Hey Hipho! Are you sure you're not EVERYONE on this thread, and you just change your name every time. has paranoia from Toffee Crisp cold turkey

Loulou thanks, I'm eating fish, the Osteocare tabs don't have B12 so I'll use the Pregnacare bf ing vits I was on before.

Honeymoonmummy · 25/02/2009 17:54

Ummm - that was supposed to say

aubergenie · 25/02/2009 17:57

He he to your new name MM. I love Flight of the Conchords.

I'm glad your new dairy-free diet has started well HMM.

A friend of mine's baby has just been diagnosed with reflux. She's been told she needs to cut out dairy, wheat, coffee, alcohol and onions (which I would probably find most difficult). Poor thing.

I find that the amount I can express seems to vary hugely CSWS. I've done 5 oz in 10 mins and other times I can barely get one. Very odd.

You two do the worrying, and I'll do the remembering and searching. Posted by Ekka on 11th Feb...
'wow, what an epic post, sorry ladies! I blame it on the fact we're off to my parents on Monday after ds' 3rd set of jabs, & I'll be without mn for nearly 2 weeks'
I guess we'll see her again next week .

Aren't they supposed to have about a pint of milk regardless of which kind? Obv if bf directly one can only assume that they take enough. If you're doing 2 direct bf and 3 bottles then I guess you'd just divide the total by 5 and give 1/5 in each bottle?

About to hit send and now just thinking isn't 1 pint the amount that they have after they are 1, rather than before?

I don't know really! I've never had to worry about quantities of milk because I've only ever bf!

My "W" has virtually given up on my laptop tonight Myjob, perhaps it's contagious!

I weighed myself before - I hope to god I lose weight on this dairy-free diet!!!

DH did me a lovely tea but unfortunately put pizza express ceasar salad dressing on the salad - I forgot to tell him I couldn't have it!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 21:04

d'oh for your dh!
You won't lose weight if you live on df choc spread and choc buttons .
In the interests of research, I bought some of the G&Bs choc dipped cereal bars that franny recommended today, in 2 diff flavours. I am pleased to report that both are yummy .

The 'a' on my keyboard is struggling. I have to keep going back to my posts and adding them at the end!

Aubergenie, that's a lot to cut out! Any particular reason why so many?

Marthasmama · 25/02/2009 21:10

CSWS - I was showing DH the lovely picture of your DS (who he agrees is a fine looking lad) and noticed DD's playhouse. He is very at the fields in the background! Where did you get the G&B bars from? Have they got bibbies (bibbies = rasins, currents or sultanas) in? I usually settle for choc covered rice cakes when I'm dieting as I ALWAYS need chocolate in some form.

Honeymoonmummy · 25/02/2009 21:13

Oh the salad was just the side bit! Had fresh tuna with garlic and pasta. He's a wonder in the kitchen, my DH. Good job one of us is!!!!

MyJob, does it say in the 0-5 book? I'm upstairs at the mo but will check when I'm downstairs. Sorry to hear about your stye, at least you don't have a lovebite on your chin...

WWWWWWWWWWWW Goddammit!!!!!!!!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 21:15

We have fields front and back MM . Live in a little cluster of 6 cottages (we only live in one of them, obv) surrounded by farmland.

Got the bars from Waitrose, but I bet that all the supermarkets sell them. Dh just checking packets for me - no to 'bibbies'!

I've got a stye today too myjob! I hardly ever get them. Not so much noticeable as sore.

Re losing weight, I was getting through sooo much chocolate it was silly. I knew I was eating too much even for BFing. The dairy-free thing will I hope calm me down a bit. It was the first time I'd weighed myself in about 6 weeks and I've put on approx 5 pounds in that time!!!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 21:24

If any of you watch Desperate Housewives btw, it restarts tonight at 10pm on channel 4.

You keep mentioning chocolate on here dairy free by the by you still keep talking about it.... I get hungry everytime I come on here now!!! any excuse

All well here. Nothing really to report.

DD2 now 14lbs 3oz and right at the top on her length which is no surprise as we are all tall here but she is longer than dd1 was, her legs sometimes even hang off the bouncing chair!

Still not got a buggy sorted yet, in no hurry but am addicted to looking.
Am also ebaying stuff so seem to be on there all the time as well as Facebook too! Its my social life !!

Got day at home tomorrow so baking smartie cakes with dd1.

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 21:42

Thought of you today jenwa, as I was buying medised in Boots. 3 of their display bottles said from 2 years, and 1 said from 3 months!

OP posts:
jenwa · 25/02/2009 21:48

Oh, you would think they should change all the labels! I know they are changing it but surely if its for a health and safety point of view then they should take them all off the shelf and change them !

Honeymoonmummy · 25/02/2009 21:53

Just checked 0-5 book re weaning; "[Once weaned] your baby should still be having breast milk or a minimum of 500-600ml (about a pint) of infant formula milk." Also, just read that babies shouldn't have honey until age 1 - I didn't know that!
