dinky Oh dear - they really are a glutton for punishment these toddlers aren't they. A family friends son got my brothers head when they were little and whacked it against a pavement once....he's actually turned out to be a nice gentle sort of bloke so there's hope for your mates son !!!.....
I must try the training pants with DS. We've had a "poo in pull ups" weekend with a back track from the potty - even though annoyingly he tells me when he's doing a wee/poo. He's been a bit clingy to me this weekend so I'm going with it.
Re the water Beantin - I've never done it until they start eating proper food and drinking with it. I usually feed if unsettled and if they take it then chances are they're probably hungry. Thing is though, because I'm ff I can see how much DD is drinking and it's prob different with bf so can't advise. DS didn't like the water thing either (I tried it).
We're on the big bottles and faster teats today - DD just had some of her bottle and looked like her eyes might pop out of her head as she was trying to keep up !!...
PS anyone see the Apprentice last week? The woman who ran the catering team owns a restaurant near us - it's a pretty upmarket place (and popular) but seeing her on the programme being portrayed as a slightly autocratic boss put me off no end ! And the fact that she was prepared to put that rubbish food out made with rubbish ingredients (and seemed to think it was good) made me wonder ...hers is one of those "locally sourced food simply prepared" type places and it ain't cheap. Maybe secretly she's using Tesco value ingredients
PPSS Also - did anyone see Clare Balding on the Grand National make that mean comment to the winning jockey about his teeth??....I saw in the paper today that she's apparently had to apologise as the beeb had so many complaints !
Right, sorry my commentary on my tv watching now over
