Morning all.

Especially LG&T and India.

I will be requiring lengthy cuddles.

I shall be singing Hush Little Baby for the duration.

PJ - she's either writing a really long post or she's keeping you hanging Maybe she's embroiled in the Tour of Down Under

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 21/01/2009 21:15

I'm a bit scared now!

NimChimpsky · 21/01/2009 21:49

Maybe she's having a bath.

TSM by successful I meant good at getting what you want once you set your mind to it.

My mental image of TMAM is Lynette Scavo but in looks only. She's more polished and together than that. Very old grown up.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 21/01/2009 22:03

Nim you're making me paranoid now!

twelveyeargap · 21/01/2009 22:36

Good Lord, I'm glad I wasn't gone for a week!

So sorry AM. People are just awful. Have FB you.

Nim, don't be silly. I was so glad to see you. Usually I would have insisted you had a proper dinner and asked you to stay, so I was feeling bad that I couldn't get my act together.

I went for another run. I feckin' nailed it tonight and ran further and faster. It's the personal training that's done it. Whenever I've tried running before, it was such a slog to get my fitness level up that you feel like you're going nowhere. Keep it up MrsJB! It definitely gets more fun.

Themasterandmargaritas · 22/01/2009 05:28

Lynette Scavo, grown up!

April How downright rude and totally uncalled for. What a nasty piece of work.

So Elkie it could be anyday now, how exciting!

I am thinking back to what I thought SOH might be like.....

TheGreatScootini · 22/01/2009 07:57

and for you AM.Why are people such WANKERS?!

Could you not name change and start your profile again-least then you could lurk?

I am near Harlow Charlie (bout 15 mins)But I am driving up north today too-race you up the A1?!
I am around tomorrow (at Mums I mean)Having hair cut (thank god!) at 10 but free thereafter..meet for a coffee?

What new motor are you getting?

I want another baby desperately now.No chance with our finances but hopefully when DH finishes his exams..

Did you watch GG pj?!I have sky plussed as I had to work late last night so dont tell me anything!v excited.
That is good gossip about Princess Cheryl.(but not surprising. She is thin as twine .I also sky plussed something called 90210 then and now.Did you see it?!

How are the nips gin?Am wincing just thinkingn about it.

I have given up going to the supermarket now unless its very necessary.(with kids I mean, I will deign to go if am on own, just about)We get delivery instead.L and M plus a shopping trolley is not a good look.

I feel like death warmed up today.Have got cold, shivers and a cough. Also I slipped over in the bath (rushing to stop Mae slavering herself in my Clarins whilst I was in the shower)on Tuesday and have got some lovely bruises all down my right leg, my shoulder and two lovely ones on my arse which is making sitting down great fun Cant wait for my two hour drive later..I have bought one of those old lady rubber bath mats to prevent reoccurance..I might take a rubber ring to sit on in the car

AprilMeadow · 22/01/2009 09:23

Just to let you know that i have let them win. i have quit my college course and also stood down as the hr person at work. I cant take it any longer. its too much hassle to keep trying to be polite and professional when people just want to try and bring you down,

So to Kirsten, thanks! I havent done anything to you, you on the other hand have done plenty to me! I hope you have a great life and get everything that you deserve.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 09:54

AM - ((hugs)) You know how I feel, both from a friendship and a HR perspective.

Scoot - I Sky plussed too, God only knows when I'll get a chance to watch it. Sorry about your fall. This is the kind of thing I am usually saying to my nan! Were you drunk?

We avoid shopping with L too, although we did venture to PC world last night where she ran wild, pulling at wires and trying to knock TV stands over. It was fun, my nerves weren't shattered at all. M is so boisterous with her, constantly throwing her about, I find myself saying, 'Be careful with her' about five times a minute.

TYG - glad to hear you're coming to CP. I didn't go for a run last night because it was raining. [wimp emoticon]

TheGreatScootini · 22/01/2009 10:10

I wasnt drunk.Still in farking detox. But I was panicking over the last of my expensive moisturiser which M has no respect for I beg of you.

I have watched a bit of 90210 this morn.It had old clips of Dylan on it.yum.

Run?PJ.You have gone over to the dark side...

Oh April..Please dont do anything in haste.Dont let them do it to you.Fuckers.I am so for you.

Tillyscoutsmum · 22/01/2009 10:11

Bloody hell AM - you've worked soooo hard. Are you really going to let this low life spoil your plans ?? Can you take up the college course again when things have quietened down a bit ? I don't know what to say but it seems such a waste . I hope this Kirsten "lady" is proud of herself

Scoot - sorry to hear about your fall. Clarins or bruises ?? I think I'd have done the same

We had a fun morning - I was in the shower washing my hair, Tilly had managed to climb on to the toilet and had got the toothpaste. I popped my head round to see what she was up to and she was covered in the stuff and was crying because she'd rubbed it into her eyes. So I got out of shower (shampoo still in hair, dripping wet) and stripped her off so I could bring her in the shower with me to clean her up and as I took off her nappy I realised it was full of poo. ewwwwwww. It went everywhere. So I had a screaming poo and toothpaste covered child in the shower with me. Relaxing, non ?

