Off to body pump catch up later.

jenwa · 21/04/2009 19:41

Wow pepper Well done dont take children take friends instead, more fun or you could borrow my dd and put her in the dungeon haha!!!

MM thank you, smacking is soo difficult. I do it but only if all else fails but I have just put a cushion on the floor to use as a naughty mat as DH threw the other one away when converting the loft! We wil see. I am just fed up with DD1 not listening!
Poor M and the dandilion, and lol at your DS in his fast shoes, bless.

jenwa · 21/04/2009 19:42

Dh appears to have done a disappearing act again tonight. Only difference is that tonight he has left butternut squash cooking in the oven, as he's supposed to be making a shepherds pie.

OP posts:
jenwa · 21/04/2009 20:30

Is he still in your house csws or actaully gone somewhere?

I think my DH th inks I have disappeared on to the computer

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/04/2009 20:40

He went up to put dd to bed (her room is loft conversion so on 2nd floor) and hasn't returned, so he's def still in the house, and prob snoring his head off up there.

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 21/04/2009 20:42

CSWS - I would take the butternut squash out of the oven, let it cool a tiny bit, then depost the soggy inside on his head. If he is asleep that is.

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/04/2009 20:53

He's just come back, and is now moaning that he doesn't know why he has to 'work' in the evenings when I'm just sitting watching TV/on computer. Maybe because I've already cleared up the kitchen, put the dishwasher on, and tidied up the living room, and will be up several times in the fucking night with ds. Utter knob.

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 21/04/2009 21:06

Ok, I'd still go with the squash plan. Just tip the hot insides down the front of his pants. Is he working at the moment? I hope to God he is otherwise

jenwa · 21/04/2009 21:13

Why are men knobs???!!!
God I bet you are utterly pissed off! If he had the children for you and got up in the night maybe he would realise why you would want to watch some tv and be on the computer. I tell you what, my Dh would be out of breath just watching me in a day doing what I do, They have NO idea.

I heard a good joke:
Whats the funny bit of skin on the end of a willy called?

A man!!! haha

jenwa · 21/04/2009 21:14

and mm god I think your Dh would be scared of you you make me laugh

Marthasmama · 21/04/2009 21:15

He is but in a good way.

jenwa · 21/04/2009 21:17

They just need to know right!

pepperrabbit · 21/04/2009 21:17

MM - we had that kind of afternoon - DS2 fell over onto DS1's bike yesterday (they were doing "twirling") and has 2 stripes across his eyebrows from that, today, he managed to scooter into my rosebush - get completely stuck on the thorns - which went through his top and scratched his back, then he came indoors where it's safe - and pulled the airer down on his head . Then DS1 cried cos I made him a sandwich for tea and he wanted pita . Luckily no-one encountered any slugs
CSWS at your DH. He wants to be careful MM doesn't get hold of him....
Today, in a very random way, I met Ekka! we were at the clinic together, sat next to each other! Matthew is very cute, my DS2 was dressed as an urchin (sigh).... It was my first visit there since early December (as the HV pointed out DD is absolutely fine, slap bang on 50th centile (as I pointed out). 16lb 8oz at 26.5 weeks.
pistachio, it would take me 3 weeks to run 10K!
jenwa - thank you for the bottle info, makes me feel better that DD probably just doesn't need as much now she's getting a little food as well.I'm going to post this now before it all disappears...

star6 · 21/04/2009 21:20

csws let's create a little place where we can throw dh's in when they are being big losers and lock them all up together for a few days!
I took Q to osteo today. I just put him down and he's sleeping like normal . If he sleeps this way the whole night like before (well, waking a few times but back to sleep like before) I will go and french kiss all of the osteos at the practice!!! tomorrow!

pepperrabbit · 21/04/2009 21:23

Yay! star - I hope Q stays asleep for you.
Are the osteo's ready for you arriving tomorrow like this -

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/04/2009 21:24

lol jenwa .

He's in the kitchen now making the shepherd's pie (I normally have to rescue the meat part at some point). He was meant to have made it yest for tonight's tea, and then was meant to have made it this morning whilst I took the kids to toddler group (he did make some phone calls re insurance stuff in that time). I'm watching the bntm that you saw yest mm. They so aren't a patch on the American girls!

OP posts:
pepperrabbit · 21/04/2009 21:24

CSWS - have you gone to kick him awake?

pepperrabbit · 21/04/2009 21:25

Doh - x posts!

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/04/2009 21:27

Gosh I didn't realise that you were so close pepper and Ekka!

OP posts:
pepperrabbit · 21/04/2009 21:30

It was fate (like MM and her nursery furniture!) I knew we were in the same town - but it's quite a large town really.
I contemplated whispering "Ekka" loudly and seeing if she reacted - and pretending i'd coughed if she didn't . But i actually said "are you Alison?"
We really need an MN handshake, or secret burping technique to identify ourselves

Marthasmama · 21/04/2009 21:36

Bollocks! I wrote a long post that was so witty and entertaining that Oscar Wilde himself would have been envious and then my internet connection died. Oh well, you'll just have to laugh and pretend. Hrumph!

pepperrabbit · 21/04/2009 21:39

oops, real name - sorry

pepperrabbit · 21/04/2009 21:40

see where trying to be witty and clever got me MM!
I laughed at your post if that helps !
Did it involve CSWS's DH?
