Seeing POTC and her boys today They are currently at my outlaws house, bless 'em. POTC had a bit of a nightmare journey by the sounds of things On the plus side, she did get to see all the pretty little villages around were I live & chat up a cute Policeman to find her way to the house

No snow here, bit nippy; but nice & sunny. Think we will wrap up warm and head to the farm

Northernlurker · 14/02/2009 10:26

Have a good time Dippy - golly POTC is brave to stay with your outlaws!

We're off out shortly to the farm shop then Ikea where we're meeting friends. We need to give them back their isofix base which we borrowed for B as their next baby is due next month! Our other reason for going is to buy a lot of meatballs!!

runnyhabbit · 14/02/2009 16:13

So Dippy, how is dd1 "technically" welsh?

I take it she will be supporting the reds in the rugby today

And if anyone sees me on here today, please kick me off as I'm meant to be packing stuff away. Builders start Monday.

(and as you can prob tell, I'm feeling much better)

CaptainDippy · 14/02/2009 19:21

Yey for Ikea meatballs

My outlaws are in New Zealand so POTC wasn't that brave Was sooooo lovely to see her & her boys. Had a nice picnic and explore at local Activity Park.

DD1 was born in Llandough, runny. I don't know if she supports the reds, you'd have to ask her yourself

Evening ladies

NL, enjoy your meatballs

Dippy, glad you had a lovely time with POTC and her boys.

Oooggs, thinking about you still, and hoping you are ok.

Elkie, how are you getting on?

Any word from Leaky?

Runny glad you are recovered. Well done on the rugby result!

Hope everyone else is ok.

All ok here. Off on holiday for a few days tomorrow. Not looking forward to it tbh- we seem to have booked dreadful flight times each way! I am sure it will be fine, but have some reservations. K and B are under the weather for one.

Anyway, need to get off my arse and get sorted. See you tomorrow lovelies. xx

oooggs · 15/02/2009 07:47

ds3 can feed on me (both sides) totalling 1.5 hours - I am exhausted and he still doesn't settle. Yet when given 5oz (20 mins) of formula he is content and sleeps.

I am so torn and feel so guilty - I was so desperate to b/f (haven't stopped yet) but the settling and time is also a factor. I have no idea what to do.

We are on half term with a training day either side , weather is pants and I am missing my mn time in the evening whwn instead I am either in bed asleep or feeding Luke and watching DIY SOS!!!!!!!!!!

DTs sleeping really well and are angels but ds1 is pushing it again and is so demanding.

Hope Elkie & Conor are doing well

liath · 15/02/2009 08:07

Morning.

Oooggs, you sound knackered, poor thing. 5oz formula isn't the end of the world and you have to do what's best for you and ds in the circumstances - the important thing is for you to be able to function (and not wind up with PND!) so if a little formula helps then so be it.

GM, that's great news about the wedding .

Enjoy the holiday SOL.

Hope everyone with grotty tummies are feeling better. I had a vomiting bug on my birthday last weekend so that was nice .

StealthPolarBear · 15/02/2009 08:11

Morning all

oooggs, sorry things are still tough. How would you feel about mix feeding, and fully ff? Glad the DTs are being good - howw are they taking to L?

StealthPolarBear · 15/02/2009 08:57

DH has just had a text from his friend. He and his DW lost a baby at about 20 weeks a year and a bit ago. She has just had a baby boy this morning

CaptainDippy · 15/02/2009 21:18

Wonderful news SPB

Cut yourself some slack. You are doing a sterling job. If the formula works and you feel ok with it; then DO IT. You are NOT Super Woman!! xxxx
