I felt movements really early with DS too- around 12/13 weeks

Our pancakes were v yummy

Frizbe · 24/02/2009 22:05

Hi All

Glad you all had a great day Flame

at MRM for the run

at the pancake thing Jas, did anyone see the thread started by morning paper yest, in the spirit of the long departed COD, reminded me of that

Good luck for tomorrow Phoenix, hope you can find out what sex baby is and there is no leg crossing.

We had yummy pancakes too

Well I've ended up trawling various Argos's today (2 actually) to get dd2 a Dolls House that she's seen in the catalogue and won't stop harping on about wanting for her birthday, so much for the camera idea! Now I have to get it assembled before next Wed, that's a week right, should have enough time

Jas · 24/02/2009 22:14

I saw Morningpapers thread. It made me
One of them (my good friends/useless cooks) needed me to show her how to weigh out the flour I said 8 oz, she was about to do 4lb8oz, as she doesn't know how to read her own scales!

I've done ds' cake. It is a bit rubbish, but I hope he's young enough not to care and checked the pressie stash. We have no big present and have gone for an assortment of small things he needs (spiderman pyjamas and dr who slippers) and I know he likes (new playdoh, pirate dress up stuff, and fridge magnets)

Jas · 24/02/2009 23:07

Cake pic on profile.

Flame - Your plane cake is great! Did ds like it? The clouds make it look lovely

EachPeachPearMum · 25/02/2009 02:54

great cake Jas!

mustrunmore · 25/02/2009 08:23

Cake is great Jas!

Am I the only person in the world who ignored panackes totally CVant even use hte no-ingredients excuse as we even have a buckwheat packet mix in the cupboard

Supposed to be running with dh this morniing, but I'm in a mood with him and I cant emember why, but its principle now

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 11:44

Great cake Jas, and very organised having it ready a day early.

Jas · 25/02/2009 12:20

Not really csws - we are having a little party here today (any minute now!) so will use it now.

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 12:26

Aha! Then happy partying!

Phoenix · 25/02/2009 13:16

Ok back from the scan. We're slightly disappointed as the lovely sonographer man could only be 85% on the sex. He really tried his best to find it for us and was looking for ages. Everything is fine though

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 13:32

It's a girl then .

Phoenix · 25/02/2009 13:48

Ooo I forgot to put the sex didn't i. The 85% chance is the disappointing part not the sex. He thinks BOY

Phoenix · 25/02/2009 13:49

Is 85% good odds do you think?

Flamesparrow · 25/02/2009 13:59

Love the cake Jas

Yes MRM - you are a terrible human being and should be punished.

I have no idea about sex %ages, but yay for wanted boy

I think movements were earlier with DS - bubbly feelings iirc, whereas with DD it wasn't until proper kicks.

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 14:04

Ooh, I thought girl because normally with boys they are 100%, but with girls are less sure as willies can hide!

Congrats on boy then!

Flamesparrow · 25/02/2009 14:10

Ah see I was thinking 85% was about as high as they would go for fear of being sued.

Phoenix · 25/02/2009 14:11

No apparantley 'he' was right under my belly button and the sound waves don't travel through there so the sonographer was having to look from the side and that is why he couldn't get a clear view. As he was looking around he thinks he kept seeing a little willy. I don't know how excited to get about 85% don't know if i dare go out and buy anything blue

Phoenix · 25/02/2009 14:14

Flame - he told us if they could see clearly they can be as sure as 98%. There were signs in the waiting room that said they accept no responsibility for incorrect sexing.

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 14:23

You don't need to buy anything blue - you have all of Lewis' stuff!

Phoenix · 25/02/2009 14:38

Well you'd think that but i got sick of seeing piles and piles of clothes that didn't fit him so i gave alot away to dh's friend when they had a boy . Have still got some though.

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/02/2009 14:51

I expect I can find you a few bits too .

EachPeachPearMum · 25/02/2009 18:15

congratulations Phoenix! Glad everything was fine.
DS was hiding well and truly at our 20 week scan. Even the private scan had real trouble finding his genitals, and she took ages! Still could only see scrotum, not penis though...

Frizbe · 25/02/2009 20:02

for good scan Phoenix, shame they couldn't totally say the sex tho....worth a 3d scan later do you think?

Jas, hope the party was good, love the cake

Frizbe · 25/02/2009 20:02

mustrunmore · 25/02/2009 20:08

Sorry, but that didi malke me laugh phoenix... really you wanna see a big willy not a little one Trust me, I thought things like that diidnt matter to mums, but I do feel sectretly relieved that ds2 is well endowed

Ah, sooo lovely runnning with dh today 5km together, with him unable to talk

My friend just came round on her way home with a big goodie bag... again... rice cakes, pretzels, iced gems and choco for the boys, chilli oil, nuts
