dizzydixies · 16/05/2009 21:17

oh thats good, I have to admit Dylan is my easiest in terms of putting down BUT I suppose she's had no choice as once she's down I'm dealing with the other two!

hark at you as well with your sleb friends - am feeling positively peasant like tonight

what on earth are the German blokes trousers all about?!? they're ridiclious

LoveBuckets · 16/05/2009 21:32

PMSL I'm in loooooove with the Norwegian entry, bonkers! So hammy and those 2 backing singers accidentally slipped through from 1979's Eurovision - it's got to win!

LoveBuckets · 16/05/2009 21:35

But then again, the Ukraine has Pete Burns doing Madonna...

dizzydixies · 16/05/2009 21:47

buckets, come over to the Eurovision thread, its hysterical

dizzydixies · 16/05/2009 22:01

Sazz just texted me from her party - she wants to pledge her allegiance to Moldova

oopsacoconut · 16/05/2009 22:34

Sazzles can't live without us - she feels she needs to stay in touch even though she is out having a RL!

dizzydixies · 16/05/2009 22:36

she says she's loosing but that the sea breezes and prospect of a lie in are easing her pain - have told her she's on breakfast duty in the morning - apparently she's getting in the caterers!!!

TwilightSurfer · 17/05/2009 00:25

Catered breakfast. I'M HERE! Oh I can see the spread now. Pastries and egss and juices galor.

I just ate dinner so not sure why the googly-eyes over breakfast.

Buckets I really like the first band.

Oops as for Eurovision...thank you for the info. We've got the American Idol show and Dancing with the Stars...all very similar I'm sure. I'm not one to watch though.

hotterpotter · 17/05/2009 07:15

Oh I am sick of this DS awake at 4 and 6 then 6.20 and at 6.30 he started babababa-ing and that means no chance of going back to sleep so here we are and it's only 7. I'm tired

Hurry up caterers, I need pastries

Sounds like you all had fun with Eurovision last night Loved it as a girl- I used to tape the songs (with my tape recorder on the floor in front of the telly!)and then spend weeks 'singing' along. My mum must have loved that

Miamla · 17/05/2009 08:17

yeah, where are these caterers sazz promised! i'm hungry and tired so need cake and coffee!

actually, not meant to be on here, off out to become a godmum again today

ds crying...that's my cue to go

see you all later

oopsacoconut · 17/05/2009 08:18

Morning HP - DD was awake at 1, 3.15, 5 when she babb;led and sang and eventusally I fed her to sleep and she woke at 6.15, 6.30, 7 when I gave her a couple of toys and rolled over and hoped she didn't fall off the bed {bad mummy] at 7.15 she did the biggest poo and now we are up and she is playing on the floor I am waiting for Costa to open as I need a very very big latte and a chocolate twist! DH of course sleeping like a log in the spare room.

Eurovision was great - DH in one ear and MN in the other. A Hobbit won .

I only dicovered Eurovision when I moved here and was in shock that a whole continent would try to host the tackiest singing competition.

oopsacoconut · 17/05/2009 08:18

Hi Miamla - have a good day.

Miamla · 17/05/2009 08:22

lol hotpot if only you still had the tapes! i'll bet your mum would love a reminder!

Miamla · 17/05/2009 08:25

i was cheering on azibijuan last night. norway was all a bit twee for my liking!

hi oops, i'm back!

just woke dp up and said we need to leave in an hour. he said ok and snuggled down back into bed. told him i needed his help with ds and he's "with me in spirit" lol

oopsacoconut · 17/05/2009 08:31

Sound a bit like my DH - DD yelled at the lump in that spare bed as we walked past and he said 'Hi Babe, Hi Beanie, I just need 5 more mins' He has weeks of uninterupted sleep.

We have RAIn , rain and more rain here today so no trip to the Zoo

alittlebitshy · 17/05/2009 10:01

Where are those caterers then? I've had to succumb to hula hoops left over from the party (andmimla saw the tub of left over biccies so i'll be on those in a min .)

Party went really well. We think it was our best yet. we had about 26 kiddies -no, more actually as there were a few siblings - and it was less chaotic than bigger ones we've had. excellent. we did all party games and a craft and i think they loved it. miamla said she heard some muttering about lack of party bags but tough. they made a snow globe and took that home.

hotterpotter · 17/05/2009 10:40

Have given up waiting for professional brekker and cooked my second one () myself. Crumpets earlier followed by sausage dippy egg and toast, yum. going to get some coffee now and then think I will feel human again

ALBS I'm glad you had such a good party for DD . Don't listen to party bag whisperers, they are the devil's work. My best friend does party bags even for little parties at home - DS even got one for her DD's 2nd birthday last month although not so bad for me as I got to eat the freddo

hotterpotter · 17/05/2009 10:44

Oops sorry I moaned, your night sounds worse than mine . Hope the Costa coffee and choc twist has cheered you up. You'll have to send the bill to Sazzles, honestly you just can't trust some folk

Anyone know how to reattach a caps lock key? DS has snapped it off the laptop [should have been keeping an eye on him]

hotterpotter · 17/05/2009 10:49

Miamla I hope you have a lovely day

Right, off to get that coffee and tidy up a bit while DS is asleep and DD and DH have taken the dog out for a walk. Stupid dog belongs to MIL who has gone to Italy on holiday. She (dog not MIL) is useless, she won't fetch a ball or a stick, leaves hair all over the place, and won't even eat all the crumbs the DC scatter all around

Really going now...

oopsacoconut · 17/05/2009 11:36

HP - Don't worry. ATM I feel all I do is complain about sleep! She just napped and now DH is finally up and we are off out to somewhere (where I have no idea but I need to get out) Are you sure the dog is not a cat? Sounds just like our cat.

alittlebitshy · 17/05/2009 13:28

Am sitting in the car outside the house of a school friend of dd's party. Ds is asleep and there is nothing on this earth that will make me take him in there until he's had a good 40 mins or wakes up himself. He normally has up to a couple of hours but I am hungry (found a creme egg in bag but has not saisfied appetite) and need to investigate the party food situation. He's making wakey noises now, eek.

shh, dh thinks I've come on the pc to do some work. Well, I have really but it would be rude not to pop on and say hello to you all first

hotter i'm with you on the tiredness front. I feel horribly tired today. O not even up that much to talk of but I have the biggest bags under my eyes and I really struggled to stay awake through church service this morning (no it wasn't boring !!)

Must go and do some research for my dissertation...

Miamla · 17/05/2009 17:29

guys, i've been reminded what sleep is! we got back from christening, mentioned to dp that i was going to lie down for a bit but that he was to come and get me after an hour. well he didn't and i slept for TWO hours! all in one go!!!
having put a wash on, emptied dish washer and hoovered downstairs, DP is now hoovering upstairs as well!
i'm thinking he's going to be after a "cuddle" tonight!

albs are there any party rings that you need help with?
for ts's benefit.. party rings

cc i believe that the meeting last week concluded that the thingy wotsit should be moved to later on in the month. Thereby freeing up the original date for the dumblydooda.
(my attempt at work speak but i think itng slipped in there at the end!)

sazz HOW'S YOUR HEAD SAZZ?

oops where did you go today? hope you did manage to get out somewhere despite the rain

hotpot even for a dog your mil's sounds pretty daft!
