Yay for cot end

I'm off to the gym, for first time in 6 years....

EachPeachPearMum · 20/02/2009 14:30

????mrm
really? I am surprised, but I am assuming you're not counting exercise classes as 'gym'...

Not sure what to do re cotbed for DS... He will be out of the moses basket early, but DD is still in the cotbed (as a toddler bed)... there isn't really room in her room for a single bed and a cotbed, so cotbed would be better, but the expense- it seems a waste really.

DS is looking gorgeous... he is at the baby acne stage- yuk. All blotchy bless him.
He fussed, fed, and cried all evening until 12, then slept 12-2 and 2.30 -8am -he is definitely one of us! (night owl, wakes late)

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/02/2009 16:40

What you need EPPM is a lovely Amby nest that has hardly been slept in, that you can get at a discount because it isn't technically new any more .

mustrunmore · 20/02/2009 17:46

Of course classes arent the gym! Anyway, that was a little untrue as I did go a few times just after having ds1, but just couldnt find time or get my act together.

Frizbe · 20/02/2009 21:10

Yay for gym MRM, are you sure about the bras though? did you get properly fitted to need two sizes? I'm sure I have both anyway so will dig thru bras for CSWS's do!

Phoenix yay for getting a month off, though really for the pain....good deal on the cot bed end

Flame, like Meri says, you can join the book club virtually if you like?

Not been upto much here, been working and that's about it. dd2 had a tester day at preschool today, loved it, has been waffling at dh about it all night apparently Sure she'll tell me all about it tomorrow

mustrunmore · 20/02/2009 21:25

different styles.

Flamesparrow · 20/02/2009 22:07

Virtually sounds interesting

DH is out on a works do. I had a text from him saying my dad is in the pub too... I sent a message to my stepmum on fb (in a sort of "what a small world" kind of way" saying that they were in a pub together. She seems surprised that my dad is in Bournemouth rather than Poole where he would normally be. A tad concerned now. My dad's track record of reasons to be unexpected places doesn't tend to end well Really hoping he isn't doing something bloody stupid.

Flamesparrow · 20/02/2009 22:37

He is where he is meant to be with who he is meant to be

Jas · 21/02/2009 16:59

I'm sick and need sympathy.

I haven't had a cup of tea for 2 days, so I really must be ill!

Was bedridden yesterday with dd1 taking charge of childrens meals. I am up am about today, but still daren't eat anything yet.

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2009 18:51

No tea!?!?!?!

Phoenix · 21/02/2009 19:20

I read Teal and wondered what the hell you were on about

for been ill Jas. You have my sympathy.

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2009 19:29

How's the arse phoenix?

Phoenix · 21/02/2009 19:50

Still hurts but does feel better with not working.

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/02/2009 19:59

Blimey Jas, it must be baaaaaaad to not have tea. Lots of sympathy heading your way.

EachPeachPearMum · 21/02/2009 20:18

sorry you're feeling so rough Jas.

We're so refined on this thread.... 'how's the arse?'
dear me

Phoenix · 21/02/2009 20:21

How's Master Peach doing EPPM?

God i'm so bad. Dh is at work and i just ordered myself a pizza

mustrunmore · 21/02/2009 20:37

jas...

So ds2's bday.. total spend on 'party' £40 ... invited 9 kids and 8 adults swimming.. free for kids as said they wre all under 5 , free for sdults cos we hadenough of the vouchers off the cereal packets. Then Macd's... happy meal per child, drink per adult, fairy cakes we took with us, about £30. Party bags £10 ish (reused the actual bags from other parties, so only had to get contents). And a Tesco tray bake at home, £4.66 or summat.

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2009 20:41

EPPM - you can't buy class like me!

Yay for bargain party. Really should sort something for dude

EachPeachPearMum · 21/02/2009 20:48

mrm- sounds like a great party
We went to a party today, but DD wasn't really in the mood- just played for a little while, then wanted to go home and eat her cake!

Master Peach is a spotty monster! He is covered in baby acne- really blotchy- looks like a teenager.
His colic seems a little better- particularly improved since we started treating his thrush yes.. I have it too, such fun. I had forgotten how the early days are a never ending stream of GPs appointments and treatments
It seems never ending- looks like he's getting a gummy eye now too!

EachPeachPearMum · 21/02/2009 20:49

Ooh- has anyone read 'the night pirates'? DD got it yesterday (birthday voucher) and it is just lovely! Can't remember who it's by, and it's in her room so can't check, sorry I love it!

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/02/2009 21:04

Can someone give my dh a big fucking slap please. He seems to think that he knows better than me whether or not I've seen a particular film, and refuses to believe that I have seen it just because he didn't watch it with me .

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/02/2009 21:07

Happy birthday B .

Don't worry about the gammy eye EPPM - just shoot some bm in when you can. Ds had one or other permanently gunky for at least 2 months!
