will add it to my to do list for Monday

poppysocks · 25/04/2009 22:13

Oh dizzy, what a sh*tty day (sorry, not meant to be funny there ). Hope the girls have settled well, giving you time and space for a stiff drink and large bar of choc. Can I take DD2 at some stage - maybe this week or next, to give you some space pre-christening? M would love it.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow MrSazzles.

FS(ister)G crown to you VG. I have also barely bf DD2 as well in the last few days. Think stopping when we're back from hols (and I'm almost back to work - eek) will be about right.

dizzydixies · 25/04/2009 22:16

ah poppy thank you, am sure she'd love it choc has been abandoned for sensations crisps and diluting orange juice lol

poppysocks · 25/04/2009 22:24

Right. Sorted dizzy. Will text you tomorrow to arrange details. And yum to the sensations.

thank you poppy VG I do have a rather tempetious relationship with Robinsons no sugar orange

poppysocks · 25/04/2009 22:44

Thanks for the info VG. Forewarned is forearmed etc. Am thinking of taking our travel cot with us as useful to have on other stops on our trip (rather than relying on others to provide something). Could be useful to have one for sleeping and one for playing. At present though, DH wants to take his car on hol as it's a company car so miles don't matter (but really because it's far more powerful/fun than mine). However it's SO much smaller than mine so will add pipe danger/travel cot to list of reasons to abandon this plan.

ah bless him, I know ours wouldn't!

poppysocks · 25/04/2009 23:01

Eek sazzles. Hope no-one got caught up in the chaos. I'll never forget watching a caravan wander around all over the road behind a car and eventually pull it off the road . Everyone fine iirc but has put me off caravans for life.

Thanks for the offer dizzy .

Shockingly, Joe went through last night which was kind of him as I was on my own. I was sure he would end up in with me at the first little squeak but no, a couple of mutterings at 4am and 5ish and that was that. I didn't even need to get out of bed! Except to wee Curse my tiny bladder.

Anyway, today is the second anniversary of Simon's death so whatever we do today it will be better than sitting in an airless hospital room watching his breathing wind down Sorry for the imagery but it's all quite fresh in my mind. Although I feel quite positive today; the month has been awful so in a way it's quite good to get to the actual day of remembrance iyswim.
