X posts Sarah! I took so long reading posts and catching up that I missed yours! Thanks for asking after me . I will be gutted if DS1's sports day gets cancelled. I can't wait (mainly for the party afterwards!).

Egg · 01/07/2009 12:48

Oh DTs sleep from 7ish (although DD is in a habit of singing and calling out to DS2 for ages on some nights and is often still awake half an hour later, while DS2 nods off much more quickly). They are usually up by 6:30am at the mo, but (touch wood) not normally before 6am.

They usually sleep for 2ish hours from 12:30pm as well. DS2 will sleep for three if you let him. He is for some reason refusing to sleep right now though and I can hear him shouting upstairs.

sarahmikeharryandrosie · 02/07/2009 12:34

Hi all

Strawberry that sounds ridiculous - 10 hours a day! Ok when you've not got a family but you can't sustain life like that.

Swotty - Malc goes down about 7.30 but sometimes awake till about 9 chatting away. Up between 6.30 adnd 7 but often just puts his music box on and dozes for a bit longer. Has an hour or an hour and a half in the afternoon.

Nice to hear from you Egg. I thought I was fairly clued up but what on earth are the wiggles?

All fine here - lots of grandparents been visiting this week - but I've lost my voice! It's either very high pitched and squeaky or a very hoarse - can't sing and can't shout "NOOOOOOO!!"

So - anyone off to a swineflu party? ;-)

sarahmikeharryandrosie · 02/07/2009 17:33

Gill, the wiggles are an australian tv programme, its 4 men who sing and dance witht he help of a pirate, dinosaur and other dodgy looking characters!!!!!1i really cringe everytime they appear!!!!1DS though thinks they are fab!!!!!

lol

Sarah - I think they're fab! Can't wait to show that to Malc to tomorrow.

Strawberry what I should have said is a lot more than 10 hours a day! Assuming you have the weekends off? Checked the time of my last post and am assuming this lack of maths skill down to general mummyness rather than wine. Well, hope you're relaxing now?

Went to a birthday party in teh park today which would have been lovely as there were lots of people I hadn't seen for ages but I spent the whole time going to fetch Malcolm back from the far side of the park.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone

strawberrycornetto · 05/07/2009 08:55

Hello everyone. Last week was better and I ended up off sick friday anyway. Struggling with my poorly little boy still though.

Oh, the wiggles are scary!!!

Can't read everything now, just wanted to get back into my recent posts again and try to catch up properly later. Sorry for always posting bad stuff, will promise to do a happy post after mini bedtime tonight!

elliepac · 09/07/2009 14:36

Hello all, I didn't just join you lovely ladies and then disappear have just been stupidly busy. I haven't had time to read through everything but congratulations Sarah, that's brilliant news. We've already said no more DC's for us but have to admit I get a little broody on hearing wonderful news like that!

Glad your work has calmed down strawberry cornetto, I wish mine would, Traditionally this is wind down time but i just seem to be busier than ever. Have only just found the time to post because am off work poorly sick. Hope your LO is ok too.

Swotty, i hope things are going well.

DD is being a little monkey. She's full of personality which equals trouble! Early waking is our problem de jour. 5ish every day, it's killing me. Sleeps like a dream, goes down at 6.30, asleep for 7 but always wakes early!!!!

It's DS's 6th birthday soon and am currently racking my brains trying to think of a present for him and trying to decide what to do for his birthday.

On a positive note, only 3 and a bit weeks till we go on holiday! Yeah! Having a full on family holiday this year with DSIS, BIL and SN and Mum. Not sure how much of a relaxing holiday it will be with us all under one roof for 2 weeks. It has to happen this way due to (without going in to long, complicated and sad family history) loss of stepdad last september to cancer (having already lost dad to cancer 9 years ago)so mum wouldn't have gone away without coming with us plus sister has just had hysterectomy due to cancer (yes, youa re right we are blighted by the evil disease) so she will need lots of tlc. Still, it's a break and am really looking forward to it.

Anyway, sorry for rambling, am going back to bed with my lemsip now. Take Care all.

lljkk · 10/07/2009 14:03

Good luck, Sarah. You're chat name is about to get even longer...

NewsFlash: LO now eats brocoli, it's his favourite food, even! Well, once the sausages are all gone. And peas.. had a very green nappy the other day (not that I'm complaining).

Gill: DS1 was like that. I'd go to meet friends in a park cafe with same age toddlers; all their cute little DDs would sit happily and quietly at the table, picking at scones while their mummies drank tea.

Meanwhile DS1 would be legging it at high speed somewhere out of sight -- giggling merrily and not once looking back, sigh. I think that's when my social life really started to die.

swottybetty · 10/07/2009 14:18

argh - my mumsnet isnt working. i can only read this thread if i post on it. strange

swottybetty · 10/07/2009 14:24

woweeee sarah big congrats! so excited for you. glad you feeling ok - did you have ok pregnancies the first two times?

gill - we had same with dd at a bbq on satuday. tis a right royal pain. dd has spent the last four weeks since bob was born roaming round the school site. dh just lets her toddler and he follows her. its the most frustrating occupation ever - involves lots of steps and stones.

egg lovely to hear from you egg x

sarahmikeharryandrosie · 10/07/2009 17:05

yeah my pregnancies with harry and rosie were ok, slightly raised bp, raised BMI but generally ok!!!!

suddenly feeling exhausted think the reality has hit me!!!!!!!

one more shift at work then 2 days off!!!!!woohoo

how is everyone!!!!

Swotty how quick have 4 weeks gone since bob was born?
