Bramshott, we only have one stairgate at the top of the stairs, still feel a need for it - downstairs stairs go straight up from our front room so D is in sight of us in the sitting room, I've concluded I'm more nervous in homes with a separate hallway! - but I think it depends on you and your child and how you have things organised.

11 + 5 already SPB, wow! 12 September is the birthday of a very special grown up in my life, he was my mum's dp when I was little and I really adored him.
Spent this afternoon at hospital again, a bit of a drag having to trek up there but much more positive than last Thursday's visit which left me feeling furious - long story. Conor's weight had increased from 4.6 kg on Monday to 4.73 today and the consultant seemed very happy with that.
Tomorrow we have an NCT antenatal class meet up - the third I've got to but first with baby in tow for me and I think a couple of the others.
Am not getting any email on my main email address (ISP provided one) and have no idea what's up, as dp is still getting his linked to the same account. It's most irritating, just hope I don't miss any messages about Conor's birth or anything particularly important like that.
