LOL Butterfly. Must remember that one. Don't think he'll dare complain again though.

oh dear daisy, hope it's OK.

hi everyone sorry all is not great with poorly children, screaming children and wakeful ones.

DS1 & 2 made our day out very unpleasant actually. DS2 because he had an illness/tiredness induced tanrum just before we came homeand put granny in a bad mood. DS1 because he is plain evil and did something mean to his cousin, just because he could.

wish I could have stayed behind and helped the jousters with their rubbing down

off to get sorted for ealry bed, back in a bit. keep us posted daisy.

TALLULAHBELLE · 13/04/2009 18:47

Hope all OK Daisy.

HellHathNoFury · 13/04/2009 18:58

Daisy hope all is ok!

Think we may have chickenpox here....

here are my lovely jousters, if they're on near anyone it's worth a trip!

TheNatty · 13/04/2009 19:10

hope all is ok daisy, do let us know

LackaDAISYcal · 13/04/2009 19:18

dh has taken her to A&E. guys said there is a risk of a gas embolism (?) and she will need to be monitored. they thought that given the dilution....a scoop and a bit in about 8l of water and the fact it had been lying for a couplre of hours, all the gas will have been given off, but best get her monitored to make sure.

It's going to be a horrible wait.

HellHathNoFury · 13/04/2009 19:20

Oh Daisy
Hope all is ok. Sounds 'low risk' though so fingers crossed it will be fine.

Butterfly, not worried about the pox. If anything am rather pleased as I need a break, I am exhausted and work is very political and difficult atm!

Plus I'd rather he had it now while he's young anyway.

LittleMissNorty · 13/04/2009 19:31

Daisy . Hope she is ok....has she puked at all?

Beach was great. DD loved it - as did the dog. I done some walking but it was very windy so sat in the car and fed DS. Put a few more pics on FB . Beach was very bust considering it wasn't that warm and it was bloody windy....but people are on holiday and they will sit on the beach .

Tallulah, glad you are getting a bit of a break - you must be knackered. Would loved to have been a fly on the wall when your DH said that! Men eh?!

LittleMissNorty · 13/04/2009 19:32

very bust eh? ....(that's my bloody job that is, my fingers automatically type breast )....busy I meant!

TALLULAHBELLE · 13/04/2009 19:40

Have had a very peaceful dinner with DD whilst DT2 sat in bouncy chair. Then fed DT whilst DD sat on potty & we read the rhymes in her book. DT had little nap, DD got her room tidied, teeth cleaned & jammies on & is now in bed. Just going to snuggle with DT2 who never gets any attention. Makes me think that 2 is a breeze though know wouldn't think so if only had the 2. And still got the rest of the night to get through so we'll see how that goes. Am missing DT1 though, keep picturing her grumpy wee face & am itching to phone just to hear her screaming in the background. love her really .

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 13/04/2009 19:46

DAisy - hope things are OK. Prob will be, but you've done the right thing getting it checked.

Fury - if it is the pox, enjoy!

T - bet you are really missing DT1, but enjoy your night of compative peace

And Ria - glad you enjoyed your knights!

FrazzledFairyFay · 13/04/2009 19:49

for your DD Daisy, please let us know how she is

TheNatty · 13/04/2009 20:40

any news daisy?

ive offended my sister by asking if she is gay in responce to a comment she made at my house yesterday about "not having kids now anyway"
why does family always get offened with being upfront? i hate pussyfooting about everyone!!

HellHathNoFury · 13/04/2009 20:42

And is she?

Some families do get offended by anything.

Although I am easily offended by my family... but then again that could just be because they are offensive people.

My website has had 170 hits today. How odd.

TheNatty · 13/04/2009 20:50

well she reckons she isnt and its cos she thinks kids "ruin you life"
but im not allowed to find that offensive..

BAH!!

170 hits eh? sounds good!

TheNatty · 13/04/2009 20:51

TheNatty · 13/04/2009 20:51

what is my computer playing at today?

HellHathNoFury · 13/04/2009 20:52

Natty I have a good friend that thinks kids ruin your life.
SHe's not a lesbian though (but you could be forgiven for questioning it).

To each their own I reckon. I never wanted kids until I met DH.
After today I sometimes still don't

LackaDAISYcal · 13/04/2009 20:52

DH just called. she is fine; teararsing around A&E and being a horror . Obs are fine, waiting on poison report (whatever that is) and they are keeping her in until 10 for observation.

the little wooden chairs are bing kept out of the kitchen...she totes it round with her and uses it to climb up. I use it as a stool to get to the high cupboards; I'll just have to come over all girly and pathetic and get DH to reach things for me!!

Missed earlier stuff and can't find it again.....is DS spotty fury, or just the pre spotty poorliness?

T, try not to worry about DT1 too much; I'm sure she is fine.....it's great that your mum and dad are close by and can help like that though....and that you can let one of the twins stay away overnight without it affecting your supply

Did you get your fluffy post today? No post here due to bank holiday so hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday.

That's great to hear Daisy. They really are sent to try us some days aren't they

TheNatty · 13/04/2009 20:56

aye i agree, each to their own, just bothered me that she can make sweep statements about my life, and my mum can tell me im crap at disciplining my kids yet im not allowed to ask if she is gay because of the way she said she wasnt have kids now like there was a reason for it.

grr

anyway rant over, i must learn to ignore my family more

so glad DD is ok daisy, thomas ate a gel air freshner at that age. kids!
