Daisy

Good news about DD Daisy.

I know DT1 will be fine just felt so bad like I was sending her away cos she's such hard work. She is hard work but not her fault she's one of 3 and I'm one of one iyswim. I am lucky that DP's are here to help but it's my job not theirs so feel bad at not coping well enough.

No fluff yet- did you get my e mail about this month's order? How come everyone else seems to know what's up for testing?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 13/04/2009 21:12

You only need feel bad T if you always send the same twin away if you get other offers of help in the future.

TALLULAHBELLE · 13/04/2009 21:16

They said they'll take DT2 some night too so s'pose that'll balance it. It has been such a peaceful evening though

FrazzledFairyFay · 13/04/2009 21:17

Don't feel bad Tallulah, you need some rest too.

LackaDAISYcal · 13/04/2009 21:22

T, I have just checked and found your email.....everthing gets lost in the constant barrage I get each day from facebook!!

erm...not sure is the answer, but I'll have a look and get back to you. This was my first month and the list of what was available was in the welcome email. It's a blardy annoying way to communicate though isn't it?

don't feel bad Tbelle. Your parents probably love being able to help and the chance to get a baby to themselves for a bit. Mine used to have DS1 when he was a baby, for days at a time if they could, and we used to meet up in service stations halfway between here and the lakes (where we lived then) and swap over! wish someone would take the little buggers for a night or two now

glad things sound good for DD daisy.

I did indeed enjoy the knights! such lovely physiques...

TALLULAHBELLE · 13/04/2009 21:27

Thanks Fairy. Logic tells me I'll do a better job after a bit of r&r. It's that guilt that seems to come with motherhood, that we never think we're doing a good enough job. Sure men don't beat themselves up in the same way.

FrazzledFairyFay · 13/04/2009 21:31

Whatever we do, as Mums, we'll never think it's good enough

LittleMissNorty · 13/04/2009 22:22

Daisy. Good news.

Just bought one of these for DDs birthday from e-bay for a bargain price of £120...right old bidding frenzy there was....but I sniped it with 7 seconds to go

Right, DS needs feeding. night x

HellHathNoFury · 14/04/2009 08:57

We are poxed!

More spots overnight on his hips. He doesn't seem to have it bad though.
Daisy to answer your question, he was fluey all over Easter but I just assumed he had a cold.
Spots appeared last night.

He usually hates TV but has been happily watching Cbeebies all morning, he MUST be ill!

LackaDAISYcal · 14/04/2009 09:14

Poor DS . He sounds like he is a fairly resilient wee soul though so hopefully won't be too badly affected.

It's going to be a horrible day here today. No-one has had any sleep; bumble was up between 1 and 3 and then again at 5; DD was up with night terrors at 2ish and then came in our bed at 5.30 but wouldn't settle; DS1 didn't settle till DD and DH got home from the hospital....he did sleep till nearly 8.00 though. DD is in that misery zone where she is tired to bits but won't stop as she knows she will just flake out so she is being a right little mischief maker and charging around squealing.....

Had great plans for today, but we are having a duvet day instead.

daisy.

poor DS fury.

I am palming DS1&2 off on the out of schools cluster activities today! In 20 minutes they're off to an art day til Grandad collects them at 3pm. Wonder if baggins fancies a long nap?

it has been very quiet, and I have been bored. kids back with art.

and my (nice) BIL came to visit unexpectedly as he'd brought his DCs to the seaside. The house is only like the pit of doom and DH is out. But it was OK.

have cleaned baggins after his excursion in the rabbit run.

it sounds a nice jumper. I like green. and cashmere.

my house is a tip and there's everything, everywhere. it wouldn't have been so bad had he not gone to the loo. the laundry basket has overflowed into the hallway, and there is stuff from the boys rooms all over the hallway too.

deary me it has been quiet today.

poor chicken pox and lack of sleep DC today, hope your days were bearable.

oh dear for the yummy sounding cashmere jumper, i hate it when things develop holes in them suddenly. (partically when its a DC involoved!)

me and DH had a major arguement last night over his lack of help. he has been off work a week and gone into uni once, spent every morning in bed till lunch time then wanted to do nothing but watch shite tv and upset the kids cos they want to watch cebeebies.

so when he started hassling me for rumpy as soon as i fell into bed after another day of cleaning cooking and children entertaining i told him in no uncertain terms that i wasnt interested in sharing my bed with a selfish c**t

he has been on best behavior today, even tho he humped off last night mid arguement and slept on the sofa!

i love it when men admit they are wrong

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 14/04/2009 19:51

Good for you Natty

Am deliciously full on cauli & brocolli cheese and a baked potato