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 10:12

I thought Brandon was more your bag? Dylan is gorge. I need to go to Boots today as I need all kinds of expensive things. Dh will freak.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 10:13

Jaysus Tilly - what a start to the day. And I thought buttering toast with L on my hip was stressful.

TheGreatScootini · 22/01/2009 10:14

I will ring you in a bit AM..I am worried about you.

NimChimpsky · 22/01/2009 10:41

AM, no. If you must you defer your course for a while. I certainly think some question marks have been raised about somebody's professional integrity and it's not yours. Might be worth thinking on.

TMAM, sheesh, I didn't say you were grown up per se, just more grown up than Lynette Scavo who is scatty and forgetful. Look, the point is that these mental images are based on a mixture of radio, tv, posting names, where you live etc. They're inaccurate. And symptomatic of my flightful imagination. Don't read anything into it. Hence why I won't 'do' PJ as I couldn't bear to say the wrong thing.

TYG, you were a perfect hostess.

OP posts:
NimChimpsky · 22/01/2009 10:42

Scoot, no. You're ill again? Have you considered living in a bubble? You poor thing.

OP posts:
MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 10:42

I can't believe you won't 'do' me Nim.

HaggisGaloreInMyWellies · 22/01/2009 10:43

AM do not quit your course. Am incredibly angry on your behalf.

Scoot lovey you need to be taking berroca and echinacha every day to help get rid of you cold.

Tilly bleugh.

PJ shopping just isnt fun anymore with the littlies in tow. I too am also always saying careful to DP he is a fan of the flinging children about.

I need an I beg of you this morning. L woke at 5 for a feed while feeding could hear the dog throwing up downstairs. Archie woke at 5.30 and is now on truly evil form not even Justin is making him happy. He also spilt his milk all over our bed so much it went through to the mattress. The dog has been sick loads more on the expensive very deep shag pile rug. He cant be proper poorly as we cancelled our pet insurance this wk. And to top it all off awful SIL is coming this arvo. The day can only get better right [hopeful emotion]

NimChimpsky · 22/01/2009 10:50

Oh it'll get better. Has the dog eaten anything odd?

I love going to the supermarked with M. Is that weird? She's the only help I have and is very good at lobbing things in the trolley at 10 paces. It takes hours though as she's like a magpie.

OP posts:
MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 10:53

Yes, that is definitely weird. L never wants to go in the same direction as me, and usually makes straight for the veg aisle and starts throwing potatoes around. Or the greeting cards aisle, where she takes all the cards off the shelf.

Usually bribery of some kind is required, or reinforcements. And by that, I mean my mother!

HaggisGaloreInMyWellies · 22/01/2009 10:53

We gave him worming tablets last night so think thats the problem.

By the way you can come whenever you want I am always here attached to the sofa.

Tillyscoutsmum · 22/01/2009 11:35

Tilly loves the supermarket - as long as she can sing all the way round and pull my top down at regular intervals to flash the other customers . She loves the man who serves on the rotisserie counter (he's probably about 60+). She keeps chanting "chicken man" until we get there and then goes all girly and giggly

Jam - you win the bleurggghhh contest then !

Nim - I love this online personality analysis thing. I reckon you're very perceptive (although obviously if you had called me an evil cow then I wouldn't have thought so ). I showed one of my best friends and she was gobsmacked that we hadn't met and came to the conclusion that I must post far too much

TheGreatScootini · 22/01/2009 12:02

Tis only a cold (am ignoring the aching bones, high temp and sore throat)Have decided that being ill is for wimps.I am manning up.As such have dressed (in a skirt to show I am NOT ILL) and put on make up.I have packed up to go to Mums.I have played hide n seek ad finitum with poorly Lils.I am FINE.
(I am knackered and the thought of a long drive this eve with one poorly child and one Ok ish child does not thrill)DH is ill too.(worse than everyone else clearly)

I have spoken to AM.I hope the bitches (my words not hers by the way if you are reading-so you cant call her on that) that have done this get their comeuppance.Jealousy is a very ugly thing and that can be your only motivation cant it? (again my opinion, not neccessarily hers)Sad arent you?Does it ever occur to you that AM is lovely. That she deserves everything she has becuase she and her DH have worked for it.And does it also occur to you that you will amount to nothing because instead of working at life you spend your time doing pathetic things like spying on people on internet forums?

I wonder what Nim thinks of me.Actually I shudder to think..

I like Brandon or Dylan.Brandon AND Dylan better yet..>>swoon

elkiedee · 22/01/2009 12:36

AM, I'm shocked that you feel you have to leave your course, and I hope the college will let you continue, even if you have to take a bit of a break.

AprilMeadow · 22/01/2009 12:46

Hi ladies,
thank you for all your messages on here, facebook and phone.

It seems as though the information i was given about Kirsten was incorrect, so i apologise for thinking it was her. I am seeing things a lot clearer now.

I have had my tutor on the phone who said that she could have just let me leave but felt that as i have passed all my assignments so far and am the only one who has started my main project that she couldnt let me leave. I have explained the entire situation and she said that she felt it was wise that i step down as HR whilst the person in question works for us. I think i will continue with the course if for no other reason as it will mean that she hasnt totally won. OMG it feels so childish, we are in our mid-late 20's yet this is almost playground behaviour.
