I FUCKING HATE REVISION

Ohforfoxsake · 10/03/2009 20:58

oh I don't bloody know then.

A nanny

Allllllllllllright Fury?

Ohforfoxsake · 10/03/2009 21:02

these are my shoes

to go with the dress for the wedding.

Not too OTT?

LittleMissNorty · 10/03/2009 21:18

Shoes are fab Foxy

LO is asleep in his swing ....he is still getting over his cold and was particularly attention seeking this afternoon...I did have to put him down and take five as I wasn't thinking very nice thoughts as I just couldn't do anything. Can't remember ever getting like that with DD. He's had a feed, puke and change of clothes and is asleep now....thank god!

DD in bed having had 5ml of Calpol night and temp is down to normal...hope it stays that way as I really want her to go to nursery tomorrow. My mum is having LO and I'm going to the osteopath....done my back in big time and haven't got out of the house for over 2 weeks now.

Hope Bumble is OK Daisy.....can't wait for that magic 8 weeks so I can administer Calpol!

Sex would definitely do the trick here Foxy....but am too knackered / fat / covered in sick / can't be bothered etc ....oh and have my first period since March last year

Jammy, DD helps us feed the cat & dog each day.....the dog especially dribbles like mad as it takes her ages to carry the bowl from the kitchen to his mat, put it down and give him permission to eat

Have a fab time Fairy.....

LittleMissNorty · 10/03/2009 21:19

btw....is anyone using 10mls of calpol now? I noticed on the side of the bottle that ages 1-6 years can have 2 x 5ml.....

LackaDAISYcal · 10/03/2009 21:20

lol at nanny...in fact rofl pmsl at nanny

oooh, I like those shoes. Very racy.

did you link your frock? I want to see it!you didn't go for one from that style your own website place did you?

bumble has finally settled and is asleep, but he looks very pale. He is still giving out the odd whimper, bless him, and holding on to his muslin for dear life. He is going to be an attachment thing child I just know it. None of the other two were this clingy with toys/blankets/cloths. His favourite is DD's lilac "sugar and spice" taggy blanket.

Ohforfoxsake · 10/03/2009 21:24

the dress

LackaDAISYcal · 10/03/2009 21:26

oooh, that's lovely. you're going to look fantastic. bag? hat?

you're not bidding on that one are you?

Ohforfoxsake · 10/03/2009 21:29

no, not that one. Don't know about a bag. I have a wee black feathery 'fascinator' and a black bolero cardi, so could have a black bag, and black ballet pumps if my feet hurt. Which they won't, because I luuuurve those 'Dorothy' shoes.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/03/2009 21:39

Oooooh, that's the dress that I've got that I am aiming to fit into again for my DNiece's wedding end of July - only mine is in green!

Love the shoes too, but totally NOT suitable for me. I wouldn't be able to stand up in 'em, let alone walk! But you've made me think - if I've not spent on a dress (because I am going to be able to wear it!) then surely I can spend on some shoes...??

Did a double dose of pilates earlier (2 x 25 minutes) and legs ache now, but it is good. Am a bit anxious about gym tomorrow though with my new harder set of circuits.

Ohforfoxsake · 10/03/2009 21:42

Crikey Jammy, you are doing really well! I've fallen off the exercise wagon as I did my neck in last week. Now its better DP is buggering off until Sunday night, so no chance to get to the gym/run til Monday.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/03/2009 21:53

Thanks Foxy, but I have to do well because I've got such a way to go. If I want to get "there" this decade that is!

LackaDAISYcal · 10/03/2009 22:06

jammy, you are putting me to shame. So much for my new decade new me pledge

mind you, as I've spent three out of the last six weeks racked with pain.......ah well, once I'm fit again after my op!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/03/2009 22:09

I think you have a perfect excuse for taking it easy for a bit Daisy. And it's not like you're eating loads or anything! Plenty of time to get fit when you are well.

LackaDAISYcal · 10/03/2009 22:15

fortunately (or is it unfortunately) maynards sports mixture is fat free

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/03/2009 22:22

Oh bugger. My BIL is coming back from Oz. My poor sister!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/03/2009 22:38

Night all

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 11/03/2009 12:35

Hulloooo...anybody there?!

I hadn't flounced, I was giving mothering and housewifery a go. My house is still a shit hole and my dcs are still little buggers, so I've given up on that malarkey. MN is much more fun!

Hope everyone is well and hope the new small people are growing big and strong! I'll be back later to catch up, dp is coming home in a minute to do some work from home, so I might not be able to get back on until after dinner. I just wanted to get on and save my place for later!!

Love you guys xxx

Hi Holly, Butterfly
I'm worn out. Gym was hard this morning what with the extra weights, and then 1.5 mile uphill walk to the children's centre, then 2 hours there with jamlet. We did get cauliflower cheese for lunch though Thankfully she is worn out too and has gone down for a nap without too much protest.

Exam done - badly
Walked home thanks to shitty underground
Power cut fixed - twice
Dog fed
DS fed
DS soothed after evil power cut and banging head
DS learnt the word 'Shit' after mummy fell down the stairs
Bills paid
Admin done
DH is away at a conference

Crisis averted, my time is now my own

Ohforfoxsake · 11/03/2009 20:33

How uncanny! LO said shit today too, apparently. DS2 said it was their fault. Which it was, obviously.

LackaDAISYcal · 11/03/2009 20:50

evening all

I have been pooterless today. I sent the battery pack to work with DH so I wouldn't be tempted by MN and you wouldn't believe what I managed to achieve. DH is knocking on my forehead and asking if he can have his wofe back as the Stepford version is scaring him

are you allright after your fall fury? take it easy

DD knows several bad words thanks to me...faves are bugger, pucking and bollow, and pucking bollow together is just a hoot

good luck with the essays butterfly. I'm going to sort out getting started on the course next week when I'm sitting around all day doing nothing.

I'm feeling decidedly ropey with the cold and hoping that it won't jeopardise my op tomorrow.

Hi holly good to have you back with us. Have you registered for the M&B awards? I've managed to pick up some other testing as well now.....I'm on the tots testing forum (or will be when they get my confidentiality agreement) and then tots PR company have contacted me about doing some other stuff. Which reminds me, I'm in M&B magzine this month....need to get out and buy a copy!!

I'll be sending your cocoon back soon as we are done using it, but I need to clean it as we had a bit of a puke explosion in it the other week. Do you know if it can go in the washing machine? or do I need to dry clean it?

Right, I'm off to have some hot lemon for this cold and have an early night and hope I get some sleep

Ria sent a text earlier, she is having pooter issues again!!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 11/03/2009 21:07

Daisy (if you see this in time) hope your cold isn't anything serious and that all goes well tomorrow!
