Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

LOL Juwesm . Of course you even know the right antibiotics to send across.

Lauren, the antibiotics will sort you out in no time, and hope you feel a lot better soon.

Cheers Auld, however I never said I don't like sweet things, it's just that I don't usually seem to want to eat them in the same quantities as other people (apart from virtual chocolate). I like things like olives more, so yummy and thank you.

Next time I go down the old school, will all the Fanjo Warriors come with me, please, in a Valkyrie-like buggy formation, and stand around joking and laughing and having a good time with me? We can then time how long it takes for the two queen bees at the root of all the school gate politics to sidle across thinking they are missing out on something. Juwesm can supply the gas and air!!

I love you lot, you always cheer me up. xx

BTW it is not all bad, AP has without prompting scrubbed the oven so it shines, done all the washing and ironing, and is about to plant up my pots for me . I know we've had our moments but now she's actually getting good at her job, I think I will miss her when she goes (on Wednesday)!!

or mix it up with a little ebm before you syringe it into the side of his mouth

mrsgboring · 22/05/2009 14:22

Looby, you've probably gone by now, but just wanted to say look after yourself and get yourself better.

Nutty - you're doing far better than me - I've yelled at DS1 about a million times and feel like a right cow most of the time.

Boff, sorry about the cows at the school gate. I would gladly join an April mums posse next time you go down there (though you can have all the useless fresh air G&A as it's never done anything for me )

PuzzleRocks · 22/05/2009 14:22

Carameli - Great post juxtaposition. Sounds like you are doing sambuca shots.

Talking of booze I may down some dutch courage this weekend and jump my husband. I'm so nervous it's ridiculous.

Juwesm · 22/05/2009 14:25

Hi Carameli - not really sure about the osteopath. We first went when he was just over a week old, as his head was obviously so squashed by the forceps. He was having trouble feeding at first, and that has improved, but that could well just be practice. We haven't really had any problems with colic , and that could be down to the osteopathy, or he could just be non-colicky. But I have only heard good stuff about it, so it's worth a go.

Nutty - Stokke assembled and well. He'd still rather be carried though!

SpringySponge · 22/05/2009 14:25

Will do a quick catch up, but am one-handed & it's been a while!

WRT Sunday's hangover (love the Importance reference, Ju ), we played our annual Eurovision drinking game & George was given expressed bottles so I could enjoy my lovely Russian vodka guilt-free.

Boff, I'm loving the new name. that PND may be a concern - it's not surprising though, all things considered. I have nothing useful to add, but I hope you're feeling okay xx Ignore the bitches at the school - they're not worth your time. I know that doesn't really help, but at least we love you enough for them all

(What would we do without NL? )

I am so that some of you have babies who struggle to wake up. George struggles to stay asleep

Welcome MrsG Sorry that you had such a stressful pregnancy, but it's so good that it's all worked out in the end

WRT periods - I keep thinking that I've got mine back, but I'm not sure. I'm bleeding still / again & George is 6 weeks tomorrow. It's hard to know what's going on. Either way, I'm unimpressed.

We have lots of sick & dribble here, too. But - joy of joys! - George has finally started taking his dummy. I think part of the problem has been that when he's been crying I've been sticking him straight on the boob & his tummy's become too full. Hopefully the dummy will reduce that now.

Oh, gosh Nutty You're fabulous.First the grape, now this I love the idea of pubic dye - it's tempting to invest & not warn DH

BB, I would love sex every day. I'm lucky if I get it twice a week. I suppose I 'should be grateful'

Hahaha, Nutty - love the cow outfit

Ginger, the plumbing stuff sounds like a nightmare No wonder you're angry.

Love that website, Puzzle. Bertram isn't the only unusual character

Haha, when I'm 50, George will be 30

trist, you sound so positive - I'm in awe. Well done you xx

Nutty! You MUST take care of yourself. You have to eat. & you have to make your DH look after you a little bit. I can totally sympathise with the car stuff (far more than I'd like) & know how infuriating that sort of waste of money is - especially when it's so easily avoided. & Phoenix knows that you love her & you're not buying her off at all. You show that in lots of ways - little material treats are just an added bonus at the moment, whilst things are still unsettled.

Sorry to hear about the infection, Looby Must be awful. At least the drip will clear it up quickly.

Cor, olives again. Yum.

Right, this has already taken about 4 hours. I have a lot more to say, but need to go & have a shower whilst I have half a chance! Will try to do another brief post later. Take care xxx

PuzzleRocks · 22/05/2009 14:26

Boff - I'll gladly join you for the school run

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 22/05/2009 14:45

Loobs ((hugs)) the hospital will fix you right up and you can get out and about as soon as you're better - is DP on his way to meet you?

Nutty ((hugs)) you Ok lovely? Tell DH to stop being a tool! Don't worry about pheonix, she loves her mummy massively and will understand - you will have a lovely time at the weekend! Don't worry about buying her off, if I could please K with presents and money I would be broke!

Juw, thanks for the scaffolding and thanks for cheering us all up

Boff I'll be there, but I warn you I'm not very subtle, I'd probably end up barging past them and giving them evils or making inappropriate comments loud enough for them to hear so I might not be very popular!!

I feel really bad today, just not coping very well, K isn't even being that bad but I am just losing my patience with him for no reason. Have massive cabin fever (DH has had the car all week - we would buy a second one if there was anywhere to park it! - note to self next house must have garage and drive!) anyway there has been lots of tears (from us both) and am making DH come home from work to just make me feel less lonely x

BabyBolat · 22/05/2009 15:14

Yaaaaaaay SPRINGY!!! and yay for dummy - that makes a lot of sense re full tummy and then being uncomfy but yay that is sorted!

mathshoneybunny27 · 22/05/2009 15:26

Boff I'm right behind you. Looking sexy and all. (albeit covered in puke, natually)

BabyBolat · 22/05/2009 16:20

Kara just had his first little giggle (was for DH obviously as I am a mardy cow today but he did a little giggle!!!)

bronze · 22/05/2009 16:23

DH is supposed to be out tomorrow nigth hes now announced hes not coming home today either as hes had a bad day and wants to be able to have a drink

arseholes leaving me with them all on my own again. apparently I wont mind as it means I'll be able to cosleep with Isaac in our bed so it make smy life easier? HE forgot to mention that I'll have to cook and sort out all the kids on myown so I did as Im pissed of so he hung up on me. Im not happy

BabyBolat · 22/05/2009 16:47

Oooh Bronze - that is outrageous!!! You are right to be pissed off!!

Juwesm · 22/05/2009 17:12

Bronze -

mrsgboring · 22/05/2009 17:41

Definite twattish behaviour from your DH, bronze.

BB am sooo jealous of your baby giggles. I am having flashbacks to when DS1 hadn't smiled by six weeks and I was sooo stressed. Can't believe I'm being that stupid again, especially when E is only four weeks and not supposed to smile yet.

Springy, that is an impressive post for one handed and in between baby wrangling.

mrsgboring · 22/05/2009 17:44

BB I hope you're feeling better. Pants days are really pants with a tiny baby aren't they? I must admit I'm so needy and lonely I can't sit and BF for five minutes without the telly on to distract me. You'd think I'd want to talk to my son or something, wouldn't you?

Anyway, you're not alone. It's Friiiiidayyyyyy - is your DH home for the BH weekend?

bronze · 22/05/2009 17:59

all I can say is he better be back by monday. Its our seven year anniversary
