Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
CantSleepWontSleep · 02/04/2009 20:40

I bang on about soya quite a bit on MN aubergenie, so it may well have been me. I will prob give ds an occasional soya yoghurt or other soya product, but not soya milk to drink.

Aunty Flo? What??? Is it a southern thing???

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/04/2009 21:05

Don't accuse us southerners of being weird. I think the idea is that she's a visitor who comes once a month.

OP posts:
pepperrabbit · 02/04/2009 21:13

Is it safe to come out yet?

Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2009 21:17

Oh FFS. And no Pepper, it's not alright. I think you need to stay away for at least another 10 minutes

ronshar · 02/04/2009 21:17

Aunt Flo mean your period. I only learnt that on the conception threads!!

Myjob, Great that Naomi is feeling a bit better. DD1 had such trouble with her ears. All good now though.

I can meet up pretty much any time. I will have to make the decision to big DD's or depending on the meet up place. DD1 is 9 going on 25 so soft play no good as it is BORING. DD2 is a bloody handful so anywhere with electric fencing would be great.

I drive and have a tank so I could do a drive by and pick up people if appropriate.

I would like to offer up some of my butt. If MM can offload some norkage then I am eager to get rid of my large bottom

Star I will second my admiration for you still BF. I struggle and some days I dont even leave the house except to take DDs to school and home again!

ER is on so I shall come back in a min.

Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2009 21:18

You have a tank ronshar? Cooool. How do you fit it in the driveway?

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/04/2009 21:20

ER on record. Watching American Idol a bit late as had Eastenders on first.

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 02/04/2009 21:21

She has a fuck off big driveway, obviously.

OP posts:
Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2009 21:25

We no longer need your shed CSWS. We can stay in Ronshar's tank.

Ekka · 02/04/2009 21:31

CSWS - I'll have to check with dh on the meeting up as we've not seen these friends since Jan (we used to live just down the road from them so saw them nearly every weekend) and he likes to spend ages remeniscing about their time in Russia.... But if I can persuade him to avoid the wine chats then it sounds a good plan!

Pepper - I can sympathise with your Asda experience, the one near here is scary, but funnily enough when I lived in East London there was a fantastic one near me & the one near my parents is actually quite nice too, much nicer than the Tesco. I get round it by buying their clothes for the dcs online! I'm up for a trip to surbiton/kingston if you are - though how on earth I manage our double on public transport is beyond me - I struggled with the single buggy.... Can't do escalators/tube with any kind of buggy at all!

Hmmmmm, kids in bed - check, washing machine on - check, clean washing folded - check, 9 odd socks with no obvious match - check.... I've never managed that number of odd socks before.... Think I need a drink!

Oh, and after moaning about Matthew's sleep, last night he went down at 7.30pm and then woke at 12.30am, but I managed to get myself totally tangled in bedcovers and by the time I was untangled he was back asleep. I then woke every 15 mins thinking he would wake, until I eventually had to wake him to feed at 3.30am as my boobs were about to explode! So I'm shattered today, but hoping he'll sleep as well tonight! We have been given an anti-histamine by the paed, which is probably helping (it does warn it may make you sleepy) so we'll see if he has another good sleep tonight.

ronshar · 02/04/2009 21:33

ronshar whispers I love Waitrose. We have no Asda the nearest is in brighton. A whole different class of scum lovely people.

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 21:36

Actually hmm I heard AF on IT Crowd and then saw that it was used on here so used it too. And was talking to my mum and suddenly realised that , Hollyoaks is set in Chester [thick]

I'm watching Would You Save A Stranger? Bloody hell, you lot talked so much I've missed why the bloke couldn't dial! I think he got shot.

Pepper - I hate ASDA too. We don't have a George near us, just the food shop but it is horrible. DS got hit in the head with a shopping basket and the women looked like she was going to have a go at me for it. Eeekk! But to be fair the ASDA near us does serve the worst area of town. We shop at Sainsbury (or M&S when we're feeling lazy )

Ronshar - You can keep your spare bit of bottom away from me!!! I certainly don't need it thank you! Could anyone give me some height? Or foot? I have size 2/3 feet and getting shoes is a pain in the bum. My mum came round and brought dinner so I'm stuffed again and had a day's worth of calories in one meal! We shoudl come and visit you in summer Ronshar as you're near the coast!

CSWS - Are you in the middle of all of us? My geography is terrible!!! And I would never have pegged you for an American Idol fan!!!

Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2009 21:40

Aww, have you been telling your mum about me? It's OK, Chester is in Cheshire I'm about 30 mins from Chester, DH works near there.

I have size 9 feet MM, I'll swap you some feet for some norkage?

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 21:41

Wow! Sounds like a good deal to me! I'll package some up and send it to you

Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2009 21:42

I dunno how you'll send it but I know how you'll measure it out

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 21:42

Oh and yes, I talk to my mummy about all of you lovely ladies and show her the pictures of your beautiful babies on FB! My mum lives 5 mins walk from me so I see her a lot.

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 21:43

Hee hee! DH isn't here at the mo, so you'll have to wait!

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 21:52

Oh I see. I come to play and you all bugger off with your ball!

pepperrabbit · 02/04/2009 21:54

MM - he got stabbed, the guy had a knife in his other hand. I'm watching too (obviously!) and it doesn't really make you want to get involved, but makes you feel guilty for it at the same time - that poor girl on the bus. Not comfortable viewing.
In desperate self defence - I used to buy all their clothes in Woolies or hand me downs. Ekka will agree - our town is just not the same anymore without Woolies, Adams and even Mahers the bookshop shut down. Tis disheartening.Ooh, adverts over..

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 21:57

Thank you pepper . I can't believe that nobody help that poor little 12 year old girl! I would have, I really hope I would have. That or I would have sent DH. DH stopped a young lad getting beaten up outside our house.

pepperrabbit · 02/04/2009 22:02

where did everyone else go?

Marthasmama · 02/04/2009 22:04

That's what I was wondering. I think I smell. I've not had time to have a bath tonight.

pepperrabbit · 02/04/2009 22:04

I've scared them off with my supermarket snobbery
Anyhow, skipping on from that, DD has a very small white bump on her gums that only her mother can see that could be a tooth!

Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2009 22:06

I miss Woolies

I have just watched The Apprentice. Am off to bed soon.
