Hi all, glad to see the non stop chatter thread is still going strong...just wanted to share this: ds slept 7pm to 5.30am last night without a peep WOO HOO

have been waiting a loooong time for that (8.5 months)

we're off oop north to visit with dp's rellies tomorrow, a 6.30am start is scheduled (we'll be lucky to leave here by 8am methinks) so will be catching up another 50 pages on Tuesday no doubt

welcome to blighty steak and dont be having no London meetup without me!

off to bed now, sleep tight (esp ds!)

LoveBuckets · 15/05/2009 22:54

LOL have you been playing Scramble on Facebook Sibh?

Great news Sambo, enjoy your weekend.

Hmm, if DH likes my tune he'll probably arrange it and rerecord it himself, I'll put that version up if it ever happens. He'd no doubt put in some speed ups / slow downs a la Hava Nigila and add a few ska bits. And his beloved cuica of course (annoying Brazilian percussion thing that sounds like a barking dog.) Ah, something for everyone.

TwilightSurfer · 16/05/2009 00:53

reese had non-baby food for dinner and LOVED it. black beans, rice pilaf, black olives, watermelon and ben&jerry's ice cream. YUM! the rest of us had the same plus sliced tomatoes, (me&dd1) grilled chicken & (dh) grilled steak. the ice cream was the big hit. it was my SURPRISE!

dh has the girls playing and i am mning cleaning up the kitchen. goodness what a mess. reese was flinging beans and rice all over the place.

reese bit me today. not a mad type bite but a get my attention bite. she wanted food and i was not paying attention. her chompers HURT.

we all napped for more than an hour today so bedtime might be a little strained. i needed the rest so whatever. dh can deal with things. oh...he's going to be gone all day tomorrow.....great.

sleepy dreams

TwilightSurfer · 16/05/2009 07:58

coffee, tea, toast, biscuits, bacon, eggs, sliced tomatoes, canalope, pineapple, waffles, milk, orange juice and hashbrowns.

enjoy.

why am i up?

haven't the slightest

Miamla · 16/05/2009 08:15

TS go back to bed my dear! i'm sure you have at least 4 hours of sleepy time left!

morning to the rest of ya!

Miamla · 16/05/2009 08:16

sib i've been trying to watch your video clip but it keeps hanging at 36 seconds and won't let me watch more Is it me, the laptop or the clip? answers on a postcard to Miamla, but please remember only one thing can be discussed at any one time

Sibh · 16/05/2009 08:25

Mmm, waffles. Thanks TS.

Not sure why the clip isn't working. DH comes in at 4:57 and puts on a bit of a show ...

Now I have to sign off in case I accidentally offer you information on anything else.

TwilightSurfer · 16/05/2009 08:46

she's yelling HI at the top of her lungs, smiling and waving.

i feel sorry for thode trying to sleep...

Miamla · 16/05/2009 08:47

hi reese

TwilightSurfer · 16/05/2009 08:57

just posted a video on fb of her and her morning cheeriness. dd1 is up now too. dh is probably FUMING.

dizzydixies · 16/05/2009 10:50

morning all TS about the same amount of sleep here too with being kept awake till 1am, DH coming in after 4am, Dylan up just after 5am she's since been and had her nap and I feel I've done a day's work already

am off to look at that clip of Reese to cheer me up

sambo great news on the sleep - lets hope its the start of a trend!

poppy safe journey and I hope you're feeling better

ALBS hope you're doing ok with all the party planning and that the sun is shining where you are - certainly isn't here

VG damn you and your online course, I've been looking them up now as well and I think that may just be a step too far for me at the moment

have made 2 lots of cupcakes this morning to take to the cafe I was volunteering in yesterday, am a tad nervous as although they're donations its the first time the public has ever really paid for my goods (well apart from someone Jack works with but she doesn't count) and they could be cak frankly - have also managed to dye my right index finger yellow with the food colouring I used for the buttercream topping and I look like a 90a day B&H smoker with nicotine stains!!!

dizzydixies · 16/05/2009 10:59

lovely clip TS just lovely

I forgot to tell you all that I had another cringe McCringe moment yesterday - was hell on earth and rather similar to my dental/homebas hell last month - not going to elaborate as you're all going to think I'm the thread slapper but needless to say it wasn't the most comfortable of exchanges within the church volunteer's run local cafe

Miamla · 16/05/2009 11:18

lol dizz there can't be many skeletons left actually in your closet are there?!!

dizzydixies · 16/05/2009 11:22

if there are I'll certainly try and keep them there I should have really moved away and stayed away once I'd finished uni

TwilightSurfer · 16/05/2009 13:06

8am [sleep deprived smiley]
sorry i broke mn earlier.
actually it was probably dh that did it.
he got up and was not amused that we were all up. he found we were not in need and went back to bed.
then i made him mad for grousing at him.
but really he needed to be groused at.
he left reese asleep on the bed with me out cold asleep on the bed when he went to get a shower. dd1 was in bed too. i realized the situation after he walked back into the room and dd1 started making noise.

dizzy what's up with your "situations" lately.

CaptainCaveman · 16/05/2009 15:36

Had a very quick scan through... had to lol at TS's advice to miamla of "Cervixkneepiles" Although the rl issues are no laughing matter.

CaptainCaveman · 16/05/2009 15:39

Tell me, when you last went to a zoo, did you see Meringue-a-tangs? Ds did .

(I think he means orangutans )

TwilightSurfer · 16/05/2009 16:15

hey captain. glad you like my medical diagnosis. took years of school'n for that.

working on getting myself out of my funk. here's something i found that's helping. go to this and click on the UNTOUCHED song in the audio player. You can't help but dance all over the house with this song play'n LOUD. DCs are lov'n mom's disco moves.
