happen!

He did indeed earn some good grandasd points - tis a 6 hour drive!!!

yay schultes - great day!!!

we just did a MAHUSSIVE shop so going to spend the day curled up on the sofa with dh and ds playing, milking and sleeping - in fact dh has just made tea (I know this is his sweetnert as he has left the 50 bags of shopping on the kitchen floor for me to put away !

I've decided we need stairs to our attic the amount of time I seem to spend climbing up and down into it.

Its been peeing it down today so I havnt got any more of the garden done humph so I've been sorting but you know when you have so much crap to get through it just feels chaotic... thats me today an dmy head and back hurt

Schulte · 17/05/2009 16:36

Peeing it down here today too but dh has cabin fever so must put wellies on now and traipse down to river. Boo.

H had her first bottle of ebm today. Do you think it's okay to wash her bottles and teats in the dishwasher?

Springy how did you manage to get a hangover?

Hello. Can I join? I too had a baby in April, and he seems to have had about 3 hours' sleep since then. Thank god for vibrating chairs, that's all I can say.

Meant to name change ... nice geraniums by the way.

Now ladies, I have been a bit quiet, and between ourselves, I wonder if this is because I am getting PND. But the big question is, can I be bothered to confess this to the HV on Tuesday, bearing in mind all that will be done is Prozac being waved in front of me, which I won't take?? Nor do I plan on going to any daft NHS counsellors who don't know me and who are likely to be highly patronising (a la Springy's DH). Plus I suppose I am made of quite strong stuff underneath, and imagine it will just pass after some months? Your thoughts please?
