Morning all.

Especially LG&T and India.

I will be requiring lengthy cuddles.

I shall be singing Hush Little Baby for the duration.

That's great news about your course AM - I told you the tutor wouldn't let you go!

Some people are very strange. Oi, whoever you are - get a life, seriously.

Tillyscoutsmum · 22/01/2009 13:31

Good News about your course AM. Don't let the bastards get you down

largeginandtonic · 22/01/2009 13:47

AM [and for you. What is up with people? You poor thing. I was coming on to thank you for the absolutely gorgeous outfit (wee dress and adorable vest) and far toooo cute fleecy sleep bag. They are the cutest things i have ever seen. Cant wait to put her in them

I have skim read the characters on our thread, lololololol. I am a bit MaLarkin like atm, may post a thread on style about clothes to disguise wobbly jelly tummies and too big thighs.

Has anyone ever had an Able and Cole delivery before? We did last Thursday and i have just had to phone and complain as almost all the fruit was bad within 3 days and the veges look ropey too

Only the left nip is bleeding now, it is still toe curling at every feed. I am hoping it will improve.

Jam your morning sounds shocking, blardy dogs are worse than children. Eat some chocolate and bribe A with it too.

MKG · 22/01/2009 14:01

Morning everyone!

AM-I'm still pissed off on your behalf.

As for the 90210 men, I've always preferred Brandon. He's a clean cut kid, with a naughty side. I like that. Poor Steve though, it's like they got these super hot guys for the other two and Steve was an after thought.

I've just spent a lot of time explaining to Mateo that the Jam in the pantry and the one in the refrigerator are exactly the same. He insisted that the one in the pantry was better and that is the one I should use on his bread. What is it about the unopened jars that seem to make them better, even though the look exactly the same?

HaggisGaloreInMyWellies · 22/01/2009 14:12

MKG do you call it jam or jelly to your boys?

MKG · 22/01/2009 14:26

That is an excellent question. It depends. Today I said jelly because it's the stuff has no real fruit in it. If it has fruit I say jam.

I only use jam here because I think jelly for you is our jello, and I don't want people wondering why I would put that on bread.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 14:30

Do you eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?

I'm going to see NKOTB again on Wednesday, with the fan club.

HaggisGaloreInMyWellies · 22/01/2009 14:32

Archie loves PB & J sandwiches has them all the time.

twelveyeargap · 22/01/2009 14:33

I've never seen jam without fruit in it... How does one even make jam without fruit? Must be an American thing, like that "imitation cheese".

Do you get bored of us and our childish American/ English comparisons, MKG?

Elkie - Don't get despondent about the baby coming. Keep positive and will that baby out before they even mention inductions. Really hope it goes well for you. Will you be at North Middlesex?

twelveyeargap · 22/01/2009 14:38

Do y'all use that lovely Nature's Earth peanut butter? It's GORGE. It actually tastes of peanuts. The crunchy one has huuuge bits of peanut. Yum, yum, yum. Fab for making satay too because it has no added sugar so it's not sickly.

Hey, this is boring as unbuttered toast, but has anyone ever used JML Magic Eraser? I found some under my sink and it has removed all the wax crayon from the wall and door in the hallway without ruining the paint or requiring any elbow grease. Also brought up the the white paint on the bannister really well. Might even work on felt tip, Nim.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 14:41

If we're on cleaning tips - does anyone have a tried and tested method to get brown eyeshadow off a cream carpet?

NimChimpsky · 22/01/2009 14:49

Brown and cream's very 70s dontcha know. Just add some orange in too and call it a theme.

I've added JML Magic Eraser to the shopping list. Fecking felt tip men all over the upholstery/floor/window sills.

What's peanut butter?

twelveyeargap · 22/01/2009 14:53

I would get the Vanish Oxy upholstery spray for the carpet. Vacuum up the worst of it, without rubbing it in too much, then spray and dab off with kitchen paper.

I think you should have said,

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 14:53

Nim - got your FB msg. I haven't put up a poster but I did make my poor dad get all my memorabilia out of the loft at the weekend.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 14:54

Ha ha TYG - the carpet preceeded her, unfortunately.

NimChimpsky · 22/01/2009 14:55

Do you kiss your pillow and pretend it's him? I still don't know who he/they is/are.

Vanish Oxy Upholstery very good btw.

I use peanut butter (all the times, salivates at the thought) ds1 hates it, and ds2 seems to like it.

My favorite brand is Skippy, but I don't care. I prefer creamy to chunky, but I don't discriminate if there isn't an option.

Jelly is cheap, Jam is better (thinks of my mom's homemade raspberry jam from the raspberry bush outside our old house), and preserves are just way to expense to bother.

I never get bored with our comparisons. It helps me better understand you and other people. a few months ago an English woman came into the store with her baby. I said, "Oh he's so precious!" (because here it's a compliment) as to how cute he is, and she got a mean look on her face. I was like no, no it's a compliment.

sobriquet · 22/01/2009 16:14

I'm thinking about changing my name.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 16:17

I would. It's very refreshing.

sobriquet · 22/01/2009 16:20

Would I want to be called "sob" for short though, that's the thing. Will think on it. Maybe I could say, "Darlings, call me Sobri!"

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 16:21

Or 'Sobby' perhaps?

sobriquet · 22/01/2009 16:24

Sobby The House Elf. Perhaps not. I only chose it to try to be clever.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 22/01/2009 16:26

Possibly go back to the drawing board. And dahling, you don't have to try to be clever, you are clever.

MKG · 22/01/2009 16:26

OK, but I need an update as to who you are.

Themasterandmargaritas · 22/01/2009 16:28

Briquet, now that works, non?
