Boff - re: PND.

I had it with DS. I ended up pretending I was ok until he was about 6 months. then i talked to my HV (who is useless and made me feel worse) and finally went to the GP. I was reluctant to take ADs so he put me in for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. the psych nurse was worse than useless but i'm sure if you had someone good it would help.
Eventually i went on ADs and that helped. and there are some you can take while BFing.

first thing you need to do though is get your thyroid checked. if it;s out of whack it can make you feel low as well.

please don't let it go too far or for too long. and remember that we are all here for you. xx

lauren - think the periods thing is very unpredictable. if you are bfeeding - a lot of people dont get them back till about 4 or 5 months but i got them after about 6 weeks with ds1. if you are not bf - presumably can be anytime

hi purplemonkey - the rain here was pretty impressive for a while - whole house went dark.

The measuring baby's length thing... IMO these measurements are random at best and have an error margin of plus/minus 5cms. DD1 was measured at birth - 54cms. Then at a few days old - 52cms. Then at 3 wks old she fitted comfortably into a babygro that was 49cms long. So unless she shrank for the first few days of her life, all those measurements were completely made up.

I think it's safe to say all these babies are approximately half a metre long!

I had Edmund in April, but never posted on any of the AN threads because I was just too stressed out and low with the pregnancy. Stupid, I know.

Can't believe some of you are into pre-preg clothing already - I am . I can just about squeeze into the massive heifer clothing I bought when I was bloated and sick at 6 weeks pg.

I just love watching Hugo trying to wake up! It is soooooo funny. It takes him about 10 minutes, and all the while he's streeeeeetching his arms and legs, pulling fabulous faces and making a series of cute little squeaks! It is such hard work for him, poor Little Frog!

juw -snap. I am doing exactly the same - watching Angus struggle to waken up. Its a hard life being a baby .

Much as I am missing ds1 today, I must admit its nice to get some time to do kilt things, and watch some telly and fill in child benefit forms etc etc.

think Angus sleeps more than Struan ever did. Maybe its a protection thing - Struan does tend to slightly smother him with kisses (and the occasional attempt to stand on his head etc).

Conker - is that you newly arrived on the FB group?

Aaah at least your babies wake up. Hazel has been asleep again for the last few hours. No amount of tickling her, singing loud and out of tune, having the radio on etc. seems to help. I also think she sleeps more than DD1 ever did!

maybe we should just enjoy it schulte - in a few weeks time we'll probably be wishing the sleeping babies would return when we run out of things to entertain a lo with.

HAVE THE WORST PERIOD PAIN (and no period) and I Don't like it!

So SIL is preggy (due Dec) and when she told me all I could do was wince... very bad of me I know... Bad bleu bad
In the mean time Dh has been trying hard to find a job (which is why I've no been around as he's got a monopoly on the computer right now).
Meg has begun drooling like crazy and throws up quite often... not sure what to do about the latter. But she's smiling and laughing now so things don't seem so bad though my nips are still not getting better.
Going to catch up.

Bleu - good to see you! Glad to hear Meg is cheering up but sorry to hear about the nips. Are you still bf? You stalwart woman!
Veronica pukes a lot too, we have the washing machine on ALL THE TIME. Till recently it did not seem to make her uncomfortable, but now something is. Does Meg puke insouciantly or with distress?

BB thats why i asked about periods cos i keep gettin really bad period pains, yet no blood, its only been 3week and im BF so doubt id have one yet, ooh well i feel atm like my body will never be mine again, maternity clothes too big, pre pg clothes too small, just a saggy mess atm olliepop is feeding for england today, worried my milk production wont keep up lol!!
