FBG goes to me for making lemon cupcakes with lemon butter icing and a wafer paper daisy on top for my friend's birthday - was comfort baking also made carrot and cinammon ones but they were minging - found out cinammon was out of date Apr last year

No1 hope he's got his tail between his legs

cyteen glad move went well - fingers crossed for CC who I think is moving today or possibly tomorrow too?

thank you all for lovely messages, my aunt and cousins have landed over there with my aunt so am feeling a bit better - I know she and my cousins aren't on their own but there is nothing like family at this time. Have got a passport application today to do for Dylan so that I don't have this dilema again

got LOADS of admin work to do tonight so don't be speaking to me if you see me on here - throw me off with a flea in my ear [meep]

dizzydixies · 07/05/2009 20:06

oohh my friend just had her baby at 7.07 tonight and was on the phone herself telling us by just after half past am hoping that means she's had a relatively easy time as I couldn't speak to anyone for ages whilst they patched me up and tried to convince me I hadn't been run over by a truck

nice to know that the circle of life goes on

Evening,

Sazzles - YAY for the escape - some wine and a night out should make DD sleep like an angel for her Daddy!

Dizzy - The FBG crown should be permanently attached to our head! What flavour was the baby? I was on the phone about 5 minutes after Dd was born to my mum in South Africa - I was determined she was going to be the first to know as she had to wait 3 days for her flight before she could meet DD! I was still high on adrenalin, 2 hours later I couldn't keep my eyes open or speak in coherent sentances!

Hi No1 - ducks are becoming very popular in our household too.

Well she is in bed sleeping, in her sleeping bag (will try anything to see if it helps, even though she hates the baggie) she fed from both sides, ate lentil bake for dinner followed by 1/2 a fruit pot, 1/2 a yogurt and a beaker of water.

Personal trainer was very very mean today me thinks he is just feeling sore as it is his birthday tomorrow and I had aged him 5 years when he asked how old I thought he was. Blood taken and last results have been received and they show the totally opposite problem the Doc thought so now it may be a hyperthyroid. This explains why I can out eat DH, have heart palpitations, sweat madly and am always hot. The tireness is apparently due to not sleeping well when I do sleep not just a nocturnal DD. So next week we check all tests match and then start thinking about treating it.

back in a bit fruit compote and ice cream is calling

dizzydixies · 07/05/2009 20:55

baby girl called Emily
DH feeling a bit similar to you oops as they've worked them VERY hard on the course - never mind, double George tonight ladies

finished the cafe stuff, am going to eat tea and then do some applications so wishing you all sleepy babies tonight

oopsacoconut · 07/05/2009 20:59

DIZZY - PAPERWORK

oopsacoconut · 07/05/2009 21:01

okay you're done I didn't refresh the page sorry

dizzydixies · 07/05/2009 21:04

am not technically done but the emails have been sent and the envelopes all stuffed. I've now got a job application to put in BUT that just takes a few moments jigging of an old one hopefully

the stare was VERY good though, PF will be proud

Steaknife · 07/05/2009 21:07

Evenin all

We are having rabbit for supper. I do like a it of rabbit, but I was a bit put off by the fact that DH had brought an entire one, with only the tripe taken out. So I had to behead, de-paw and clean the rest of it. Eeeeuw.

Should be tasty though, cooked in wine with mustard, rosemary, peas and carrots.

pert could be DH trying to maintain the Frenchness or just trying to maintain a bit of control. He is a happy chap at the moment as there was some romance chez steaky the other night.

Can't remember a thing I just read, but we do need to organise a west country meet up.

How are folk fixed from 22 - 30 MAy I'm thinking Bristol.
Should I start a new thread or summat?
