Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
FrazzledFairyFay · 06/03/2009 17:59

yay for Jammy's DH

Bumperslucious · 06/03/2009 18:22

Hello

Firstly I would like to recind yesterday's comment to fairy, if you don't want to go abroad on your own that is completely understandable, I was just very envious, but you are not silly at all.

I'm am going alovely shade of green here at your planned spa trip, I would love a spa break. Certainly not going to happen here though, not even sure how I'm going to fund my extension in the States, hopefully I can make money back on expenses, travel time etc. to cover it. Why can't I have a DH who makes lots of money? It sucks being the breadwinner!

Thanks for your support on my thread. DD went to nursery today and was fine, has come back covered in food though obviously wasn't wearing a bib, and they forgot her puffer this morning . Never mind though, she seemed to have a good time and apparently only had 2 wobbles when some prospective parents came to look around and at hometime when other people's parents started turning up, bless her.

DH is working tomorrow, I'm fecking exhauted!

Norty, hope you are feeling calmer. I feel your pain, I cried yesterday (combination of DD sobbing, hammering from upstairs, tiredness, anxiety of today and people being mean to me on my thread).

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/03/2009 19:03

Hi Bumper. Sorry you're exhausted. I was close to tears this afternoon myself. Glad DD got on OK at nursery.

Norty, Daisy - not saying you'd want to do it, but thought you might be interested in this?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/03/2009 19:04

The "The rest of your day will be spent visiting the bathroom expelling gallstones and other matter from your Liver and Gallbladder" bit makes it sound particularly appealing!

FrazzledFairyFay · 06/03/2009 19:11

mmm sounds delightful . i looked at their detox programmes and was particularly tempted b the thought of a 'self-administered colonic'

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/03/2009 19:19

Yes, I was at that Fairy. I read their reasoning as to why it is self administered (they claim so that you feel in control) and thought ", they don't want to have to pay the staff enough to get them to push tubes up people's bums!"

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/03/2009 19:20

Detox aside, it is a lovely place. I have been twice for a day spa in the past.

LittleMissNorty · 06/03/2009 19:45

Bloody hell .....that looks terrifying.

Olive oil and grapefruit juice

Can't belive paople pay for things like that!

Feel calmer now....she is in bed....my god she tested my patience today. She was a little angel when daddy came home . At one point they were competing with each other to see who could scream the loudest....I videoed it as it was so surreal...

think its attention seeking as when I sat on the floor with her doing Lego, she was delightful.....I am obviously not spending enough time with her

Glad DD got on OK Bumper....my DD loves nursery (and we love it when she goes!)

LittleMissNorty · 06/03/2009 19:50

Bumper - coming home covered in food / snot / paint / mud is quite normal. Don't send her in white clothes or anything too decent. We have "nursery clothes" in this house (including a pair of trainers and coat for playing outside).

LackaDAISYcal · 06/03/2009 19:54

farking hell....having spent the better part of four weeks in agony due to the unwanted expulsion of gallstones.......I can't imagine anything more horrific than actually bringing it on deliberately

they don't mention a morphine drip by any chance do they?

LackaDAISYcal · 06/03/2009 19:59

god yes bumper.....cheap or old clothes for nursery. although if you believe that thread the other day, the staff are mean to the children who aren't in designer gear

DD was sent to bed early tonight as well. she didn't have a nap this afternoon and was horrible as a result. for some inexpicable reason she does that thing where she goes inot hyperdrive when she is tired. I think it's because if she stops she'll just collapse in a heap.

and bumper, if you thought you were getting a hard time, you should look at the thread about teething and wind being a lot of nonsense. the OP of that is getting a lot of flack!!

LackaDAISYcal · 06/03/2009 20:00

and I didn't realise DD had a puffer . Does she have asthma or is it to help her get over a chest infection?

I'll shut up now shall I? this is what happens when I'm stuck in with a screaming baby all day!

Ohforfoxsake · 06/03/2009 20:21

I thought you meant puffer, as in jacket

TheNatty · 06/03/2009 20:25
