Hiya Holly
Do overseas testers qualify? I'd pay postage!

Sputnik · 17/03/2009 15:09

come to think of it I'm in the UK for easter, could use my mum's address.

LittleMissNorty · 17/03/2009 16:34

My hand is up Holly unless DD is too young? We have some blocks and cars / trucks atm that were donated and she loves it.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/03/2009 18:16

Another hand up here please Holly, if there's any left (Curses for not getting a chance to use the internet at lunchtime today)

LackaDAISYcal · 17/03/2009 19:48

me me me, holly

whatever it is, we'll have some

right off to find out what it is and whether I'm too late.

I've hnad an email from the pr company that organised tots nappies for the M&B awards last year. They are looking for parents to join their panel of testers for various clients they have. She said to pass the email on to anyone I know who has babies, young children or are pregnant. No idea yet what it will involve, but anyone interested give me a shout and I'll forward the email on....when I get my laptop back!!

I am itchy and sore . My skin has come out in a horrible reaction to the adhesive in my wound dressings and I'm red raw with big watery blisters....ouchity ouch.

off to catch up.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/03/2009 19:58

well that didn't take long.....been quiet here today!

holly, sounds like you have your hands full with the DC and your web busines, but we miss you

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/03/2009 20:14

Hi again guys!

Thanks for that...right, on my list I have Jammy, Fairy, Tallulah, Norty, Sputnik and Daisy. I'm not sure how many sets the Duplo man wants tested, but I'll forward all your details to him. I def have all of your addresses (expect the sputnik parentals), but if I fb you all can you fb me back your addresses. It'll be easier that way, it will save me searching through my emails!

Daisy, would you be able to forward the details of that company to me? I can then contact them to say that you forwarded the details to me and that I have a site where I can post reviews. Are you ok? I missed your illness I think! Was the op to do with your gall bladder?

I find it really hard to get on the pooter nowadays. Not because I don't have the time, but because the dcs are on here all the farking time! Dd has her own profile and she can use You Tube and Google and has her own favourites set up. She is a real computer whizz! Ds is getting the same too. He can navigate through the whole Thomas website and do the colouring games and watch the videos all by himself! I have raised a couple of geeks!

Sputnik · 17/03/2009 20:18

My DD is like that too Holly, she could spend all day on the computer. Now I have limited her! The playhouse disney site is really good in case you haven't found it yet btw.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/03/2009 20:25

If I'm not using the computer I have to switch it off because I'll turn my back and she'll be straight in there like shit off a shovel! I hadn't thought of Playhouse Disney, thanks. She loves JoJo and the Doodlebops. I don't know if it's a good thing she is so confident on the Mac, will she get confused at school using a pc? I know pcs confuse me!

LackaDAISYcal · 17/03/2009 20:47

bloody hell holly, DS1 can't even switch the computer on here and has only recently learned how the TV remotes work...and I'm keen to keep it like that for as long as possible

Once my pooter is back up and running I'll forward the details to you.

yay for duplo

and yes, it was my gallbladder...got it done via DH's work health insurance scheme so didn't have to wait.....am so glad as the pain was fecking horrible

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/03/2009 21:03

Wow, that's really good. Yay for dh's health insurance. Glad you are better xxx

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/03/2009 21:06

Uh Oh!! Does one need a changing bag still when one no longer has a baby?

LackaDAISYcal · 17/03/2009 21:13

those look like practical bags for parents of any aged children holly.....>

ackcherly there was a thread the other day about if you take any ole handbag into a radley store they will give you £40 off one of their bags.....tempting isn't it? Pity there isn't a radley shop anywhere near me though

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/03/2009 21:17

Funnily enough I have just got that very same email! Alas no Radley store here either . Probably a good thing otherwise I'd have quite a collection by now. I only have 3 atm, but I could always do with a few more. 'Tis a v practical and stylish bag, if only I had a spare £70

FrazzledFairyFay · 17/03/2009 21:35

I'm always up for some testing Daisy, so pls send them m email address when you can, thanks.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/03/2009 21:37

I'll forward the email to you fairy as there are a few questions to answer about ages of your DC etc.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/03/2009 21:41

Can you forward that email to me as well please Daisy?

TheNatty · 17/03/2009 21:44

me too daisy.

and me to for the too for the duplo

long day im shattered. took ellen out in her new nappies and no leaks, yay!

gotta stay in and wait for sofas tomorrow, so will be on here ALLLLLL day if anyone wants to keep me company

FrazzledFairyFay · 17/03/2009 21:44

thanks Daisy

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/03/2009 21:49

I'm at work again tomorrow Natty

TALLULAHBELLE · 17/03/2009 22:02

Me too Daisy! Have you joined the totsbots forum yet? Or is it against the confidentiality agreement to say? Can't navigate the site at all. 'Tis v confusing for an old fogey.

Holly - I am hopeless on f/b can I e mail you my addy now?

Hi everyone else.

TALLULAHBELLE · 17/03/2009 22:07

Think I managed to F/B you Holly. Not quite as hopeless as I thought .

TheNatty · 17/03/2009 22:12

jammy

LackaDAISYcal · 17/03/2009 22:29

i've sent back the agreement but haven't heard annything else Tallulah. she did send an email reminding ma bout the agreement the day after i posted it and i said to give me the nod if she hadn't received it on Monday.....hopefully I'll hear soon. Am excited about testing some more nappies etc.

aaaargh just fed bumble and Dh is trying to settle him again while i have my lemsip, but he is having none of it.

I think i have just managed to circumvent another bout of mastitis....that'll teach me to go cold turkey on all the pumping i have been doing for the last two weeks!!

tallulah, how is the feeding going?

TALLULAHBELLE · 17/03/2009 22:43

Yeah - I got that reminder too Daisy, but I also got an e mail invite at the same time so worth chasing it up. Feeding going reasonably well - have avoided mastitis & thrush so far {T runs round touching all the wood she can find} but finding tandem really uncomfy & difficult. Also so depleted by evening that giving f/f as last feed before bed otherwise they just fuss on the breast & don't settle. Is so frustrating - the f/f gets us by but is obviously not helping the supply issue. Ah well....
