Dizzy dear lovely new name!

Have been troubled by PF getting bashed on other thread so I had to make one last post over there with the nutters. Please tell me why you would compare infant weaning to infant carseat use? One is a LAW but the other isn't, right????

May I offer you a drink Ann? Sounds like it might be a hellofa night. Just for the record my DH doesn't know what a watch is, doesn't know how to tell time, nor does it know how to estimate it. After 15 years, I've figured out it's a worthless fight for me so I just add it to the list OH WELLS like the snoring, the can't get a glass into the dishwasher, the leaves every light on in every room and the has to have tv on at all times. {{{{HUGS}}}}

AnnVan · 23/01/2009 21:55

Thanks TS what drinks have you got?

TwilightSurfer · 23/01/2009 21:56

jack-n-coke
or
segrams-n-seven
or

or

poppysocks · 23/01/2009 21:57

Hear, hear TS re: car seat law vs weaning guideline!

LOL Dizzy with Burns chat. Planning to introduce DD1 to haggis this weekend.

Breath deeply ann. And stay in bed tomorrow am.....

poppysocks · 23/01/2009 21:58

Oh and Dizzy - shed more than a few tears at the exit of Abby last night. Can't believe it's ALL coming to an end.

TwilightSurfer · 23/01/2009 22:00

Mine made a similar call. I have no expectation. When he gets here, he gets here. Guess that good to know for when they go off fishing. It will be cold dinner for the drunk'n lot with tall tales of the one that got away. LOL

AnnVan · 23/01/2009 22:10

Any drink will do TS just make it strong.
Still nothing

TwilightSurfer · 23/01/2009 22:11

AnnVan · 23/01/2009 22:14

oh ann feel really for you. Have been in your place many times in previous relationship (but no baby involved!) it's really horrible. Have small amount of stale red wine , will that do?

poppy put your suggestion to dp and he says, is it PINK? I do not have a problem with pink, but, well, dp does. Am very interested if not pink!!

albs my silver cross was described as a Normandy - dating from about 1969/1970

dizzy I dont like regular haggis either, but LOVE the vegetarian one McSweens do, much less GREASY! but then, I do weave lentils

TwilightSurfer · 23/01/2009 22:19

{{{passes another jack-n-jack to ann}}}

reese is done fussing now. just being a pill. i picked up and she'd stop. i put her down and she'd start again. up stop. down start. i think she finally forgot the pattern and is now playing happily in her activity center.

Now going off at a tangent - VG you were looking for an outfit for DS's baptism - what about here they are Dublin based so you may be able to get it by your deadline. or here a 2 piece

TwilightSurfer · 23/01/2009 22:21

oh and as for the muslin over her eyes. have i not told you....she required a stuff animal over her eyes. it's small, almost like a little pillow, but to go to sleep she has to have it placed against her head to one side. she will then roll her face into it and with one arm pull it down against her face. she will hold it there until she's asleep. odd little duck i have, isn't she.

Hi Ann -(feel free to hit me hard if you think I am on the wrong track) do you think he is trying very hard to impress the people at work and thinks by ducking out early he isn't acting like he team player they want him to be. After the start he had this week he may be trying to stay 'in' with the crowd to try and keep his job?

TwilightSurfer · 23/01/2009 22:23
TwilightSurfer · 23/01/2009 22:24

Oops you said duck too. Let's see how many times we can use it tonight.

Pardon me will I go fetch the duck from the oven.

oopsacoconut · 23/01/2009 22:25

BUT he shouldn't have given a 'home' time if he didn't know for sure he was going to be there! Another but - he is a man and has probably forgotten already what he said to you earlier or thinks it's not important - not realising you have had a cr*p day at home with Seb not sleeping.

oopsacoconut · 23/01/2009 22:27

TS - my DD doesn't have a animal she has a muslin with ducks on it (true - it is a yellow ducky muslin) which she must stick her thumb into the suck her thumb, she uses her other hand to cover her eyes with the rest of the muzzy.

ataraxis · 23/01/2009 22:28

ts re car seat, I thought the same, just couldn't be bothered to point out the obvious. Sometimes it's just not worth it. And I don't think she got the facetious nature of my 'sleeping in the back of the estate' comment

ann that your DP doesn't seem to have taken on board what you have said.

sambo (from ages ago), that was my point, kind of lost my way somewhere between 31 and 37 (hmm - somewhere between Hove and Somerset?).

dizzy I am hoping not to be first one up, but if I am, porridge it will be

Oh, and I am definitely NOT FPG today. Too knackered from the wrong child(ren) waking me up for nights on end. I hate days when I feel like I have shouted too much . Everyone overtired. Must go to bed.

TwilightSurfer · 23/01/2009 22:31

Oops that sounds so so cute. They have little sleep personalities already. I LOVE IT! Just like I love the idea of little ducks on the muslin. Did you sew them or did the muslin come that way?
