alittlebitshy · 21/05/2009 13:23

whaoh - noone here.

Miamla · 21/05/2009 15:19

i'm here

lol vg that site is dangerous! i've just found another one i like and its only $530
so you reckon making a home movie would be a good idea? i wasn't sure that visitors would be interested but must be true if you said it!

albs did you? wow! how freaky, it really is a small world!
DS has deigned himself to eat some flapjack today! Ooooh and he's done loads more steps today!

hi dizz bye dizz
forgot to tell you that'd i've been feeling you again, sorry i didn't mention it before. very rude of me!

LoveBuckets · 21/05/2009 16:35

Dizzy Why don't you just say you've decided to keep it all as you're suddenly broody? Then sell it after they've bought their own and say Jack's put his foot down on #4. They'd probably be happy to buy their own stuff anyway, prices have gone down ridiculously in the last 7yrs after all.

Hotter Thing about being a mum is that having a pea under your mattress is a very real possibility.

MIamla Glad you got the attention you need, fingers crossed there's nothing too horrid afoot for you.

On that subject I can report success in bullying the nice old GP into referring me for thyroid appt with private endocrinologist. Just want to eliminate thyroid from my enquiries as I don't want to be sat here moaning the same moans in 6m.

Big up to my man DS1 who wore pants to pre-school today and managed not to wee in them til 3.30 on DD's schoolrun! Suspiciously no sign of poo yet today...

LoveBuckets · 21/05/2009 16:50

V excited about trip to Bristol tomorrow, am probably most excited about seeing the Clifton Suspension Bridge in real life. And the BIG box of sushi I've bought. Oh and meeting up with Oops, Sazzles and Poppy yadayadayada. Might even try to unclench my fingers from the sushi box and offer it round...

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 21/05/2009 16:53

No time to catch up properly again, have been readin since page 8
Thinking of sazzles today.
New hair pics on FB will post back proper later

Steaknife · 21/05/2009 17:52

Blimey there is so much I've missed.

Buckets aren't you excited to meet me and Izzy too?

Right Tesco calleth. ooh I know the sites to see!

pertelote · 21/05/2009 17:58

Hi No1, nice hair!

Also sending thoughts to Sazzles - hope the day has been as celebratory as you hoped. Bound to have been difficult too though so .

Hi Buckets, DD sends some enthusiastic though not always precise hand-clapping to your DS for his achievements in pants!

Miamla and ALBS well I never, you know what, I did something very similar yesterday too! I had a great time, fab food and the cutest babies... hope you did too

Hullo everyone else. And in case I don't get back on later, you Bristolling ladies have fun tomorrow...

arrrgh, wrote a big long post and mn broke when I went to post it! Bugger, can't remember what I wrote now...

midlanders and northeners fancy a meetup? You could of course come to my house but that would be selfish of me (honest though, you could!) Where and when shall we convene?

And yes, I think I'm knackered due to the fact that for the past 14 months I have not had a single full nights sleep . I know I'm not alone in that but no bloody wonder I'm so tired!!

CaptainCaveman · 21/05/2009 21:05

No1 your hair looks fabbo dahhhling. I can hear it swishing from here!

CaptainCaveman · 21/05/2009 21:07

miamla I'm always stunned at how different babies are in their development. How thrilling for your little man to be walking . Oliver is commando crawling at present. It takes him a loooonnng time to get anywhere but he can definately move!

CaptainCaveman · 21/05/2009 21:09

buckets a virtual high five for your clever ds1! Yay

Ladies, wine oclock has arrived and I'm off downstairs to enjoy a glass of the white stuff .
DAY OFF TOMORROW hooray! Lots of mning housework to do

hotterpotter · 21/05/2009 21:15

Yay for wine o'clock CC . I was getting all excited yesterday thinking wine o'clock was today but I had got my days muddled and have to wait until tomorrow

NO1 and I were wondering whether to have a meet up in Sheffield - it's about an hour by train from my house and not too far from you and Cyteen if she's up for it too. I did suggest a meet tomorrow to take away the pain of the Bristol meet but I don't think anyone else noticed, and it's too late now . If no-one minds an extra 3 year old DD I could do any day not next week but the week after as half term is two weeks in Wakey

hotterpotter · 21/05/2009 21:22

Sazzles glad today went OK, and you have tomorrow to look forward to now

Buckets hope you get to see the bridge. Had a shag once on the hill overlooking the bridge, after a party and I was v drunk just as we'd finished they turned all the lights off!

Whereabouts are you off for your meet then?

No1 your hair looks beatiful you are very brave to get it such a strong colour but totally justified

LOL Miamla ALBS and Pertelote at your secret meet sounds like you had a lovely time.

Oops I hope you have managed a nap today

oopsacoconut · 21/05/2009 21:25

Hi All

A lovely sunny day here, DD and I went to the opening of our Children's Centre playground for the free cake.

I think the last pice of DD's top tooth was coming through so it must have hurt her last night. She is now sleeping hopefully for a good while.

DH is pissy tonight as he came home and told me he has the day off tomorrow and then got stroppy when I said I had plans

Hi CC

Hi HP

hotterpotter · 21/05/2009 21:30

Oops you will have to give him a big list of chores that are best tackled in a child-free manner then you and DD can bugger off out for the day

DH and I have been snippy on and off all day too . DD had total meltdown tantrum this morning which did not get us off to the best start, especially as I was trying (and failed) to put DS down for his nap. Between 7am and 8pm he only slept for one hour in his pushchair 1-2pm crikey I hope he makes up for it tonight

oopsacoconut · 21/05/2009 21:37

I'm off to bed.

Night All

See some of you in the morning

hotterpotter · 21/05/2009 21:39

I've been driving again today, have been doing right-turns it's fab I am really enjoying it, and after only £96 worth of lessons I'm starting to get the hang of it Just don't ask about today's attempt at a 3-point turn [shakes][weeps]

hotterpotter · 21/05/2009 21:40

Night Oops have fun tomorrow

TwilightSurfer · 21/05/2009 21:40

Quick HI! Guest arriving any second. All the food is prepared aside from heating up the shells and cooking the enchiladas. Girls napped together allowing me time to whip it all into shape.

Wishing all a very very very very good night.

Thanks all for compliments on hair

hotter &cc I would be up for a meet where ever. I could have done tomorow but my sister just text and asked me to go to Leeds with her for my expert opinion on a horse.
I go away on the 1st of June for a week so will have to sort something...... great news on driving front btw. You will get there though.
