Hope DS2 is better soon, Ria.

Well, shortly after my last post I was sick and felt much better for it. Then we both went for naps which has helped loads. And finally we are dressed and back on the sofa for cbeebies and cuddles.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/02/2009 10:32

Is the car being replaced Daisy?

keepingitRia · 23/02/2009 10:40

DH went back to bed "for an hour" 2 hours ago. I am getting a little annoyed because we have stuff to do and I have to be in at 2pm for a tutorial(can't go out after that as need to be in for DS1 gettin ghome, and DH has a bloody arseholes governors meeting later). He is going to achieve nothing again (the paperwork has been on the table in the other room since just after christmas and it is still there.) It is SO frustrating.

we are listening to Giggle on FUNkids radio

LoveaDAISYcal · 23/02/2009 11:08

DH has got a company car with his new job jammy, so it's his "old" car. We used one of those buy over the internet companies as we couldn't be arsed trying to sell it privately in these crunchy times. We didn't get a great price for it (worth mush more privately), but it was hassle free and as DH's car allowance has paid for it in full, it was pure profit iyswim.

Bumble is teething. I can feel and see the tooth under the gum and he is gnawing on everything, including my nipple

are you feeling better jammy?

ria, go and hoover the bedroom; that'll get him moving

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/02/2009 11:30

Ah, I see. And don't blame you over the internet sale thing. Some things (lack of stress) are worth more than the money.

Feeling a little more together. Tummy still gurgling, but can hold for a couple of mins now, instead of HAVING to run to loo RIGHT NOW - very handy when dealing with jamlet. But am tired and feel like I've been kicked in the guts

HellHathNoFury · 23/02/2009 12:05

Can't post on facebook as people read it there. This place is safe from people I know in RL.

So just want to say, out loud, that sometimes, I REALLY HATE my family.

there, that's better.

LackaDAISYcal · 23/02/2009 12:35

oh dear fury; doesn't sound good

LittleMissNorty · 23/02/2009 13:35

Hello everyone....

JAmmy.....hope you feel better soon.....cbeebies and cuddles it sounds like...

I'm so tired.....DD was obviously a very good baby

LackaDAISYcal · 23/02/2009 14:21

norty, it's just more exhausting when you have another one to look after as well. I don't know what's hit me this time, as DD was like a first one again since DS was already at school.....now when DD and bumble are screaming at the same time I just want to sit in the corner and scream myself!

I have just removed half a carrier bag full of bits of toys, small toys like cars and sticklebricks, stale raisins and other associated bits of crap from under the cushions on our two sofas . No money though

Ohforfoxsake · 23/02/2009 14:50

don't worry Daisy, we have to wipe our feet when we get out of our car

what's up Fury? My family make me very sad sometimes. They are just crap.

FrazzledFairyFay · 23/02/2009 15:17

Norty, the first few months of having two is particularly exhausting. Now that DS is the age that DD was when I had him, i realise how much of a baby they really are at 20 months. When I had DS, DD seemed so grown-up but she really wasn't, and still needed a lot of my time and attention. It does get easier, honestly.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/02/2009 16:48

Sorry it's so hard atm Norty.

I just ate half slice toast (no butter) and am now a right gurgle guts

keepingitRia · 23/02/2009 17:35

just took baggins to the park on his trike

we had to go to the park after DS1 flew his R/C aeroplane into the next door garden. I managed to fly it over the hedge at the park/Luckily it didn't go in the grumpy old man's garden (DM&Fs house backs onto the parl) baggins smells like he might have a sore throat.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/02/2009 17:48

how does a sore throat smell?

keepingitRia · 23/02/2009 18:20

hard to decribe jammy. could be a cold butit smelt throaty!

HellHathNoFury · 23/02/2009 19:08

they undermine my parenting. tell me I dress like shit. tell me the choices I make are wrong. tell me I know nothing.

I go from being a happy, confident bunny to a tearful emotionally shredded wreck after just a couple of days with my family.

Bless 'em.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/02/2009 19:10

families eh?
One thing's for sure - you can't choose them!

Ohforfoxsake · 23/02/2009 19:23

I thought that was fairly standard Fury! But I'm sorry they make you feel like shit, because you aren't. You are great. And you know I mean that sincerely.

Sorry to hear you aren't well Jammy, but think of the weight-loss Always a silver lining ...

Ria, do you mean the sort-of-metallic breath-smell?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/02/2009 19:29

Evening Foxy. Yes, the weight loss will be a bonus And having today off work as sick leave for me being sick myself rather than as holiday for looking after a sick jamlet I'm feeling better now though washed out. I got jamlet to bed and then did 35 mins light chores (hang up wet washing, fold up nappies, load dishwasher ...) and came over really woozy by the time I'd finished, so much that I almost fell over . So I am having a sit down and catching up with my fluid intake and trying to decide if I want to eat or not...

HellHathNoFury · 23/02/2009 19:42

jammy you sound like I was when I decided to do a PG test....anything you want to tell us?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/02/2009 19:45

Nah, I think it's just a consequence of not eating anything all day. I'd be very surprised if I were pg, seeing as I've had 2 periods since the start of Feb, and haven't quite finished the 2nd of those yet!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/02/2009 19:45

Sorry!

Ohforfoxsake · 23/02/2009 19:53

Its crap Jammy. I don't get sick very often, but when I do, its always when DP is away.

You feeling any better Fury?

HellHathNoFury · 23/02/2009 19:58

yes thanks foxy.
After a month of sore throats, colds, cough, and first trimester fainting and vomiting, I then got food poisoning from burger king over the weekend.
Not good when PG.
DH had it as well.

But! Touch wood! I am well today, yayyyyyy!
How are you?
