nice curtsey madam ta for the new thread

Have found this site www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-2000107856/88a6cc1b.html with one car on it for you, but its nearer me or Phoenix!

CSWS are you the only posh person on here

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/01/2009 20:46

Hello posh friend .

Thank you serving wench.

Phoenix · 24/01/2009 20:47

Where are you finding all these Friz? I can only find ones £3000+

Ta for new thread but shouldn't it be 'discounted for the posh private one'

for no baby, any more contractions?

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/01/2009 20:48

Awww EPPM. You haven't been pushing your posh credentials enough obviously!

Frizbe · 24/01/2009 20:56

Ah two posh people or do Macca and Soupy count too? (that'll bring em out of hiding)
Erm I'm not sure! they just crop up when I search on google?

Am doing happy dance, my ebay selling is subject to a bidding war

Right I'm deserting you all for the night (if favour of dh, do I hear the cries of splitter?) oh that reminds me I may just do a thread about nectar points 1st, have any of you used them for the breaks away?

Phoenix · 24/01/2009 20:58

How much are you wanting to pay Flame?

Is Wiltshire near enough to you?

Phoenix · 24/01/2009 20:59

No Friz, I don't even know what to do with Nectar points I just keep collecting them and haven't bothered to read anything.

Frizbe · 24/01/2009 21:02

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/weekend_breaks/691104-Nectar-Points-for-Breaks?rnd=1232830858722

I've been doing the same Phoenix, but as I appear to have quite a few now and am skint as far as personal money goes, it would seem prudent to use them for something frivilous, failing that it will be a new toaster, as our broke the other day and using the grill seems to be out of dh's capacity range

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/01/2009 21:18

144,000 miles .

Phoenix · 24/01/2009 21:19

Yeah that's what dh said too.

EachPeachPearMum · 24/01/2009 22:34

It should be 'ones' yes- DD was due to start at her independent school in Jan, but we have put it back to Easter due to upheaval with DS' arrival- not really fair on her to have a new nursery at the same time. Funnily enough though... they haven't mentioned anything about the nursery grant.

Don't know about nectar points I'm afraid- I refuse to sign up because I don't want to give companies that amount of info about me and my spending habits.

144000 miles? They must be driving the length of great britain every week to clock that up

mustrunmore · 25/01/2009 12:49

Found you.
7th I think we have a bday party invite for ds1 iirc, but I'm gonna chack as it might be 8th.

Phoenix · 25/01/2009 16:06

EPPM where are you? fingers crossed

EachPeachPearMum · 25/01/2009 16:39

Am still around.
Had bad news today though. by DB OD's last night
He is fine, but obviously it is a little difficult for me to go over there at present.

VampiresWalkin · 25/01/2009 17:30

I knew it was ones

OP posts:
VampiresWalkin · 25/01/2009 17:31

So sorry - that was from this morning and never sent for EPPM

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 25/01/2009 17:40

For Phoenix.

So sorry EPPM. I guess it's too complicated to explain, but are there known reasons?

Phoenix · 25/01/2009 18:54

Thank you, do you just have them on their own or with something? Ds will eat sweetcorn for every meal so i'm hoping he'll like them

so sorry EPPM ((hugs))

EachPeachPearMum · 25/01/2009 19:17

He broke up with his long-term gf before christmas, and he says that is the cause...
MH problems kind of run in my family though.

EachPeachPearMum · 25/01/2009 19:42

He actually sounds okay, thank goodness- he has been on ADs for 3 weeks, but they take time to work of course, and frequently you get worse before getting better.
You aren't supposed to drink with them though, and he decided to drink yesterday... from noon [grrr]

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/01/2009 20:58

Oh dear. Let's hope the ADs kick in soon.

Phoenix - today we just had them with baked beans, but they go nicely with chips too (what doesn't ).

Phoenix · 25/01/2009 21:06

Lewis doesn't like chips, strange child that he is

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/01/2009 21:33

All the more for you then!
Would go well with any form of potato tbh, but if he's happy with just beans then go with that.
They are good on their own for a snack too, if you can be bothered!

Frizbe · 25/01/2009 22:42

EPPM, sorry to hear about DB hope the ad's kick in properly soon {{{{Hugs}}}}
Hope you get grant info from the new school soon then Labour Vibes heading your way again too

CSWS those patties sound lovely, may give them a try as dd1 tends to stick her nose up at plain old sweetcorn, she might like these

Just back from a lovely girls night at Meridians, diets out the window, we had lovely homemade pizza, salad and garlic bread, with dressing a plenty followed by gorgeous homemade chocolate cheesecake, yummy
