Wilkie - congrats on the blue

Shimmer - glad you're enjoying it, sounds totally exhausting

Raisin/eandh - ditto on sleep deprivation. Am shattered. And have so much less patience when shattered

Who was asking about milk? I don't intend to swap mine over to semi skimmed any time soon TBH. I admit I am totally anal about what they eat and drink, but as far as milk is concerned, I feel they are 2 healthy and very active kids in no danger of obesity. I think at this age they need calories, especially since I'm so anal about what they eat otherwise !

We had a burst water main here, which was a PITA as these things are. The whole mains pipe is rusted to hell. But the complete donkey who had the house before us built an extension over the water main, so if we decided to replace the whole pipe to prevent more bursts (or if we don't replace it and wait until it does burst again) we would have to dig up the floor and remove half of the kitchen to reach it . This is the same twat as did DIY plumbing and electrics which left us with an enormous leak in an unearthed house

toby michael?

Lizzzombie · 24/04/2009 18:14

How about Theo?
Or there is a Ty at nursery.

I love the name Barnaby, in fact, if I was ever to have another boy, I think Barney/Barnaby would be a contender. (no pg no way no how btw!)

Sorry if I offended about Brian. I meant, no one seems to name their child that anymore. Obviously, 40+ years ago it was more popular!

There is a girl down my road whose DS1 (about 13) is called Dave. Not David, Dave. Which is also...unusual!

I had a customer in last week who was due soon with a girl. I asked her what she might call it and she said "Tiara". Fair enough, again, unusual choice.

eandh · 24/04/2009 18:32

I love Theo I know a little boy called Barnaby (known as Barney) and his sister is Evie Poppy which I like as well

Actually I want to know what Wilkies first name was (the one that her friend used without knowing it was 'her' name iykwim??)

Wilkiepedia · 24/04/2009 19:28

Yeah you buggers - just logged on to see all my congrats messaages

Back home today. Will give full labour story at some point, but key points are it was bloody quick. Woke up c 2.45am with marginal pains 6 mins apart;an hour later they were every minute. Got to hospitalv 10cm dilated at 5.10am and Ben was born not long afterwards. Shame about the ventouse, episiotomy, and tear, but the end product is gorgeous .

Decided against middle name Owen. Still thinking of one!

Wilkiepedia · 24/04/2009 19:43

Yey Reg - I am so excited about it I might wee. Can't wait to see the end product - I bet he is a beauty. Let me know when you are up for visitors, I will palm the boy off, grab Vino and we can have a gander for 30 mins then leave you in peace

On the downside I am now bloody and STILL have PCF in front of me before I pop. Grrrr. Am bored bored bored of being pg now. I hurt, my bits hurt, my belly feels like it cannot grow anymore, am pretty sure he is OP so am trying to sit straighter...blah blah blah

Holiday was fab, got back this afternoon and defo feel more relaxed. It was so nice that mum and dad took a massive share of looking after J who was a little star BTW.

Lizz - no boob advice but best to get checked and if your GP is shite, just swap GPs. I think a good GP is SO important. Have changed GPs 3 times to find a decent one. Have Facebooked you BTW.

LAL/2Hap/EAH - waves hellooooo!

PCF - how are you feeling? Toby is a lovely name although when I was considering it last time mum said it reminded her of a Toby-jug hence why I am not revealing my name this time although I can confirm the initials are LPL (if we don't change our mind before the birth that is...)

Shimmer · 24/04/2009 22:01

CONGRATULATIONS RGEE!!!

Full birth story soon please.

Guadalupe · 24/04/2009 22:04

Congratulations, Rgee!! That's lovely.

Very of speedy birth!

eandh · 25/04/2009 07:19

Wow congrats Rgee love his name (and smug that I guesses yours and PCF names!!) can't wait to hear full story and see some pictures Hope P is enjoying her little brother too!

PCF- I had Toby on mylist for when I was pg with Ellie but dh didnt like it

Wilkie - L - ummm Leo, Leon, Liam, Lester so whart was thatname that your friend used then????

Right better go as Hattie standing next to me with a bowl and the weetabix box so I am assuming she is hungry

Lizzzombie · 25/04/2009 08:11

CONGRATULATIONS RGEE!!! Photos up asap please!
How exciting. I reckon its because he was worried you would come round to considering Barry or Brian if he stayed in any longer!

PCF - Toby is a super cute name too.
Willkie - L...um, er, Lennox, Lewis, Lennon, Luther, Liam, Leroy?! Any of those?

Did I tell you a couple came in recently having named their little girl, Mali. They were English, with no unusual or obvious ethnic background. I asked what the name meant as I'd not heard it ever before. They said they'd made it up, as it was the only name they could come up with that didn't sound awful when shouted. Very very strange. The weird thing is, these people appeared 'normal', & in no way chavvy. Hey ho, it takes all sorts. I wonder what kind of freaks I'll get into day!

laughalot · 25/04/2009 14:02

Rgee congratulations how lovely im so broody now . And I love ben.

Wilkie lewis, luke, leo ?

Right best go im at work

Reggiee · 25/04/2009 16:51

Wilkiepedia · 25/04/2009 21:46
