OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Phoenix · 25/02/2009 20:15

I wouldn't call rice cakes goodies

If it's like ds' it will be a little willy

Friz - I asked dh about having a 3D/4D scan but he won't agree to the £125+

Flamesparrow · 25/02/2009 20:27

I'm not sure I know how DS fares in the willy stakes

EachPeachPearMum · 25/02/2009 20:30

Me neither flame! without giving anything away- it's smaller than his father's!

We have had no internet access all day- problem with our phone line- phone is completely out, internet is mega slow... bt wont sort until 3rd march

am gutted- internet is keeping me going through long nights...

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 20:35

You need to get a new phone with contract internet then EPPM!

MIL commented on how well endowed ds looked when he was just a few days old. Now that the rest of him has chubbed up she says that he looks more in proportion. I have no idea!

mustrunmore · 25/02/2009 21:05

They all look pretty big first few days. Time tells tho

All I knoq is that ds2 has been far more favoured than ds1, bless him!

Frizbe · 25/02/2009 21:11

All girls here, so can't join in the willy conversation

He may change his mind yet Phoenix {{hugs}} didn't realise they cost that much

If they're caramel coated rice cakes, they could be goodies lol at your MRM, did you bend his ear for 5k then
I jogged across town to post office this avo, does that count prob not eh!

Frizbe · 25/02/2009 21:13

EPPM I knew there was something I was going to say, you can get telewest where you are, go for it, ditch BT! only reason we've not changed is that everything round here has to go thru BT lines, as cable hasn't made it to hicksville

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 21:24

If any of you watch Desperate Housewives btw, it restarts tonight at 10pm on channel 4.

mustrunmore · 25/02/2009 21:26

lol frizbe, its the only time i can hve my say, cos he cant run off!

Hmm, caramel ones nope, but there were those honey crimble ones in there; lovely I actually really like plain though.

mustrunmore · 25/02/2009 21:28

Btw, Jas are you still ok to drop me in Enfield on sun morn after the sat night, so to speak?! I ned to be there 10.45 absolut latest, cos I have to be with her to get in, else I'll be sitting in the park with my overnight bag waititng an hour like a tramp

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/02/2009 11:21

happy birthday leon!

BandMeeting · 26/02/2009 12:30

Happy Birthday Leon!

Phoenix · 26/02/2009 15:31

Happy Birthday Boy

EachPeachPearMum · 26/02/2009 17:44

Happy Birthday Leon!

I assume bandmeeting is flame?

DS had his tongue-tie snipped today- just got back after getting there at 12:45
paediatrician was stuck in theatre

BandMeeting · 26/02/2009 18:10

How's he doing with it? Yup, tis Flame - I generally just assume you will all know who I am

EachPeachPearMum · 26/02/2009 19:19

He is fine- fed in the hospital immediately, then slept all way home. Howled at the time though...

they don't let parents be in the room while they do the procedure, which was a little odd- handing over my newborn to 2 people I don't know, who then carry him off- that was nearly as stressful as the thought of him being cut!

BandMeeting · 26/02/2009 19:21

I remember Psycho saying that too

Frizbe · 26/02/2009 19:26

Aww Hugs to the little man EPPM, its all over now though, so yay for that.

Happy Birthday Leon

MRM

Wot's with the name then Flame?

bit today as a good friend of mine and Meridians has been admitted to hospital, I won't go into the details on here, but am hoping the dr's can fix her ok, its a back problem......Meri sounds like she's been able to visit today, so I'm sure I'll find out more when I see her/hear from her, as person in hospital has requested most people visit after the op, rather than before (understandable as you don't want bothering when in pain)

BandMeeting · 26/02/2009 19:29

for your friend

Name - there was a meaning of your mn name thread, and people were talking about wanting more flight of the conchords names... always up for a bandwagon I went with the only thing I knew about it

Dude just been sick everywhere. He has barely eaten for the last few days apart from party food - I don't know if it was the result of the crap, or a bug making him not want to eat iyswim

Frizbe · 26/02/2009 19:49

eeeek really hope its not a bug for you, might explain the dodgy sleep patterns tho too

Frizbe · 26/02/2009 20:17

So dh and I have secured the use of my parents to look after the kids in April, but our hotel of choice is fully booked that weekend any ideas for a great bolt hole get away, not too far from Nottinghamshire? A1 easiest access from my parents, any thoughts appreciated.

Jas · 26/02/2009 21:27

No idea Frizbe.
for your friend

Sick dude.

EPPM - I suspect it is to avoid defensive parents punching the dr when he hurts their child! I had to wait outside in France when ds had hiss lip stitched. Something I will never forget
Glad it is done, though, and hopefully feeding will be easier for you both

Thanks for birthday wishes. We all had a good day, and went out for a meal this evening, which was lovely

My friend had her baby by cs today....her fourth boy

mrm - AFAIK, Yes. I will double check and get back t you.

Frizbe · 26/02/2009 21:46

for friend Jas, 4th boy eh!

EachPeachPearMum · 27/02/2009 03:56

I would have dreaded 4 boys... but now I actually have one, it doesn't seem such an horrific prospect!
Is this the friend whose dp has left her?

Feeding is better- definitely. He is sucking more strongly- less air being taken in, and more milk I m guessing- he fed at 8:30, and has just woken for next feed wow- sleep!

Flame- hope Dude is okay- there are still LOTS of vommy viruses going round here- at the hosp, they had signs up saying visitors restricted to 1 named visitor per day, and NO children. Must be very hard if you're in for a long time.

It is actually very sobering being in the children's part of the hospital (though decor is lovely, and seems really comfortable) I do not know how parents cope when their child has a serious or chronic condition it was quite upsetting seeing/hearing the other patients

mustrunmore · 27/02/2009 07:30

Jeez, 4 boys !!!
