Well my head is achey from this sinus nightmare but I have balanced all my financials (except my mortgage because I can't find where I put those papers). It's all good.

DH is out with DD1 picking up fried chicken for them and a burger with onion rings for me. I hear the car in the garage now.

Reese is asleep after proving over and over again that she could go from sitting to standing without help.

I will check back later.

Miamla · 02/05/2009 18:00

yay! well done Reese! i loved the look on DS's face when he did it for the first time! exactly the same as Reese "oooh errr what do i do now i'm here?!"

Miamla · 02/05/2009 20:58

dizzydixies · 02/05/2009 21:06

TS Dylan was very very very nearly Ruby until we realised its ranked second most popular name in Uk at the moment and I chickened out as DD1's name is apparently very popular

VG am glad you think its funny what if he spills about thebestnightofhislifeever me and she takes the root canal a bit too seriously?!?!?!?!? I'm bad enough at the dentist without having a guilty secret too Beatrix is very pretty too but too similar to DD2's name in sound so would need to be either Beatrice or the scots version which is Beatris

No1 you and I have similar taste I see, I love the name dixie (even if it makes me lapdancer) but would never use it for a child hence the MN name

Miamla · 02/05/2009 21:10

i've only got wine because i thought feck it, DP's been out today, we'd run out of milk so DS and I went to the shop and came back with a bottle of rose

is it just me and you tonight then kid? is DH working?

Miamla · 02/05/2009 21:11

i'm actually feeling v naughty drinking the wine. DP is still out so i'm going to be drunk in charge of a baby! only kidding! i'm only having half a glass because i'm such a lightweight at the moment but it still feels naughty!

Miamla · 02/05/2009 21:36

hi oops, got any apple pie left?

oh, that reminds me, DP's grandma was trying to convince me that spoon feeding jam to a baby was a good idea today! WTF!!!

oopsacoconut · 02/05/2009 21:37

VD????

oopsacoconut · 02/05/2009 21:38
dizzydixies · 02/05/2009 21:38

are the initials VD not a little mean?

Miamla - its just a different generation condensed milk sandwiches were a good idea way back when too

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 02/05/2009 21:39

Had a conversation today about Jam with dh.
Well Jam on cold yorkshire puddings. Was telling dh my grandad always saved some after roast dinner, blob of jam and sprinkle of sugar. mmmmmmm.. dh thinks I am a freak.

Miamla · 02/05/2009 21:39

hmm, i guess! This is the very reason that I need to run all baby names through you lot first!
My friend should have done the same, her dd's initials are "men" and she didn't realise til the christening presents arrived!

oopsacoconut · 02/05/2009 21:39

Dizzy - condensed milk sandwiches are still a good idea, along with golden syrup and squirty cream
