JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/03/2009 17:31

I have been having a RL, with half an eye on MN, and yes it has been very quiet.

TheNatty · 12/03/2009 17:37

oh got a back log of parcels in the post today, thank you for the shoes, will try them on DD and DS as soon as i get a spare minute, the whole house is upside down because we are moving alot of the furniture to other rooms.

hence why ive not been about today

Ohforfoxsake · 12/03/2009 17:51

you make it sound like having a RL is exciting ....

I have been on the go since 7 (apart from watching Doctors with a sarnie and WW chocolate eclair - oh the high life!). All dull stuff, putting the washing away, baking, taking kids to school, taking more kids to school, picking up kids from school, stripping pissy bed, washing bedding, redressing bed, putting shopping away, its all soooooo boring!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait for my weekend away next week. I've already decided what I'm going buy on the way to the train station for my lunch

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/03/2009 17:56

I walked 2.5 miles over to a friends house and we had a cuppa while the DCs played together. Then we walked back. And this afternoon I have helped jamlet with her puzzles, read to her, watched boogie beebies with her, cooked her tea and prepared ours for later.

Ohforfoxsake · 12/03/2009 18:08

that sounds like a lovely day Jammy!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/03/2009 18:12

It was

Ohforfoxsake · 12/03/2009 18:25

I'm pooped! Just done the Davina superfit workout again (1st time was last Thursday.) I wasn't quite so bad tonight, but I did opt for a few more of the "cop outs" . Still looking like that blushing face though and soaked with "glow" (I am a lady you know!) so it must have still done me some good though.

Ohforfoxsake · 12/03/2009 19:55

Ooh, I meant to ask you about that the other day. Is it any good? Its been rated pretty well as far as home fitness goes, or will it go the same way as my Wii Fit? (Dusty, under the sofa, no time)

Ohforfoxsake · 12/03/2009 20:01

I'm off to watch Jade's wedding. I will not doubt shed a tear or two

Ohforfoxsake · 12/03/2009 20:01

no doubt even

TALLULAHBELLE · 12/03/2009 20:51

Hi All - not been able to get on for aaaages but all 3 DD's bedded down, DH dispatched to pub & I've a wee glass of sauv. blanc n big bag crisps so off to catch up on all I've missed. Later.

TheNatty · 12/03/2009 20:54

the wedding is on living isnt it? drat!

ive been trialing my new nappies all day, moving the toys from upstairs to the living room (so they actually play with them) putting the dining table in the kitchen, the fridge freezer under the stairs, the desk in the bedroom and the tumble dryer in the living room (for the time being noisy thing!!)

so yeah.. busy day

and my house STILL looks like a sh*t tip..

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/03/2009 21:51

Well I've only done it twice Foxy, but it seems pretty good. Then again I have no yardstick to measure it by really, not having really dabbled much in home exercise equipments or DVDs. (Other than my trusty pilates DVD and some hand weights.) But I will say the routine I've done is 40 mins (inc 10 mins warm up and almost 10 mins cool down) but it does fly by I find the exercise level quite hard but enjoyable.

LackaDAISYcal · 12/03/2009 22:00

Hello
Mr Daisy here-Daisy has had her op and is easonable comfortable- I think. She has had some very strong painkillers and her eyes keep rolling about and she repeats the same sentence about 10 times.
Only a slight change to normal really

i am sure she will give you all the detials tomorrow

MR D

LittleMissNorty · 12/03/2009 22:41

Glad she has had it done and hope all is OK.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 13/03/2009 09:35

Hope all is well with all the Daisys this morning

Natty, sounds like you were very industrious yesterday! Hope your efforts are rewarded

I'm volunteering at a Red Nose thing at our children's centre this afternoon. Taking jamlet swimming first though, then will go straight from the pool to the centre and eat our lunch there before the fun starts. So I've just packed towels, underwear for me, nappy for her (we will go in our cossies under our clothes), general stuff for me, a packed lunch for both of us, a change of clothes and more nappies for her for being out this afternoon, red noses (of course) and a library book I need to return on the way to the pool. I feel more like I'm undertaking an artic expedition than going for a splash and a bit of fun! I haven't had to pack this much stuff since she was tiny. Actually I'm not sure I ever took this much stuff out even then
