Snow. But no schools closed I have known them close for less than this. Poor DSs (though DS2 wanted to go)

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 09/02/2009 10:55

morning all.
no snow here thank god, i need to go the shop!
so what everyone up to today?

Bumperslucious · 09/02/2009 11:04

Hello,

I'm off work today as DH is on a course. DD is back in bed already . Fortunately I have a friend coming round for lunch to break up the monotony!

morning....sorry for me post coming up.

i disappeared quickly last night. I had had a gripey tummy so took some gaviscon. Ten minutes later I was writhing on the floor in agony; think as bad as contractions . Called NHS direct after half an hour of palpitations, clamminess, sweating, feeling faint and generally like I was dying and they sent an ambulance. It had calmed down a bit by the time they arrived and all the checks they did were fine so I declined a visit to hospital (14 week old BF baby and all), but it kicked off again a bit later and I've spent the whole night awake and in pain. My kidneys are aching this morning and stomach spasming intermittently . Soooo off to the docs this afternoon. DH has had to take the day off work (and is now very aware how impossible it is to get things done around here with a toddler and a baby ). I'm off back to bed until it's time for the docs.

LackaDAISYcal · 09/02/2009 11:12

and lol foxy, we're quite civilised up here with cars and garages and everything

Bumperslucious · 09/02/2009 11:22

Oh daisy, poor you? It's not appendicitis is it? I hope they figure out what it is. Good luck to DH!

OP posts:
LackaDAISYcal · 09/02/2009 11:25

don't think so bumper; the pain is in the middle just under my breastbone so too high I think.

it's shoite whatever it is.

keepingitRia · 09/02/2009 11:37

daisy, take it easy. hope it's something easily sorted.

LackaDAISYcal · 09/02/2009 11:52

Dd is eating everything that isn't nailed down today. Think she is having a growth spurt!

HellHathNoFury · 09/02/2009 12:11

Daisy hope everything is ok

DS isn't allowed any more growth spurts.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/02/2009 12:14

Daisy Hope it's nothing too serious (though doesn't sound like something trivial either). Take it easy, you hear!

No more snow here thankfully, as I have to walk the mile from my work to jamlet's nursery tonight and then take her home on the bus.

Hi Fury - you got any dates yet?

LittleMissNorty · 09/02/2009 12:21

sorry - a real quickie....sounds like gall bladder Daisy......exactly same as me - I described it as labour intensity contractions under my boobs. Like a belt being tightened. Fucking hurts. Need tramadol and soluble paracetamol.

{{hugs}}....fuck me, I know how that feels.

Will catch up properly later x

LittleMissNorty · 09/02/2009 12:23

I remember laying on the bathroom floor in agony, thn getting DD out of bed and going to A&E......

hope all is ok. You need an ultrasound scan and low fat diet for a while.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 09/02/2009 12:26

aw daisy so sorry to hear your in pain i hope it isnt anything to serious, and that they sort it for you.

do let us know as soon as you do, i will only worry about you otherwise.

my boobs have grown, AGAIN
i cant afford to replace my bras, so i am hoping the 4 boobed look will come back into fashion soon

god help me when my milk comes in.

im am SO having a boy.

LackaDAISYcal · 09/02/2009 12:51

natty what size do you need? I have loads of maternity bras in various sizes.

LackaDAISYcal · 09/02/2009 12:52

most hardly worn I should add

keepingitRia · 09/02/2009 13:13

I think I have a couple too natty, though I'm not sure where or what size, maybe a 38E as a guess.

dasiy, I have a diagnosis for you - it's your body going into panic at the thought of only an hour of Mnet a day, seriously, I hope the pain has eased up a bit.

I am a dozy cow. Just been up to school with DS2s calpol. Gave him it and filled in the form (good job I'm staff amd I know where and how, no-one came to do it for me) and have left the bloddy bottle just on the side in the meds room sack me for negligence! I wanted him to come home but he wouldn't, bless him.

Wonder how DS1 is getting on I do hope isolation meant no PE

HellHathNoFury · 09/02/2009 13:30

Jammy... no dates yet.

I haven't a clue.

Got my booking appt on wednesday.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 09/02/2009 13:48

aw cheers for the offers guys. i have no idea what size i am, i need to measure myself, looking for the tape measure.
i was wearing a 34C m&s, but b4 that i out grew a 36DD mothercare bra. so i REALLY have no clue, as when i put a 34DD or a 36D in m&s it drowned me, yet the mothercare ones are really tight, and they have no stock of larger sizes in both of my nearest stores.

ho hum

so even if i measure myself and tell you my "size" its no guarentee..

i really need to get a afternoon to myself and try a trillion on like last time.

grr

doggus · 09/02/2009 15:11

Daisy - was going to say gallbladder too, absolute hell, poor you.

Just been for a private scan as I thought I was at least six and a half weeks. Turns out I have buggered up my dates completely and bub is five weeks, so I could see a yolk sac and no heartbeat. That's normal isn't it? At least there's something in there and it isn't ectopic or my fertile imagination!

Ohforfoxsake · 09/02/2009 15:15

Yes Doggus! There's very little to see. I think I had a scan at 6 weeks with DD2 and there was not much more other than a yoke and sac too.

But its amazing how quickly it turns into something

You lucky thing! How are you feeling?

Ohforfoxsake · 09/02/2009 15:16

Hope you are OK Daisy Sounds awful. You really don't need this do you?

doggus · 09/02/2009 15:20

Hi foxy - thought so, thank you for that! I am delighted, really, as honestly never thought it would happen! Also I was terrified it would be twins as am honestly ENORMOUS round my tummy already. I'm not exaggerating, I can't get into my jeans. I'v read that in a second pg your muscles expand quickly as they have been stretched. That's my excuse, not the tubs of cookie and cream haagen dasz I've been inhaling.

TALLULAHBELLE · 09/02/2009 15:36

ARSE ARSE ARSE ARSE ARSE ARSE

Just had notification from bank that have gone overdrawn. Tis my own fault, I forgot to transfer money to cover the mortgage but was only 80 quid short & they have hit me with 4 x 35 pound penalties for each transaction made. One was for 2.50 FFS - a freebie I saw on here, just had to pay postage. So the FREE mascara ended up costing me 37.50. ARSE ARSE ARSE. Could kick myself. Just can't afford to throw away 140 quid right now.

Sorry - off to catch up. Be back when in a better frame of mind.
