And Dylan won't need a passport!

dizzydixies · 07/05/2009 22:09

will promise to look at it

why are job applications SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo tedious

Steaknife · 07/05/2009 22:17

Right, I've found the Cabot Circus website but for all its fa-han-cy shm-ahn-cy ness I still can't really tell where the blummin place is.

I was thinking about the waterfront but now I've seen that there is a Harvey Nicks then wahey Cabot Circus it is.

How will you be travelling Steaky?

It is about 10 mins away from train station. It is in the centre of Brissol where the old Debenhams used to be.

pertelote · 07/05/2009 22:20

I have re Bristol meet too as I am away that week - but to be fair I am going to be in Paris so I guess I'll get over it! Steaky did you say you're in London the week after? Fancy a second act?! Thanks for gracious response to my clunking attempt at marital advice, btw... glad things are better atm. Well done on tackling the rabbit! I did a whole salmon for Monday, the one DH brought home was an absolute monster. Luckily the HV has left her scales at my house so I was able to weigh it very conveniently

Sazzles your night out sounds fabulous - enjoy it! Our hol next week is with my parents so I am going to be brave and take advantage of built-in babysitters even if it's only for a drink and a wind-swept walk along the beach...

Dizzy yay for new babies! My cousin's had a boy today after going into labour on saturday [blimey][yuck] No name yet, can't think why not, after all what else has she had to think about for the last five days

lwfh · 07/05/2009 22:27

Hello everyone, glad things are looking up. I am very impressionable when it comes to people posting recipes here as I tend to go off and bake them (last one was the lemon drizzle cake, which was OK but not in fact the best cake ever). Please post the lemon cupcake recipe, but only if low calorie, high fibre, low fat ...

We went to the zoo today, DS smiled at some of the animals, so I think that this qualifies it as a success.

oooooh nappy to deal, which is good as we've not seen too many poos recently.

bu bu bu bu bu bu bu from the wriggle monster on my lap

Sazzles, am seriously thinking about night weaning too ... please keep us updated with your thoughts.

Steaknife · 07/05/2009 22:28

see oops that's the kind of directions I be needin.
So the Debnums doesn't exist anymore? Brissol went down hill once John Lewis went to Cribbs.

oopsacoconut · 07/05/2009 22:30

yes they knocked down the JL building and Debs too and maked Cabot circus!

Steaknife · 07/05/2009 22:32

Forgot to say that I think that Izzy moved today. Still not rolling but I think maybe a bum-shuffle.

I had one eye on her and another on something else, well okay both eyes on something else. And when I looked up she was chewing on playing with her big toy bag that was at the edge of the playmat. Izzy had deffo been in the middle of the playmat previously.

So either another yogic flyer or a bum shuffler.

I'm off to bed DD awake and Dh walking her about - she has developed a cough and snot which made her vomit all since I put her to bed at 7.30.

lwfh · 07/05/2009 22:50

lemons, yes perfect, that will be one of my five portions. Excellent. I look forward to the recipe!

Steaknife · 07/05/2009 22:52

hi TS in case you pop on for one of your early morning chats to yourself

dizzydixies · 08/05/2009 07:07

DD1 in our bed due to bad dreams about 3am. Dylan shouting at 4am. Can't bring her into bed with us as DD1 there. Gave up and got up at 4.40am and came downstairs with her. DD2 up at 6.30am. DH and DD1 now up, DH has a face like a balloon so hunting out some antihistamen. Going to give Dylan her breakfast then put her down for a nap DH taking DD2 to nursery for 8.30 and PIL arriving this afternoon. Why do I feel like I've done a whole day work already

oj and vodka please dizz and my thoughts are with you this afternoon. Just keep repeating "this too will pass"

my fil phoned last night to ask what time they should aim to arrive? erm wft! i didn't even know they were coming down and said as much so he said "oh, hasn't DP told you?". So i gave the phone to DP to sort it out. Needless to say, DP didn't know they were coming down either and they're not now so there

oopsacoconut · 08/05/2009 09:52

Morning all

absolutely NO sleep here! she was awake at 10, back to bed at 11.15, awake and crying until 3.15, finally and asleep intil 4.40, crying until 5 sleep until 6.30 fed, napped on and off until 7.30 when I gave her to DH and went back to bed until 8.30.

I make no sense to anyone so am going for a walk!

miamla - well done on IL avoidance.

hotterpotter · 08/05/2009 10:01

Seems strange being in the 'good sleep' camp after all those months and months of multiple wake-ups - my matchsticks freely available to any who need them. DS slept 8-6.15, went in to feed him and didn't think he would go back to sleep but he did, in fact we all slept in till 8.15 . I take it back about the blackout blind though sorry for my evangelising but when I went in there at 6 I shut the door behind me and the light was streaming in round the door edges. So who knows what has engineered this transformation

Miamla you are brave to diss the inlaws! Unfortunately My MIL only lives a few miles away and thinks it's acceptable just to pop in unnanounced. She never stays more than an hour or two so not too bad.

hotterpotter · 08/05/2009 10:05

X-post Oops sounds like you win the booby prize for shittest night

All you tired ladies, have a free pass to eat as much cake as you want today to keep your eyes open and hope it's as sunny where you are as it is here

alittlebitshy · 08/05/2009 10:27

miamla at inlaws. I thouht mil not talking to you so why would she want to see you ?!

Had fabbo day at bluewater yesterday with sil and dnephew - was much calmer than l;ast time whenwe took the girls too! Spent a large chunk of ds's christeniong pressie vouchers on clothes for him - just need anothe rpack of vests, babygros and some more trousers and he's done fo now!

Since the ill weelk last week we've had mostly good nights. I think sine last thursday we've had 2 nights with wake ups (one per night) which is great!!!

I have another bf issue now. . ds isn't biting - he did that at xmas but stopped luckily but one of his teeth is chafing me really babdly - my areola was all swollen last night and it is grazed badly. Am feeding in rugby ball hold where i can on that side but not v easy if a night feed needed (it involves dangling him over the side of the chair in the chair in his room lol which is not v conducive to feeding to sleep ).

waaah.
