MORNING DAISY!
(am in a sunny mood)

Yesterday I was bloody AWFUL, I was a total cripple, today a bit of pain but much better. Rest certainly makes a difference.

How are you?

HellHathNoFury · 07/04/2009 09:59

lol yesterday also virtually incontinent, I should be nicknamed drippy knickers.

That was TMI wasn't it.

No such problems today, so the pain and leakage must be directly related... which makes sense really!

TheNatty · 07/04/2009 10:20

hello girls havent you been chatty this morning!
ive got to go into town today, and DH in bed as he didnt roll in from work leaving do till 6am this morning. going to ring the MAU in a bit when DC are not screaming and hanging off my legs

very envious of all the nice long walks, nowhere to walk around here that doesnt involve a main road

LittleMissNorty · 07/04/2009 10:30

Hope you get ok at hospital Natty.

Don't you live anywhere near Greenwich Park and Blackheath.....I love it there....and along by the river. I teach at the university sometimes down there and a walk along the river is lovely.

Riallytoofattoflounce · 07/04/2009 10:34

My 1st proper boyfriend at school was from Blackheath. I would love to get back in touch with him, but he's not on FB (he was a really good friend by the time he went off to college and I went off to my crap job)

Riallytoofattoflounce · 07/04/2009 10:35

right, off to clean to poo off the sofa.

LackaDAISYcal · 07/04/2009 10:37

I'm allright fury. New camera has arrived so I am waiting impatiently for the battery to charge. It is lurvely....all shiny and new and unscratched or paddy pawed by greasy children

The "always" version of tena lady are quite good, much slimmer than tenas and less like inco pads . try limiting your caffeine intake. I switched to decaf tea coffee and coke and it certainly helps with the bladder ishoos. I have been a bit lax and things are getting bad again

good luck at the hospital natty.

I need to get stuff for doing easter baskets for the DC. I think we might do an easter egg hunt.

poo on the sofa......lovely!

LackaDAISYcal · 07/04/2009 10:47

Was it DD or DS norty? I've forced DD into a bumgenius today; she was NOT happy about it!

OP posts:
LittleMissNorty · 07/04/2009 10:50

Not me.....Ria's last post was about going off to clean poo off the sofa! What a nice job! Hope they're leather! The best thing I ever done was buy dark brown leather sofas.....they have been puked on, shit on and all sorts by children, animals and adults....and it all just wipes off!

I checked DSs nappy a little while ago from the side and got poo all down my fingernails

TheNatty · 07/04/2009 10:51

its thomas' birthday on sunday so i think we are going to be doing an easter egg hunt for that
DH refusing to get out of bed, so looks like im going to hospital alone with the DC.. yay.
might as well have bloody gone yesterday

LittleMissNorty · 07/04/2009 10:53

Luckily DD doesn't moan about wearing nappies atm, but she is now holding it when she does a wee so she can feel herself going....which is the first step I suppose....and she wants changing the minute she does anything. Need to read up about potty training. We've got her a potty but she'll only sit on it fully clothed . Will wait until the better weather when she can run around in the nude.

LackaDAISYcal · 07/04/2009 10:55

bumble is trying to blow raspberries

gah I need to get a move on.....still not showered or dressed

Daisy I have a caffeine free lifestyle! No tea, coffee, coke, anything, the most I have is a choccy bar! Caffeine makes me atm.

Norty very envious of brown leather. We have cream microfibre sofas. With a kid. And a dog. Who's bleedin' stupid idea was THAT?!

TheNatty · 07/04/2009 11:12

lol fury we used to have green felt sofas, but kids killed them, so got a cheap second hand brown leather set on ebay!
brown leather is def the way to go!

LackaDAISYcal · 07/04/2009 12:15

new camera is fab

copes really well with wriggly, moving (ans scowling) children

OP posts:
LackaDAISYcal · 07/04/2009 12:16

no leather here until scratchgeriatric cat kicks the bucket; she ruined my mum's leather sofas

oh well fury, guess that's that idea busted then

OP posts:
TheNatty · 07/04/2009 12:27

hospital rubbsih
to busy to see me, and told me only to come in if i have a sudden gush, or if i bleed again.

oh well, im not going out today then, housework for me.

DH finally rolled out of bed lol, putting kids down for their naps soon, then we are going to build their slide, swing and plastic house set so we can kick them out there this afternoon and get the house tidy(ish)

i cant believe tom is going to be three. where does the time go.

oh and you know what, i think 3 kids might be enough for me, and ive never felt like this before i am usually broody all the way thru pregnancy and about a week after baby born i want another...

HellHathNoFury · 07/04/2009 12:46

Natty I feel for you

I hate London sometimes.

LittleMissNorty · 07/04/2009 13:05

That's awful.....the MAU at my place were always busy, and sometimes I had to sit and wait for over 3 hours when I was having my BP monitored, but they always saw me - as long as I was prepared to wait!

DD fell asleep over her lunch today....so perhaps a late morning nap?

thats how i feel butterfly.
i said to DH maybe we could adopt, and he said its an idea.

we'll see might go get myself a career (shock horror) instead of my 5 kids i wanted.

ask me again in 2 years lol!

LackaDAISYcal · 07/04/2009 13:44

sorry they wouldn't see you natty. I forget how lucky we are here with hospital services.

you're young enough to wait a few years and then have a few more natty. I really wish I'd started my family much younger.....forty and new babies is knackering.

I always wanted four; coming from a family of four myself. Ah well, have to make do with three...aside from the issue of DH's snip, it would need to be an immaculate conception!!!

HellHathNoFury · 07/04/2009 17:02

I am with you Daisy, Natty can always 'come back to it'!

I wish I was younger too in a way. Having DS has made me very aware of my own mortality.

On a lighter note, my new camera is a thing of beauty.
