scarysarahandco · 28/11/2009 09:10

hi Omy, its so quiet on here no idea whats happened to everyone,

Lovely to hear from you!!!!

Hope your 12 yr old was behaving on the internet whilst the baby sitter slept!!!!LOL shocking!

Rosie went thru a chunky stage a little while back but now has shot up in height again so people keep telling me she has lost weight!!!!
Perhaps she is building up her stores for the cold winter ahead!!!!LOL

we are putting out christmas tree up tomorow Hary is so excited!!!! lol

omy · 28/11/2009 10:15

Christmas tree already! You are always so organised. We won't have one at all I'm afraid. Too much hassle - DH hates xmas trees - the mess! (he has OCH about cleaning! LOL) He also hates spending money on things like decorations, presents, etc - such a killjoy - I can't believe I married him! Well he has lots of good points - brilliant at cleaning and cooking for example, great at bulk buying and bargains, can do electrics, plumbing, carpentry, childcare, earns good money from self employed business - actually a saint - so I have to cope with the whole phobia about xmas and birthdays I guess! After 20 years I have got used to it but it still depresses me sometimes. Leila is watching sesame street - her male nanny bought it for her as he loves it - and now she loves it - it is so cute. 12 yr old in the shower - 17 yr old in bed - of course! Of to school fete to do our bit in a minute laden with homemade food (made by DH) yum ....

scarysarahandco · 28/11/2009 12:13

wow omy i could live with a husband who didn't do xmas if he did all that!¬!!!!LOL

Have a fab time at the fete!

alkar · 02/12/2009 08:16

How does the tree look Sarah? I think we might put ours up thie weekend. We got a mew sofa and moved the living room around a few weeks ago so I'm hoping our old tree will still fit somewhere

On nights tonight. Went back on shifts at the beginning of Nov, finally gave in to the money! Not looking forward to it, DS cried at 3.30 am and when I went in his nappy was soaking so ended up having to change it and his pjs. Does anyone else still use cloth nappies? We use a mixture of cloth and pampers but I think it will be pampers at night from now on.

Anyway off to take some sleeping pills and go back to bed!!

scarysarahandco · 02/12/2009 15:47

Alkar, the tree and lights are looking fab!!!! DS is so excited and Rosie just keeps saying nooooooo Santa!!!!!LOL

poor you on nights!!!!! hope the shifts go quickly for you.

Cant help about being wet at night i am afriad,. disposables only here!!!LOL

i have 12 more shiftsd at work, then i have some holiday to take and then on mat leave!!!woohoo(i am going off at 30 weeks because of Rosies operation its just easier that way!!!1

take care Alkar, lovely to hear from youxxxxx

alkar · 03/12/2009 20:26

I thought that you had had the fastest pregnancy ever sarah, then read you were leaving work at 30 weeks!

Tree is up, had to go buy a new one as he old one just didn't fit in the corner I wanted it in ( out of the way of DS!), bought a pop up one from B+Q, took all of 5 mins to put up

Night shift wasn't too bad just long and boring. DH is out tonight so DS went to bed early and I am enjoying a glass of wine and am about to start wrapping presents

scarysarahandco · 06/12/2009 14:55

lol Alkar!!! it would be fab tio have baby now!!! bored of waiting!!heehee

glad your tree is up and your getting all festive!!!

Ds has eaten all the choccies off the tree today and looked so pleased with himself!!!LOL (less pleased when i made him fish all the wrappers out from the sofa to put them in the bin)!!!!Little monkey!!!!

Bessie123 · 14/12/2009 14:38

hello hello... anyone there? Everyone is very quiet nowadays.

How are you all?

scarysarahandco · 14/12/2009 20:28

hi bessie, all good here apart from the usual coughs and colds!!!!

Hope you and yours are well,

All ready for Christmas???

Its very quiet on here these days. its becoming the the sarah thread!!!!!

Bessie123 · 15/12/2009 13:46

It does seem quiet, this thread started in May. How is the pregnancy going, Sarah? Only a few more weeks to go, I should think..?

scarysarahandco · 15/12/2009 15:34

pregnancy is going very well, finish work tomorrow for xmas and then my mat leave begins!!!!! 11 weeks to go cant wait!!!!!!

alkar · 15/12/2009 17:36

So quiet on here. Is everyone Christmas shopping???????????

Bessie123 · 16/12/2009 10:07

wow Sarah, you're so lucky to be finishing work for a whole year. Your due date must be around the same time as Rosie's birthday, or have I missed that discussion already?

alkar - christmas shopping? You must either be joking or have a very well behaved toddler.

scarysarahandco · 16/12/2009 14:19

Bessie, Rosie will be 2 on feb 7th and baby is due march 3rd!!!!! Woohoo cannot wait!!!

Bessie123 · 16/12/2009 15:53

Wow, so you'll have a fair while off work before baby comes. Lucky you.

Has anyone heard from Swotty Betty?

scarysarahandco · 16/12/2009 16:06

yeah will have plenty of time (the main reason for this is Rosie has to go to the birmingham childrens hospital on jan 7th for an op on her hip as the docs have managed to miss a clicky hip and ignored all my nagging about her limping etc until now!!!!) she will have an afternoon of surgery followed by 12 long weeks in plaster (returns after 6 weeks to have new cast fitted)from her nipples to her feet just leaving a hole for her nappy!!! i have some how got to fit giving birth and the school run for DS in there too!!!!!

Bessie123 · 16/12/2009 17:08

My goodness, poor Rosie. And poor you. I hope it all goes well, it must be difficult trying not to get too stressed.

scarysarahandco · 17/12/2009 12:28

Thanks Bessie i am ok at the mo, i have done the crying and being angry now were just waiting and dreading the whole thing, she will be fine and will probably deal with it much better than we will,

i will keep you up to date with her though, xcxxxx
