hey guys

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Ohforfoxsake · 02/03/2009 21:37

AIBU to be miffed that the 'high-end prostitute' OP is OFFS.

Those are myyyyy initials

TheNatty · 02/03/2009 21:39

foxy i have NO idea what ur talking about

Ohforfoxsake · 02/03/2009 21:42

here

I meant 'high-end' prostitute thread.

I am a bit about it, not usually precious about a made up name, but I was pleased about Ohforfoxsake. Now I feel it has been tainted with this talk of shagging.

TheNatty · 02/03/2009 21:51

lmao foxy!

how are you this fine evening?

ive got my scan next friday.. just got appointment. ooh im excited!

LackaDAISYcal · 02/03/2009 21:59

you'll always be foxy to me lovely

Ohforfoxsake · 02/03/2009 22:03

LOL Daisy. It ain't that!

Exciting Natty! Will you find out the sex?

Mumsnet is shit. I don't like it anymore. Its just not a nice place to be anymore. A bit scary and strange ...

LackaDAISYcal · 02/03/2009 22:06

It is a lot more aggressive and nasty I think. I'm not on here nearly as much. Too busy playing scrabble with fairy and a couple of my November buddies!

LackaDAISYcal · 02/03/2009 22:07

natty, can't believe you are halfway there already. How exciting

keepingitRia · 02/03/2009 22:38

foxy, you could have a "sulky Ria" moment and change your name to Misstakenidentity (which I only thought of after I changed to the other identity name I had). They may be made up names, but I am very fond of Ria

jammy.

TheNatty · 03/03/2009 09:53

morning all, crashed out early last night sorry.

im not suprised you feel like that foxy, there have been a few nasty "natty" posters (nasty nat.. lol )
i agree mumsnet is not as fun, it seems to be as the public awareness of the sites existance has gone up (newpapers articles etc) more of the type of people who would typically post on sites such as netmums and babyandbump, are posting here as well.
imo they bring the site down (not all but some)

thats just my opinion tho, i hate chavvy people, MN is full of them atm.

wont be finding out the sex foxy, i want to but DH wants a suprise, and as ive found out the last two times i though i would treat DH!!

i cant believe im halfway already daisy, tho i look full term, people keep asking how many weeks i have left

LackaDAISYcal · 03/03/2009 10:15

When are you due Natty? If it's May, you might be interested in this

FrazzledFairyFay · 03/03/2009 10:57

Morning everyone.

I find the rest of MN less friendly than it used to be. I keep telling Dh that I'm going to leave, but you lot keep sucking me back in. My name's Fairy and I'm a MN addict

LackaDAISYcal · 03/03/2009 11:17

You can't leave fairy!!!!

By all means leave the rest of MN, but don't leave us

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 03/03/2009 11:51

I could happily ignore the rest of MN and just post on here.

I'm the same...every time I've started a thread, its been ignored....so I just come here and my Feb thread these days....that's difficult enough to keep up with atm...often done at the expense of paying attention to my children

LackaDAISYcal · 03/03/2009 12:33

have you got used to saying "my children" yet Norty?

I think I must word my thread titles badly. some I have posted have been ignored/not got many responses but others on a similar topic get loads. Especially in the breasft feeding bit. Or maybe folks read and think that because I have given out advice on other threads, I don't need help with my own issues???? I want to start one about my milk supply at the minute as I'm sure it dips when I'm having an attack as bumble has been feeding every two hours, as he did when I had the last one, but I'll probably get the "no it doesn't/it did for me/well you are clearly wrong" sort of comments.

Ohforfoxsake · 03/03/2009 12:33

I agree. Can take or leave the rest of it, but would miss you all

Since MNoldiegate I think a lot of people have gone and its a place full of strangers. Seeing familiar names made it just a nicer place to be.

Don't leave Fairy! You are one of us

Ohforfoxsake · 03/03/2009 12:35

I don't start many threads, but I had a wonderful response to my Manchester thread. Some really, really lovely people helped and I will get in touch with one or two of them at least when we go

TheNatty · 03/03/2009 12:42

not due till july daisy
thanks anyway

i stick to this thread, and occasionally my july antenatal.

ellen just randomly took her nappy off and poo'd in the potty.

LackaDAISYcal · 03/03/2009 12:48

your Manc thread was a good un foxy. there are some lovely MNers out there.

My little cherub will not settle today at all and I really need him to so I can have a sleep (feeding two hourly takes it's toll, especially with me feeling shoite). He just wants to be held and his farts seem to be causing him some discomfort. Could the cocodamol I'm taking be affecting him? He doesn't seem constipated by it though.

LittleMissNorty · 03/03/2009 13:02

don't know whether your painkiller will affect him or not Daisy but he's bound to pick up on your stress / discomfort....feeding a baby feeling like that can't be much fun

I tried Bumpers advice last night and bought E into bed with me....he just fought against me ....think he had tummy ache....took ages to settle him after both night feeds....in the end he was wimpering and fussing and I ignored him and woke up 2 hours later (to DD getting up) and he was asleep. God I can't wait till he's in his own room.

TheNatty · 03/03/2009 13:08

name change daisy and post about that issue. then u can be certain its not you!

i can imagine how tough things are for you atm, i hope you feel better soon, and bumble is ok

might be coming down with a bug? ellens had that tummy bug, loads of wind for 2-3 days b4 24 hours of diareeh?

LackaDAISYcal · 03/03/2009 13:29

I gave him some calpol and he has cheered up no end so obviously there was something going on. I think he is teething

I'm wondering whether to call my GP or the hospital. This pain just isn't shifting . I took two cocodamol at 9.30 and have had an hours respite from the pain and now it's back with a vengeance inspite of me taking nurofen as well. My poor children; all I do is bark at them.

bless bumble, he can suck his thumb and pick his nose at the same time
