Oooo! M's lower gums have started to feel very lumpy. I have an evening routine as she is terrible in the evening. I use Aston Parsons powders and bonjela every evening before her bedtime feed. Poor little loves! We have no Waitrose near us or I'd make DH shop there.

pepperrabbit · 02/04/2009 22:09

I'm off to bed too - night all.

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 22:09

DH misses Woolies too. Great for birthday presents for school chums. I need to go to bed too. I'm knackered.

Crikey my DD1 has size 3 feet. Nearly 4.

I meant a big car ladies. Not literally a tank. And no I do not have a big drive, (ronshar looks over her glasses at the use of the F word from CSWS)
In fact I struggle to get in every day. I think the men of the neighbour hood snigger behind their curtains at me. I have a big car because of all the children and the associated crap. It is a Volvo big thing.

Yes you can all come to me and we shall have a picnic on the beach.

Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2009 22:13

I'm off, night night all!

ronshar · 02/04/2009 22:14

Bugger missed you all.

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/04/2009 22:34

I'm here, but just for a mo.

An XC90 ronshar? Mine's bigger than yours .

Yes I'm in the middle of everyone, whoever asked, and a lovely countryside setting for a meet up , though a picnic on the beach sounds good. Is it you who's in Brighton? That's a direct train from Luton I think.

ronshar · 02/04/2009 22:47

Do I smell a Merc

I am happy to travel. I live near to Brighton. A crappy lovely town called Worthing. Its a seaside town. Direct train from Victoria, takes 1hr 15mins.

heather1980 · 02/04/2009 23:19

evening all,
pepper alex has a white bit under his gums at the bottom that have been there 2 months and still haven't come through yet!

i hate our local asda too, it's full of chavs and the great unwashed! it's in a really bad area of the town, i shop at tesco, which is quite nice but i work there so am biased and get staff discount.

i'm looking for a new car, i think i fancy a people carrier, for when we have the next baby and then i don't have to upgrade it again. anyone have a good suggestion?

mm when i was pregnant with my dd my feet grew, which was very odd i went from a 6 to a 7, and they never went down again so all my lovely pre child stilettos no longer fit grrr i also went from a 34c to a 36ff! my body is very strange.

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 23:20

Twas me who asked CSWS! I'm glad my geography isn't TOO bad!

Nobody want to come to skanky, nah, there's not even any point pretending! The town I live in is horrible, but I do live in the nice bit and my house is lovely. Plus there's nothing to do or see! Unless you like Dockyards! I use too many !!!!!!s must cut down.

Marthasmama · 03/04/2009 08:13

Heather - that was my biggest fear! I have loads of gorgeous shoes, they are my weakness. They are mainly plaforms too, so I haven't tried all of them on yet. Better do that..... When I lost weight atfer having ds, I went from my pre-pregancy 34E to a 30DD. But they were empty sacks of skin, I used to have to roll them up to put them in my bra! [sexy]

So, last one up at night, first one up in the morning. Or the most addicted, probably that one! DS is reading to M so Mummy can MN without feeling guilty. Yay! DO we need a new thread soon?

aubergenie · 03/04/2009 09:51

Oh no, you're all so chatty. I'm supposed to be packing for our weekend away but want to catch up with you lot.

Marthasmama · 03/04/2009 10:08

I've just had some sad news. My old friend from work called to tell me that one of our colleagues has died. She had been ill for a while but had been in work the day she died. She was found by her daughter, on the sofa with the TV on. She was 65. She was one of my favourite people at work, she was witty, intelligent and such an interesting woman. I missed her and I really regret not going to visit after I left.

heather1980 · 03/04/2009 10:11

mm- so sorry for your news, one of the guys from our allotment site died this week too. he had a massive brain anurism and was dead before he hit the floor. he was only in his early 60s too.

aubergenie · 03/04/2009 11:28

Sorry to hear your sad news about your colleague MM.

Marthasmama · 03/04/2009 11:45

Thanks guys. I mainly feel guilty, I'm sure she would have loved to have met M. I'm going make sure I take her to visit my old work chums soon.

Marthasmama · 03/04/2009 13:17

Wow - it's quiet on here today. Where is everybody? Are you playing on a new thread without me?

pepperrabbit · 03/04/2009 13:40

OOOOOH Easter emoticons
I LIKE those,
MM so sorry to hear about your friend, please don't beat yourself up about it, I'm sure she wouldn't want you to do that from your description of her.
DD slept all night..... 8pm to 6am... obvioulsy I didn't cos I was convinced something terrible must have happened.
She was so tired after being awake nearly all day that she just screamed her head off all through bathtime last night, which upset DS2, who's a sensitive little soul, so he ends up screaming, then DS1 threw water at me cos I @made him cross@ so I shouted at him and he screamed too.
DH and I just laughed - I mean what else can you do? It was horrific.
DD looks lovely in her new 1.75 red stripey trousers.
Does anyone have any idea where my pound sign might have gone?

pepperrabbit · 03/04/2009 13:42

BTW anything that says @ should say " cos they're a direct swap

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/04/2009 13:58

Hello - just a quickie so that mm doesn't feel lonely, but have friends due any min. Think dd has slapped cheek. Xmas Sad Meant she slept for 12.5 hrs last night though Xmas Shock. Ds was up before 6 though, having done a poo.

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 03/04/2009 14:00

Hello Pepper - You're probably right. I wish that M worked like that, but no matter how little she sleeps in the day, she still wakes up all night. She is screaming her head off in her cot at the mo. She's only been there about five mins, if that, so I'll get her in a minute. I had to have a time out as she is super tired and NOTHING is working! And of course she won't settle in her cot.

Marthasmama · 03/04/2009 15:44

Thank you CSWS! I thought M had done a poo in the night as she strained loads. But after waking he up to check, poor little lady only had wind. She was ! I like these bunnies. M LOVES bunnies! I might re-think the flower faries bedroom theme....

Honeymoonmummy · 03/04/2009 16:29

Hi all, MM sorry about your friend, CSWS I had no idea there was an illness called slapped cheek, I'm feeling headachey and mildly nauseous think due to drugs, loving the bunnies!

Marthasmama · 03/04/2009 17:50

Is everyone talked out today or have you got ACTUAL lives?!

Hello hmm. How are you feeling now? I know the drugs won't be working yet, but just wondered if you feel a bit better just for taking some action?

Haven't seen Myjob today, or well most of you!!! M has been really sleepy today. Her fake coughing has turned into a real cough and she's been a bit grumpy all day. She's going to the doctors tomorrow morning.
