you're not even allowed to walk on that, just look at it with big mooney loving eyes!

VG thats the very reason we got rid of the chicco thing we had and went with the Ikea antillop, for £12 its magic, easy to clean and doesn't break your heart parting with the cash

I was going to chime in on the Hummingbird Cafe being nice but Dizzy after your explanation of the term in your region...I'd say DIZZY BIRDS CAFE instead.

On the topic of too many prams: The "boot" area in my truck is really really big, right Sazzles, BUT there's barely room for groceries because I have the umbrella stroller, the jogger stroller and the tandem stroller piled in there. I'm always prepared!

As our holiday long weekend comes to a close I must say I'm exhausted. DH went to friends with me and dcs today because I didn't want to exert the energy. I've been in and out of bed for the past 36 hours. It's like my body is requiring me to REST.

Going back to bed in a moment. Wishing all of you a good rest too.

NIGHT

Expectant · 26/05/2009 03:11

Trying to catch up.

Dizzy am sure you can rely on the August ladies to help you out with a suitable name. Hope presentation goes well.

TS glad you enjoyed your long weekend.

DS has a throat infection. Was really out of sorts yesterday - wouldn't eat or bf and had a bit of a temperature which I put down to teething. But he was really unhappy in the evening so we took him to the doctors. Doc looked at his throat and it is covered in little white ulcers - poor thing. A bit of a bad night last night as he really didn't want to settle and was very restless and obviously in pain. Seemed a bit brighter this morning and managed a weetabix and a yoghurt for breakfast.

Miamla · 26/05/2009 06:26

moring all. 3h2SSSS`AQQQ
haven't caught qup, ds helpi3ng me and his spe3lling is even worse than bmvvv mine
off to do some reading

Miamla · 26/05/2009 06:30

i'm catching up a page at a time so..

hotpot yes! i stuck it on ebay and it went for £80! She drove almost 400 miles to collect it and get it home! madness!
well done on your driving

Miamla · 26/05/2009 06:56

poor miniExpectant, hope he conitues to improve

DS was awake for the day again at 6am
BUT.... he spent all night in his cot!!! hurrah! first time since he was really little!
He finally went to sleep at 9pm (after taking half a bottle fo ebm), woke for a v quick cuddle at 9.45, woke for 2nd half of bottle at 10.15. slept then til 3!!! when i fed him back to sleep and then awake at 6

i'm astounded and will be v happy if every night could be like that for a little while

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 26/05/2009 07:25

expectant Hi, thats sounds awful on his throat.Glad he has managed some breakfast, hope he his fully recovered soon.

miamla yeah for all night in the cot thats great.I am still amazed at the distance the green house winner travelled. I was telling my dad about it the other week (told him to put his on ebay and not bin it) but I thought it was 100 miles so at 400

Sorry vanished last night MN wouldnt load up and curser pad was sticking again so turned off. DH came down at 10 the wine was vile so went to bed.

Re pushchair I am not sure yet. Not really fond of phil&ted but it is very very light and great to push, I tried the Jane powertwin in shitecare last week and struggled to push. The farking thing had a flat so how the hell was I supposed to know if it was heavy or not???!!!
the muppet in shop said after bribing dd to get in and unravelling ds from the moby 'oh yes it wont help really will it'No it wont you fecking moron.
So still looking and thinking

alittlebitshy · 26/05/2009 07:56

no1 lol at the flat tyre in shitecare!
numpties.

miamla yay for all night in cot and a better night.

sazzles yay or spare high chairs. we have a spare in that our travel one comes out as a spare but a proper one must be great when someone is visiting.

cyteen can't believe your highchair went mildewy already. I agree that John Lewis really ought to and probably will be good at replacing it.

vg what highchair have you got? ours is a chicco (dd had one but a bigger moreexpensive different one but it was minging by the end so not reusable.) ds's is pretty grubby round the edges already. the plastic frame and the wipe clean seat are fine but the fabric weaving on the edges is stained. grr.

Miamla · 26/05/2009 08:38

no1 was about 200 miles each way! your dad should definitely not bin his! not only will he get some money for it but, someone will dismantle it for him as well!

albs i can't understand how your DD's highchair wasn't reusable...she's such a tidy eater
