OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Soph73 · 05/05/2009 09:25

Morning Scorpio Am very about your purchases.

DS1 is very excited today as he's taking his new swim hat and goggles to swimming today

KnitterInTheNW · 05/05/2009 09:33

Am pmsl at the fact that you all love the sound of a meat recipe made up by a veggie!

Very exciting about needing stretchy trousers Scorpio! Are you feeling any happier about it yet?

It's so cold this morning, I've got a thick jumper on and still cold, so put the heating on. You shouldn't need the heating on in May!

Where's Peachy and Ellie?

Soph73 · 05/05/2009 09:40

LOL Knitter Didn't realise you were veggie Don't know where they are, probably working hard ... which is really what I should be doing but, hey ho! Am in charge of Detentions this afternoon as DH isn't here

ScorpiowithabigS · 05/05/2009 09:43

Knitter we still have our heating on too. I am a person in need of central heating

I have always been happy about the baby, just very scared. Somehow being 7 weeks seems far more than 6, iyswim? plus i am getting fabulous symptoms so thats good. Had a dream last night that we had twins, sonographer said 'theres your fourth baby....and your fifth'

think DH would run, LOL

EllieG · 05/05/2009 09:46

Hey all! Nice weekends?

TOO busy at work last week to play - very annoying, stupid work getting in the way of MNing. Was on Duty and was all GOGOGO! with lots of nasty things that made me sad. Am defo much more emotional since having Molly, can't handle the work stuff the same way....

Right, am going to find some time to read back posts today and catch up, and woe betide you all if there are no posts going 'Where is Ellie?' for I will flounce.

ScorpiowithabigS · 05/05/2009 09:49

Where's Ellie???

Ellie, your work is very hard anyway, let alone whilst being a parent yourself. Be strong, you do so good

Soph73 · 05/05/2009 09:51

Hey Ellie .... if you're going to flounce, please make sure that you've got the proper flouncing attire on

Scorpio ... if that does happen, please make sure you get a picture of DH's face

ScorpiowithabigS · 05/05/2009 09:54

Soph - i won't have time to see his face LOL it will be a man shaped hole in the scanning room door

KnitterInTheNW · 05/05/2009 09:56

Oops Scprpio, I know you're over the moon about the baby, I meant happier as in not so scared = sad. IYSWIM. You know we'll all be sat here with baited breath waiting to here how many babies you're having, don't you? I had a dream a couple of nights ago that we did a house swap and then found myself working out yesterday where you were all going to sleep. Must have been a very vivid dream!

What do you have to do when you're supervising detention Soph? Look very stern or ignore them and MN?! I've been veggie for about 23 years now. Have no idea what the lamb tastes like, but G loves it and it smells lovely!

I don't think I could do what you do Ellie, you're made of stronger stuff than me. And brilliant at what you do too.

I may have a favour to ask you all later in the week, my friend who's an HR manager is helping me make a flyer to 'sell myself' as a nanny. The lady who runs the music class we go to has said she'll hand it out to all her classes, I'll ask at tumble tots too. When we've done it, could you all look and see if there's anything we could make better/omit/make me more appealing to a potential employer, please? (Oh, and then one of you move to Warrington so you can be my boss, too. Not too much to ask for, surely?)

KnitterInTheNW · 05/05/2009 09:57

HEAR not here... doh

ScorpiowithabigS · 05/05/2009 09:59

LOL Knitter you would be amazed at how we all fit in your house is probably bigger than mine! I am sure i am only having one baby; it will stick out so much easier this time; no tummy muscles, fourth baby...I'm gonna be mahoooooosive! My nan's fourth pregnancy was twins . Then one of her daughters had twins. My grandad is a twin. another set of his siblings are twins too. I just love winding DH up

ScorpiowithabigS · 05/05/2009 10:05

oh and i hate DH's ex. She has been internet stalkign his thai boxing fights and rung him up to say he did well. Beeatch.

(don't care if IABU)

Soph73 · 05/05/2009 10:06

ROFL at "man shaped hole ..."

Knitter - you got it in one Just like the rest of my day really. Look here and on the first picture of the main building, 2nd floor, the 3 windows on the right hand side - that's the Library. I'll see if I can find a piccie of me at my desk and then you can just paste a stern looking face on it

I was veggie for about 8 years, then I moved out of home and couldn't afford to be picky. Also I missed bacon sandwiches & kebabs after the pub Classy lass me

Soph73 · 05/05/2009 10:07

Scorpio - I know some people, who know some people, do you want me to send 'em round

ScorpiowithabigS · 05/05/2009 10:09
Grin
EllieG · 05/05/2009 12:17

Scorpio's idea of mahoosive will be looking bigger than a size 8 and not being able to get in to her hot pants when she's 8 months gone LOL

ScorpiowithabigS · 05/05/2009 12:27

I will have you know i LOVE being curvy and pregnant, i no longer look like a boy!

EllieG · 05/05/2009 12:56

Yeah and then you'll be on your Wii fit for 16 hours a day straight after the birth to work it off!

Speaking of that - drumroll please....

I got into my old jeans at the weekend! Whoop whoop!
(they are my old fat jeans, still can't get near the skinny ones yet, but is a start!)

Only a year after giving birth.....oops. Still have another nearly 2 stone to lose, but is all in the right direction. The trouble is, I am very lazy and like eating a lot, which is never a receipe for being teeny.

KnitterInTheNW · 05/05/2009 13:06

I'm just in my pre preg cropped summer trouser things, and I have to wear them with a v long top to cover camel toe too until they've stretched a bit!

ScorpiowithabigS · 05/05/2009 13:20

Don't have Wii fit anymore, didn't need it anymore. BF will make it come off then i can go back thai boxing when Dexter the baby has a bottle ok. Stop being mean!

Feeling not too sicky today, yay!

Soph73 · 05/05/2009 14:00

Well done Ellie I was very impressed when my mum was here because we went into Marks & Sparks and I can now get into a size 14 - yay. However, I still have loads to lose and have had since I had DS1 (6 years ago ) but I also like food & alcohol so that's a complete recipe for disaster

Scorpio - I see we're on names lists already then

Peachy · 05/05/2009 16:31

Hello all. Been away; Scorpio sorry we didnt get to visit this time, we weren't sure until we got there if we'd need to head straight back fir DH to work. We didn't, he is officially redundant from next month but on gardening leave. For some wonderful reason though his business is picking up a bit so he is working- just for himself (and obv therefore very poorly paid LOL).

We had a great weekend, met Mrs McCluskey from MN- she is sound.

Everyone here OK, Dh getting worried about Sebastian as he is showinhg a few asd traits but tehy are also terrible toddler ones (eg spits out all lumps in food, isnpicky about fruit and veg) so probably very premature at ths stage. abs's language is coming on though which is good.

how is everyone?

Soph73 · 05/05/2009 16:36

Hey Peachy, lovely to hear from you Not much to report here at the moment, just plodding along as usual.

Got a text from DH earlier to say that he's feeling much better and was out for a walk so he doesn't think it's swine flu ..... he's only saying that so I won't lock him in the garage you know

Soph73 · 05/05/2009 16:46

Home time in 5 - off to tidy up. See you tomorrow

SalLikesCoffee · 05/05/2009 20:13

Hello everyone! Just popping in quickly to say:
