VampiresWalkin · 27/01/2009 11:28

for still no baby

Green 2l diesel. 54 plate (i think). Tax is half of our old one

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 27/01/2009 12:51

Still no baby, pah!

Good news on tax Flame!
The Xsara is quite good for tax and insurance isn't it? (considering how much bigger than my little car it seems to be)

VampiresWalkin · 27/01/2009 14:13

A new bumfluff is setting up My lovely man at Babykind told me. I did a google for bumfluff and nappies before I set up, is that not the normal thing to do?? I did obv miss the darts team....

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 27/01/2009 14:22

Flame- are they anywhere near you?
Surely you have the copyright on the name/domain....
Yes- anyone not checking what name are already in use is a bit of an idiot- technically you can sue them for trying to use your name/reputation IYSWIM.

VampiresWalkin · 27/01/2009 14:23

Lincoln, but will be selling online as well as laundry afaik.

I have bumfluffnappies.com & uk - just bumfluff is taken (she has .biz). No name protection as it never occurred to me that a) I would still be here 2 yrs on and b) anyone would want the name.

OP posts:
VampiresWalkin · 27/01/2009 14:24

Lovely man who calls me to tell me my stock will be held up let me know

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 27/01/2009 14:36

You might want to post a thread in 'legal' and find out what you do about this- even if she is innocently doing this, it is NOT good for your business, and you were there first. I will ask DH about it later, as he is always having to sort stuff like this out.

It might just need a simple email pointing out the existence of your business, and she may back off and change names.

(You wouldn't believe how many domain names DH has registered- it's ridiculous... though of course there are many more IT products/companies than nappy ones)

VampiresWalkin · 27/01/2009 14:39

I have now got bumfluff.info and bumfluffnappies.info too. I am getting advice on my shop support board too.

OP posts:
Phoenix · 27/01/2009 14:43

Flame.

Our Picasso is 54 plate too. Tax is £120 (i think) and insurance is 6E. Is it just a Xsara Picasso or a Desire/LX/SX/Exclusive? Our one now is a Desire and last one was an SX. No idea what the difference is though.

Hope your little one comes soon EPPM. Any signs today?

I've just got back from mw and heard the baby's heartbeat . She was struggling to find it and i was getting worried so she passed it to another mw who found it straight away. She lost it again quite quickly but i heard it so was ok then . They also stabbed me for some blood (triple test)

VampiresWalkin · 27/01/2009 14:44

desire

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 27/01/2009 14:59

Phoenix- heartbeat is so cool when you hear it, isn't it?

VampiresWalkin · 27/01/2009 15:01

I'm sorry - was wrapped up in my own world there

for heartbeat!

OP posts:
Frizbe · 27/01/2009 19:55

for heartbeat

for Baby not out yet EPPM, come on little EPPM its time you were joining us although I'm sure mummys tum is very cosy and warm in this freezing weather

Gah, why does the 54 plate have cheaper tax than ours so unfair, damn co2 improvements....sob.

Flame that's a pita about the name, very silly of her not to check and all that. Not sure where you stand on names, quite a few people worldwide use ours in varying forms

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/01/2009 20:51

for heartbeat.

for bumfluff - def start thread in legal. Might be classed as 'passing off'.

for baby still inside EPPM.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/01/2009 21:06

Master Peach is still inside....
Nothing happening here. Am very tired, so early night I think.
Am getting very at all the Picassos! I want my car back... so I can trade it in!

mrm- maybe DS is waiting for your birthday to appear?
